BEHDINAN – The following details were given in the statement of the HPG Press Center:
“The actions of our forces against the occupation operation with the spirit of Apoist resistance and attack continue uninterruptedly. Our comrades who resist with an unprecedented will, especially in battle positions and tunnels, do not let the invaders pass, respond to all kinds of enemy orientations without hesitation and develop effective actions are writing a new history in Kurdistan. The invading Turkish army, unable to achieve results against the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, bombed the Resistance Areas dozens of times with mortars, howitzers and attack helicopters, at least 28 times with fighter jets and 27 times with chemical weapons and explosives.
As a result of the actions of our forces; 13 invaders were punished, 1 invader was wounded, 1 drone and 1 position were destroyed and 2 helicopters were hit.
The details of the actions carried out are as follows;
In the Avashîn region within the framework of Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Move;
- On June 3 at 13:30, the invaders who wanted to advance from Werxelê to Çemço area were targeted and shot by our forces and 1 invader was punished. After the intervention, the invaders could not advance.
In the Metîna region within the framework of the Cenga Xabur Revolutionary Move;
- On June 4 at 21:00, Skorsky and attack helicopters flying over Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were fired by our forces. As a result of the effective strikes of our forces, 1 Skorsky exploded. The heavily hit helicopter had to fly away from the area.
Bazên Zagrosê in the Zap region as part of the Revolutionary Movement;
- On May 28, 1 drone loaded with explosives flying over the war tunnels in Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area was shot down by our forces and the wreckage of this drone was seized by our forces.
- On June 5 at 02:25, invaders around the war tunnels in Karker Resistance Area were targeted by our YJA Star forces with assassination tactics and 2 invaders were punished.
- In the Zap region within the framework of the Martyr War Maraş Revolutionary Move;
- On June 4 at 02:00, the invaders around the war positions in Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted and shot by our forces with infiltration tactics. In this action, 2 invaders were punished.
- On June 4 at 21:00, attack helicopters that wanted to bomb the war positions in Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were taken under intense fire by our forces. As a result of effective strikes, 1 attack helicopter was hit and had to leave the area.
- On June 4 at 09:40, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the fighting positions in Girê FM Resistance Area were shot with ambush tactics and 2 invaders were punished. At 14:15, the invaders who wanted to bomb the fighting positions with explosives were targeted by our forces with sabotage tactics and 1 invader was punished. After the actions carried out by our forces, the invaders retreated one level in panic.
- At 10:00 on June 4, the invaders in Girê FM Resistance Area were targeted and shot by our forces using assassination tactics and 1 invader was punished.
- On June 4, the invaders around the fighting positions in Girê FM Resistance Area were pursued by our forces. The invaders under surveillance were targeted and shot from two columns at 16:00. Our forces, who went against the invaders with individual weapons and grenades, punished 4 invaders, wounded 1 invader and destroyed 1 position.
Attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives;
- On June 4, the occupying Turkish army bombed the fighting positions in the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area in Metîna 13 times with chemical weapons and explosives.
- On June 4, Şehîd Şahîn, Girê Cehennem, Şikefta Birîndara, Karker, Girê FM and Şehîd Hewrê fighting positions in Zap were bombed 14 times with chemical weapons and explosives.
Attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish army with howitzers, attack helicopters and warplanes;
- On June 4, the war positions in the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were bombarded with heavy weapons and howitzers fired from outposts on the border. On the same day, the surroundings of Qesrokê village in the Metîna region were shelled with howitzers fired from the Turkish bases in Kanî Masî and Bamernê in Bashûrê Kurdistan.
- On June 4, Werxelê Resistance Area in Avaşîn was bombed by attack helicopters and 3 times by warplanes.
- On June 4, Kurojahro, Girê Cûdî, Şehîd Şahîn, Kûnîşka, Şikefta Birîndara, Karker and Saca areas of Zap were bombed by attack helicopters, howitzers fired from the outposts on the border line and 25 times by warplanes.
- On June 4, after the occupying Turkish army intensively bombed the Çemço area, a fire broke out in the forest area and this fire is still continuing.”
