BEHDINAN – HPG Press Liaison Center said, “The resistance and actions carried out by our comrades in the war tunnels and our mobile teams with Apoist steel will, determination for victory and sacrificial spirit continue uninterruptedly. In the actions carried out by our forces in memory of the Heroes of Zendura who were martyred in 2021; 17 invaders were punished, 4 invaders were injured, 3 mobesse cameras and 1 radar system were destroyed. The occupying Turkish army bombed the war tunnels 37 times with explosives and 24 times with chemical weapons and poisonous gases. The resistance areas were bombed 25 times with warplanes, 20 times with attack helicopters and also with howitzers fired from the border outposts.”
The details of the actions carried out are as follows;
IN AVASHÎN REGION;
- On June 8 at 01:00, the mobesse cameras and radar system placed by the invaders in Werxelê Resistance Area were targeted by our YJA Star mobile teams. In this action, 2 mobesse cameras and 1 radar system were destroyed.
- On June 8 at 15:35, the invaders in Werxelê Resistance Area were targeted and shot with heavy weapons. In this action, 4 invaders were punished and the invaders who were hit retreated one level.
IN METÎNA REGION;
- On June 6, the invaders in Girê Hakkari Resistance Area were targeted and shot by our mobile teams with individual and medium automatic weapons. In this action, 4 invaders were punished.
- On June 7 at 12:05, the invaders in Girê Hakkari Resistance Area were targeted and shot with medium automatic weapons. In this action, 1 occupier was punished and 2 occupiers were wounded.
- On June 8 at 18:45, the occupiers in Girê Hakkari Resistance Area were targeted with heavy weapons. In this action, 5 occupiers were punished and 2 occupiers were wounded.
- On June 8 at 15:55, 1 mobesse camera in Girê FM Resistance Area was targeted and destroyed with assassination tactics.
IN ZAP REGION;
- On June 8 at 07:00, the invaders who wanted to position themselves in the Karker Resistance Area were targeted by our YJA Star forces with assassination tactics. In this action, 1 invader was punished.
- On June 8 at 14:20 and 17:00, the invaders in Girê Şehîd Şahîn Resistance Area were targeted with heavy weapons. The occupiers who were hit had to retreat one level.
- On June 9 at 00:00 and 02:15, the invaders who wanted to position themselves in Karker Resistance Area were targeted by our YJA Star forces with assassination tactics. In these actions, 2 invaders were punished.
ATTACKS WITH CHEMICAL WEAPONS
Attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives;
- On June 7 and 8, a fire was lit in front of the Şehîd Akîf war tunnels in the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area and smoke was tried to be sent to the tunnels.
- On June 8, Şehîd Hejar and Şehîd Akîf war tunnels in Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were bombed 9 times with explosives.
- On June 8 at 17:30, a fire was lit in front of the Werxelê war tunnels and an attempt was made to send smoke into the tunnels. At 18:10, the war tunnels were bombarded with tear gas.
- From 08:00 to 18:00 on June 8, the Şehîd Hewrê war tunnels in Şehîd Şahîn Resistance Area were bombed 26 times with explosives and 18 times with chemical weapons.
- On June 8, the war tunnels in Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area were bombed 1 time with explosives.
AIRPLANE, HELICOPTER AND HOWITZER ATTACKS
Attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish army with howitzers, attack helicopters and warplanes;
- On June 7 at 18:20, around Gûzê village in Garê region was bombed 1 time by warplanes.
- On June 7, Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area was bombarded with howitzers fired from the border outposts.
- On June 8, Ava Lolanê and Girê Şêhîd Heqî areas in Xakurkê region were shelled with howitzers.
- On June 8 and 9, Girê Hakkari, Girê Cûdî, Girê FM, Çiyareş, Karker, Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area were bombed 20 times by attack helicopters.
- On June 8 and 9, Werxelê, Çiyareş, Şikefta Birîndara, Çemço, Girê Bahar areas were bombed 24 times by warplanes.”
