BEHDINAN – The message of the People’s Defense Center (HSM) Headquarters Command stated:
“When we look at the actions carried out by mobile teams in the Avaşîn region in the last period, it is seen that conclusive actions that caught the tactical style of the period were carried out. In particular, the successful implementation of the mobile team warfare style and the practice of infiltration, attack, heavy weapons and sabotage tactics with creative methods show that a significant level has been achieved. Apoist self-sacrificing spirit, high courage and without any casualties;
– Punishing 5 invaders and destroying many enemy military equipment in the coordinated guerrilla action in the Mervanos area on 14 June,
– On June 15, the Amarok type armored vehicle was completely destroyed in the Shukê region and the 5 invaders were punished,
– Dealing blow after blow to the invaders in the actions carried out in the Werxelê Resistance Area on 20, 21, 24, 25 and 26 June,
– The elimination of 28 invaders who wanted to advance in the Werxelê Resistance Area on 27 June and teaching the enemy a historical lesson in the Avaşîn area stand out as the effective actions of the period.
Likewise, successful actions were carried out by our mobile teams in the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area on 17, 20, 21, 24 and 25 June, using assassination, sabotage, infiltration and heavy weapons tactics. The effective practice of actions in line with the tactical style and spirit of the period shows that a significant level and performance has been achieved.
The flag of struggle of all our heroic martyrs, especially Serhed, Sarya, Botan, Zinarîn, Cumali and Çavrê comrades, to be waved in Avaşîn, and the bravery of Zendura heroes to be maintained all over Girê Hakkarî today is the practice of our promise to our martyrs. It is undoubtedly very valuable to avenge our martyrs, to protect the missions of the period on the basis of achieving their goals, to catch up with the tactical style of the period, to strike the enemy effectively without loss, and to do all these in the line of self-sacrifice.
First of all, we celebrate the 30 June Day of Sacrifice of all the commanders and warrior comrades who contributed to these actions, especially the mobile teams that carried out these actions in the person of your command and the friends who fought with great will in the war tunnels. We also congratulate them for their high offensive spirit, effective strike style and knack for creatively applying guerrilla tactics, and for their successful actions. We express our belief that all commanders and fellow warriors will continue their march and successful actions on the line of sacrifice without interruption, we greet all comrades with love and respect and wish them success.”
