BEHDINAN – The HPG Press Liaison Center said, “Coordinated guerrilla, heavy weapons, assassination and infiltration tactics were successfully applied by our forces resisting in the war tunnels and our mobile teams. In these actions carried out skillfully and without loss; 18 invaders were punished, while 2 radar systems and 3 positions were completely destroyed. The Resistance Areas were bombed by the invading Turkish army 15 times with helicopters, 24 times with warplanes and the war tunnels were bombed 3 times with explosives.”
The details of the actions and attacks carried out are as follows;
IN THE CÛDÎ REGION OF BOTAN;
- The occupying Turkish state bombed the Cûdî region of Botan 11 times with warplanes between 23:00 on May 27 and 09:00 on May 28. After the bombardment, the invaders launched an operation in the area and then withdrew without any results. The Turkish special war press stated that 3 of our comrades were martyred in this operation. However, this is not true, there were no casualties in this operation.
IN THE METÎNA REGION;
- On June 12 at 16:00 and 16:30, the invaders in the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons.
- On June 13 at 05:10, the invaders who took action in Girê FM Resistance Area were shot with assassination tactics and 1 invader was punished.
- At 07:40 on June 13, a coordinated infiltration action was carried out against the invaders in Girê FM Resistance Area. The first action group targeted and hit the position containing a group of invaders and the radar system. The second action group hit the invaders with individual weapons and grenades. In this action, 6 invaders were punished, 1 radar system and 1 position were destroyed. A hidden position belonging to the invaders who wanted to intervene in this action was detected and targeted first with assassination tactics and 1 invader was punished. Then this position was targeted and completely destroyed and 2 occupiers inside it were also punished.
- On June 13 at 09:30, the invaders in Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were shot with assassination tactics and 1 invader was punished.
- On June 13, our forces intervened against helicopters flying over Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area. After the intervention, the helicopters flew away from the area.
IN ZAP REGION;
- On June 13 at 18:45, 21:40 and 23:50, the invaders who wanted to position themselves in the Karker Resistance Area were shot. In these actions carried out by our YJA Star forces, where assassination tactics were skillfully used, 3 invaders were punished.
- On June 13 at 18:30, the invaders who tried to approach the war tunnels in Werxelê Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons.
IN XAKURKÊ REGION;
- On June 12 at 08:00 and 17:00, the invaders in Girê Koordine in Şehîd Bêrîtan region were hit with heavy weapons.
- On June 13 at 12:20, the radar position with 4 invaders in Girê Şehîd Axîn was targeted and hit with heavy weapons. In this action carried out by our YJA Star forces; While 4 invaders were punished, 1 radar system and 1 position were destroyed.
OCCUPATION ATTACKS CONTINUE
Attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives;
- On June 14 at 05:05 and 05:30, the war tunnels in the Werxelê Resistance Area were bombed 3 times with explosives.
Attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish army with howitzer, attack helicopters and warplanes;
- On June 13, Girê Cûdî, Girê Amediyê, Saca, Çemço, Sîda and Rênçbiraxa areas were bombarded with howitzers fired from border posts.
- On June 13, Girê Cûdî, Saca, Çemço and Sîda areas were bombed 13 times by warplanes.
- On June 13 and 14, Girê Cûdî, Girê FM, Girê Amediyê, Şehîd Şahîn, Çiyareş and Kurojahro Resistance Areas were bombed 15 times by attack helicopters.”
