BEHDINAN – HPG Press Center shared the following details about the war:
“Our mobile teams in the Resistance Areas use many tactics with high skill and strike the invaders incessantly. In the actions carried out by our mobile teams; While 12 invaders were punished, 3 invaders were injured, 1 position was destroyed and 1 attack helicopter was hit. The invaders tried to direct them to the tunnels by lighting a fire that produced toxic smoke in front of the war tunnels and bombed them with explosives twice. In addition, the Resistance Areas were bombed 7 times by airplanes and 22 times by helicopters.
The details of the actions taken and the attacks made are as follows;
IN ZAP REGION;
- On June 18, at 16:00, the invaders who wanted to bombard the war tunnels in the Karker Resistance Area with explosives were hit with sabotage tactics. While 1 occupant was punished, 2 occupants were injured.
IN METINA REGION;
- On June 18, at 07:30, the invaders who wanted to position Girê Martyr Çekdar in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were shot with an assassination tactic and 1 invader was punished. At 13:15 and 13:30, the invaders were shot with assassination tactics one after the other and 3 invaders were punished. The invaders, who were hit, retreated one step. Simultaneously, at 13:30, the invaders in Girê Martyr Şîlan were first shot with an assassination tactic, and 1 invader was punished. Later, the position where the invaders were located was hit and this position was completely destroyed, while the 4 invaders in it were punished.
- On June 18, at 19:40, the invaders in the Girê FM Resistance Area were shot with individual weapons and 1 invader was punished.
- On June 18, at 22:20, our forces were shot down while helicopters were landing the invaders in the Girê FM Resistance Area. While 1 occupant was punished here, 1 occupant was injured. The attack helicopter that wanted to interfere with our mobile teams that carried out the action was targeted and shot down by a different mobile team and the helicopter that was hit had to leave the area.
OCCUPATION ATTACKS CONTINUE
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives;
- From 18:12 to 19:15 on June 18, in front of the war tunnels in the Werxelê Resistance Area, the invaders tried to send a fire that produced poisonous smoke to the tunnels.
- At noon on June 18, the war tunnels in the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area were bombed twice with explosives.
- The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with howitzers, attack helicopters and warplanes;
- On 18 June, drone activity was observed over the Karker and Kurojahro Resistance Areas.
- On 18 and 19 June, the Girê Ortê area of the Metîna region was bombed with mortars and howitzers fired from the Turkish Republic’s Kanî Masî base in Basûrê Kurdistan.
- On 19 June, Werxelê, Çemço, Rênçbiraxa, Karker and Koordîne, Deşta Êdinê, Gunde Seraro areas in the Metîna region were bombed with mortars and howitzers fired from the border police stations.
- On 18 June, the Karker and Saca areas were bombed 7 times with warplanes.
- On June 18, the areas of Werxelê, Kurojahro, Girê FM, Girê Cûdî and Girê Hakkarî Resistance Areas were bombed 22 times with helicopters.
