BEHDÎNAN – HPG Press Liaison Center shared the following details about guerrilla actions and occupation attacks:
“The historic resistance of our forces in Avashîn, Zap and Metîna continues uninterruptedly. The Resistance Areas were bombed 7 times with chemical weapons and 26 times with attack helicopters and airplanes by the invading Turkish army. Our forces both frustrated these attacks and dealt blows to the occupiers by developing counter-actions. As a result of the actions of our forces; 16 invaders were punished, 5 invaders were injured, 1 head camera and 6 flashlights were confiscated.
The details of the actions carried out by our forces with spirit are as follows;
In Avaşîn region within the framework of Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Move;
- On June 2 at 15:30, the invaders who wanted to position themselves around the fighting positions in Werxelê Resistance Area were shot with individual weapons and 1 invader was wounded. At 19:30, the invaders around the battle positions were shot with sabotage tactics this time, 1 invader was punished and 1 invader was wounded.
Jenga Xabûr in the Metîna area as part of the revolutionary offensive;
- On June 2 at 08:00, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the Şehîd Akîf war positions in Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were shot with a coordinated guerrilla action. The first action branch targeted and shot the invaders with medium automatic weapons and punished 1 invader. The second column targeted the invaders with individual weapons and grenades and punished 2 invaders and wounded 2 others.
Bazên Zagrosê in the Zap region as part of the Revolutionary Movement;
- On June 2 at 00:30, the invaders who wanted to take position in Kurojahro Resistance Area were shot with assassination tactics and 1 invader was punished.
- On June 2 at 10:00, clashes took place between the invaders and our forces in the Şehîd Berxwedan war tunnels in the Şehîd Şahîn Resistance Area and a big explosion occurred at 11:24.
- On June 2 at 15:15 and 19:10, invaders who wanted to take position in Karker Resistance Area were shot twice by our YJA Star forces with assassination tactics and 2 invaders were punished.
- On June 2 at 17:30, the invaders who tried to cut down the trees in Şehîd Şahîn Resistance Area were shot and hit with medium automatic weapons.
- On June 3 at 08:30, the occupiers sent a dog into the fighting positions in Karker Resistance Area. 1 head camera and 6 flashlights attached to this dog were confiscated.
Martyr War Marash in the Zap region as part of the revolutionary offensive;
- On June 2 at 12:00, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the fighting positions in Girê FM Resistance Area were shot with an ambush tactic and 3 invaders were punished. At 13:00, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the war positions were shot with sabotage tactics, 1 invader was punished and 1 invader was wounded. At 21:00, the invaders took the dead and wounded away from the area by helicopters.
Bazên Zagrosê in Xakurkê region as part of the Revolutionary Movement;
- On June 1 at 06:08, the invaders in Girê Şehîd Axîn were hit with heavy weapons and at least 3 invaders were punished.
- On June 1 at 05:10, the invaders in Girê Şehîd Derwêş were shot with heavy weapons. In this action carried out by our YJA Star forces, 2 invaders were punished.
Attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives;
- On June 2 at 14:00, the Şehîd Zemanî war positions in Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were bombed 3 times with chemical weapons and explosives. A chemical weapon that emits gray smoke was used here.
- From 11:00 to 11:30 on June 2, the fighting positions in Werxelê Resistance Area were shelled 4 times with chemical weapons.
Attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish army with attack helicopters and warplanes;
- From 20:10 to 20:20 on June 1, the Şehîd Şahîn Resistance Area was bombed 4 times by warplanes.
- On June 2, Şehîd Şahîn, Kurojahro, Şikefta Birîndara and Karker areas were bombed 9 times by attack helicopters.
- On June 2, from 07:00 until 16:47, Girê Cûdî Resistance Area was bombed 4 times by warplanes. At 21:00 there was helicopter activity in the area and our forces intervened the helicopters. After the intervention of our forces, the area was bombed 1 more time by airplanes.
- On June 2 at 17:10, Girê Bahar area was bombed 1 time by warplanes.
- From 01:30 to 03:00 on June 3, the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area was bombed 7 times by helicopters.”
