BEHDINAN – HPG Press Liaison Center shared details about the war. HPG said, “The actions carried out by our forces within the scope of Revolutionary Moves against the occupation operation carried out by the fascist Turkish state continue. As a result of the actions carried out by our forces with a high Apoist attack spirit; 12 invaders were punished, 3 invaders were wounded; 1 attack and 1 Skorsky helicopter were hit. The occupiers bombed the Turkish state’s war positions and tunnels 17 times with chemical weapons and explosives. Resistance areas were bombed 33 times with warplanes and dozens of times with howitzers.”
The details of the actions carried out are as follows:
IN AVASHÎN REGION;
- On June 6, at 10:50 am, the occupiers in the Werxelê Resistance Area were targeted and hit with heavy weapons.
- On June 6, at 14:30 and 14:55, helicopters attempting to enter the Mervanos area were targeted and shot down by our forces. As a result of the effective strikes of our forces, 1 attack and 1 Skorsky helicopter were hit.
METÎNA AREA;
- On June 6, at 12:00, the invaders moving around the Martyr Savushka fighting positions in Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted and hit with heavy weapons.
- On June 6, at 14:00, the invaders around the Martyr Zemanî battle positions in Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were targeted with assassination tactics. As a result of these actions, 2 invaders were punished.
ZAP REGION;
- At 22:20 on June 5 and at 19:015 on June 6, the invaders around the Karker Resistance Area were targeted with heavy weapons.
- On June 6, at 18:00, the invaders trying to approach the Şehîd Hewrê war tunnels in Şehîd Şahîn Resistance Area were shot with sabotage tactics. In this action, 1 invader was punished and 1 invader was wounded.
- On June 6, at 17:00, the invaders who wanted to take position in Karker Resistance Area were targeted by our semi-mobile teams with infiltration and assassination tactics from two arms. Our forces, who went against the invaders with grenades and individual weapons, punished at least 4 invading Turkish soldiers. On the same day at 17:10, the invaders who wanted to attack the battle positions with explosives were targeted by our YJA Star forces with assassination tactics and 1 invader was punished.
IN XAKURKÊ REGION;
- On June 4, at 10:30 am, the invaders in Girê Koordîne of Şehîd Berîtan were targeted with heavy weapons and the targets were hit. At 16:30 on the same day, the invaders were targeted with heavy weapons and hit again. As a result of this action, a container belonging to the occupiers was destroyed, 2 occupiers were punished and 2 occupiers were wounded.
- On June 6, at 11:00, the invaders in Girê Şehîd Axîn were targeted with heavy weapons and 2 invaders were punished.
OCCUPATION ATTACKS
- Attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives;
- On June 6, Şehîd Hewrê war positions in Şehîd Şahîn Resistance Area were bombed 12 times with chemical weapons and explosives.
- On June 5, Şehîd Akîf war positions in Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were bombed 5 times with chemical weapons and explosives.
Attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish army with howitzers, attack helicopters and warplanes;
- On June 6 and 7, Girê Cûdî, Girê FM, Sêdarê, Kurojahro, Çiyareş and Şikeftan Birîndara areas were bombed with attack helicopters, howitzers fired from border outposts and fighter jets 18 times.
- On June 6, the fighting positions in Werxelê Resistance Area in Avaşîn were bombed with heavy weapons and 4 times with warplanes.
- On June 6, Girê Hakkarî, Girê Ortê areas and the surroundings of Yekmalê, Şeşmalê, Şêlazê and Bazê villages were bombarded with howitzers fired from outposts on the border line and 11 times with warplanes.”
