CENTRAL NEWS – The occupier Turkish state and its ally the PDK have launched incessant attacks on the Media Protection Areas since 17 April. The HPG and YJA STAR guerrillas have also been carrying out heavy operations against the occupiers with a spirit of sacrifice and Apogee. Reactions against the occupation by the Kurdish people in Kurdistan and abroad have also increased. Young people and young women are also clear about their attitudes towards the enemy. This is why young men and women from different nations have already joined the guerrilla ranks in order to respond to the enemy.
The young women who joined the guerrilla ranks asserted that the guerrilla resistance had influenced their determination for life and that they had been drawn towards the line of freedom. The young women also called on all young men and women to join the guerrilla ranks for the country and for a very free country.
Viyan Şehba, Turkmen:
“My name is Viyan Şehba, I joined the ranks of the PKK because I did not accept the isolation of Leader Apo and took revenge on the martyrs. Leader Apo has been on ralmraliyê Island for 23 years. We must fight for Leader Apo and the martyrs, we must not leave the weapons of the martyrs on the ground. Wherever we go the enemy will attack us, we will resist the enemy everywhere. Let us preserve the memory of our martyrs together. The more martyrs we have, the more we have to take up their weapons. I joined the guerrilla ranks as a Turkmen, so that I would not let Erdogan and the Ottoman dream come true. I also participated on this basis, because there is no other way to show us justice other than this way, because there is no other way of justice other than this place. We must always fight. I call on all Turkmen to hear my voice and join the guerrilla ranks as a Turkmen. Attacking Zap and Avaşin, we must also go there to fight them. Because we need to raise the weapons of our martyrs. If we do not do that, we will always face the enemy. That is why all Turkmen women and youth must join the guerrilla ranks and fight together.’
Ronahî Amara, Arab:
“My name is Ronahî Amara, I joined the guerrilla ranks as a young Arab woman. Because I was affected by the war and the guerrilla struggle against the occupation, especially the war that took place in the mountains of Avaşin, Metin and Zap. I was impressed by the guerrilla scene that responded to the enemy with a young vengeance, for which I also joined this regiment. I also decided to join, so that I too could defend my country and not allow the occupiers to invade our country. My call is for any Arab woman or woman living in Syria to join the PKK. Let us unite our hands and fight against the enemy and we will never allow the enemy to invade our country. My call is for all women to join, especially Arab women, to join the guerrillas, so that we can save our people and our country. Let us join hands to go to the mountains to fight and not let anyone destroy our land. For this too I hope every young woman will join the ranks of the guerrillas.”
Nûjiyan Ocalan, Kurdish
“My name is Nûjiyan Ocalan; The reason for my involvement is the impact of the war on Mount Zap and Kurêjaro, the resistance that the guerrillas are waging there. The sect and the guerrilla struggle have had a profound effect on me. So I promised and I joined the PKK. I as a young woman want to be the answer to diminutive. We will not allow the enemy to ever win. My call is for Kurdish women first, then Arabs and finally all women of different nationalities living in Kurdistan to join the guerrilla ranks. They also take their place in this war. Be a response to the fascist enemy who is fighting against us with all his might. The PKK has been on its feet for more than 50 years and no one can defeat the PKK. Let no one ever think of going against the Kurdish people, the PKK and YJA STAR, because until the end we will work, we will give blood, we will never give our blood cheaply. The PDK must stop betraying itself. The PDK is committing the greatest betrayal against the Kurds, let it be known that it is also betraying the Kurds or being Kurdish, the PDK is selling the blood of its people to the enemies of the Kurds. We call on the PDK to give up its betrayal because it cannot succeed. Because betrayal never succeeds. If we are not one, we will go one by one. For this we must intensify our struggle together even more.
We must also fight for the release of our fellow prisoners. Therefore, in the face of all the pressures being exerted on us, let us continue our struggle and never give up our struggle and resistance and do not take good steps. Whoever says I have saved the PKK, he has saved himself, the PKK is always on its feet. If one of us goes thousands fall into the ranks of the guerrillas. As Leader Apo says “WE STARTED AS YOUTH, WE WILL SUCCEED AS YOUTH”. On this basis, I also call on all young women in West, East, North and South Kurdistan to join the guerrilla ranks. We also have hope and faith that we will succeed, we never think of defeat, we always think of revenge for the blood of the martyrs, revenge for our country. Success is ours.”
