BEHDINAN – HPG Press Press Center announced the latest information about the war. In the statement stating that a historical resistance was displayed, the following details were given:
“The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, as the defender of the Kurdish people and the Kurdistan geography, continues its victory-oriented resistance line under all conditions with the Apoist sacrificial spirit. The effective actions developed by our forces from Bashur to Bakur once again frustrate the calculations of the invaders. Our forces, who exhibit a historical resistance in the Medya Defense Areas, not only frustrate the operations of the colonialist Turkish state with thousands of soldiers and intensive techniques, but also organize effective actions and deal heavy blows to the invaders. As a result of the actions carried out by our forces; 16 invaders were punished, 5 invaders were injured and 1 attack helicopter was hit.
The details of the actions carried out are as follows;
IN THE AMED REGION;
- On May 23, the occupiers in Taver police station in Lîce were targeted by our forces with assassination tactics. In this action, 1 occupier was punished.
- On May 23, the occupiers in Bilbilîk police station in Lîce were targeted by our forces with assassination tactics and 1 occupier was punished.
- On June 1, the occupying Turkish army launched an occupation operation in the Şehîd Serhed area of Lice district of Amed. This operation, which was frustrated by our forces, was withdrawn on June 3 without any results.
IN AVASHÎN REGION;
- On June 7, at 12:30 pm, the invading Turkish army bombed the war tunnels in the Werxelê Resistance Area with explosives. At 12:40 pm, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the war tunnels were shot with grenades, individual and heavy weapons. At 13:20 on the same day, the invaders who wanted to attack with explosives were targeted by our forces. As a result of effective strikes, the explosives brought by the invaders exploded. As a result of the explosion, 2 invaders were punished. At 14:15, the invaders around the war tunnels were targeted and hit again with heavy weapons.
- As a result of these actions carried out by our forces, at least 4 invaders were punished.
METÎNA AREA;
- On June 7, at 17:30, the invaders around the Martyr Savushka war tunnels in Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted by our semi-mobile teams from three columns. The first and second attack columns effectively hit the invaders at close range and punished 5 invaders. A group of invaders who wanted to intervene in the action area were targeted and shot by the third attack column.
- As a result of this coordinated attack action carried out by our semi-mobile guerrilla teams; at least 7 invaders were punished and 4 invaders were wounded.
- On June 7, at 22:30, helicopters over the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area came under intense fire by our forces. As a result of effective strikes, 1 attack helicopter was heavily hit and had to leave the area.
ZAP REGION;
- On June 7, at 12:20 and 15:00, the invaders trying to approach the war tunnels in Şehîd Şahîn Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons.
- On June 7, between 12:30 and 15:00, the invading Turkish army tried to advance at 15:10 after intensely bombarding the Şehîd Hewrê war tunnels in the Şehîd Şahîn Resistance Area. These invaders were targeted with grenades and individual weapons and 1 invader was wounded. After the intervention, the invaders retreated one level.
- On June 7, the invaders who wanted to bomb the war tunnels in Shikefta Birîndara Resistance Area were targeted and hit by our forces. After the intervention of our forces, the invaders had to retreat one level.
- On June 7, between 02:50-04:30, the invaders around Karker Resistance Area were targeted and hit by our YJA Star forces three times with assassination tactics. In these actions, 3 invaders were punished. On the same day at 01:30, 1 military type sensor placed by the invaders around the war tunnels was destroyed by our forces.
OCCUPATION ATTACKS
Attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives;
- On June 7, Şikefta Birîndara and Şehîd Hewrê war tunnels in the Zap region were bombed 19 times with chemical weapons and explosives.
- On June 7, Werxelê Resistance Area was bombed 9 times with chemical weapons and explosives.
- Attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish army with howitzers, attack helicopters and warplanes;
- On June 7, Çemço, Kurojahro, Çiyareş, Karker, Şîkefta Birîndara, Şehîd Şahîn, Şehîd Harûn, Şehîd Tolhildan, Girê Rûbar, Karker, Girê Cûdî, Girê FM, and Girê Ortê areas in the Zap region were bombed by attack helicopters, howitzers fired from border posts and 38 times by warplanes.
- On June 7, the fighting positions in Werxelê Resistance Area in Avaşîn were bombed with howitzers fired from outposts on the border line and 7 times with warplanes.
- On June 7, around Qesrokê village and Serê Metîna area were shelled with howitzers fired from Kanî Masî and Bamernê outposts in Bashûrê Kurdistan. On the same day, the area around Bazê village was bombed by warplanes.”
