BEHDINAN – According to the statement made by the HPG Press Liaison Center, 2 çağdır and 2 mobese systems were destroyed in the actions. While the Turkish army bombed the Media Defense Areas 23 times with airplanes and 25 times with helicopters, poison gas and explosives were used 13 times against the war tunnels.
The HPG statement gave the following information about the clashes and actions:
IN ZAP REGION
- On June 17 at 23:40 and June 18 at 03:40, the invaders in Karker Resistance Area were shot by our YJA Star forces with assassination tactics and 2 invaders were punished.
IN METÎNA REGION
- On June 17 at 05:30, the invaders who wanted to take position in Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were shot by assassination tactics and 1 invader was punished.
- On June 17 at 08:00, our forces in Girê Cûdî Resistance Area called on the invaders to surrender to the guerrillas, and then they were shot and hit with individual weapons. After the strikes of our forces, the invaders retreated one level. At 10:30 am, the invaders tried to use chemical weapons. At the same time, 1 invader who wanted to settle in Girê Şehîd Baxtiyar was shot and punished with assassination tactics.
- On June 17 at 12:30 pm, the invaders who tried to position themselves in Girê Şehîd Çekdar in Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were shot with a coordinated guerrilla action. It was determined that at least 6 invaders who were shot from two arms with individual weapons were punished.
- On June 17 at 13:30, the invaders in Girê Şehîd Çekdar in Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were shot with assassination tactics and 1 invader was punished.
- At 14:00 on June 17th, the occupiers in Girê Jûdî Resistance Area were shot and hit with individual weapons.
- On June 17 at 15:00, the invaders in Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons. The occupiers who were hit retreated one level.
- On June 17 at 15:55, the invaders in Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons by our YJA Star forces.
- On June 17 at 19:30, 1 mobesse camera belonging to the invaders in Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area was destroyed by our YJA Star forces with assassination tactics.
- On June 17 at 19:40, the invaders in Girê Şehîd Akîf in Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were shot by our mobile teams with infiltration tactics. First, a tent containing the invaders was effectively hit and this tent was destroyed and 3 invaders inside were punished. Another tent containing the invaders was also targeted and hit accurately, this tent was also destroyed, 1 invader was punished and 1 invader was wounded. Afterwards, the occupiers on this hill were targeted and hit, 2 occupiers were punished and 1 mobesse camera system was destroyed.
- On June 17 at 20:20, the occupiers in Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were shot with individual weapons and the occupiers who were hit retreated one level.
- On June 17 at 22:00, helicopters moving over Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were targeted by our forces. After the intervention of our forces, the helicopters moved away from the area.
Attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives;
- On June 17 at 07:00 and 13:10, the Şehîd Akîf war tunnels in the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were bombed twice with explosives.
- On June 17 at 10:00 and 12:00, the war tunnels in Karker Resistance Area were bombed 5 times with explosives.
- On June 17 at 17:00 and 18:40, a fire was lit in front of the war tunnels in Werxelê Resistance Area and poisonous fumes were sent to the tunnels 2 times and bombed 1 time with explosives.
- On June 17, the war tunnels in Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area were bombed 3 times with explosives.
Attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish army with howitzers, attack helicopters and warplanes;
- On June 17, drone activity was observed in Werxelê and Girê FM Resistance Area.
- On June 17, Werxelê, Girê Amediyê and Girê Şehîd Heqî and Geliyê Lolanê areas of Xakurkê region were shelled with howitzers.
- On June 17, Werxelê, Karker, Girê Cûdî, Girê FM, Saca Resistance Areas and Goşîne, Girê Şehîd Hawar, Sinûnê and Şehîd Şerif areas of Xakurkê region were bombed 23 times by warplanes.
- On June 17, helicopters bombed Girê Cûdî, Girê FM, Girê Hakkarî, Kurojahro Resistance Areas and Qaşûra, Girê Azad, Gundê Seraro, Gundê Êdinê and Koordine areas in Metîna region 25 times.
