DÊRÎK – The Revolutionary Youth Movement and the Dêrik Young Women’s Union made a statement as part of the activities to be carried out. In their statement, the youth called on all the youth of Kurdistan and said; “The borders must be lifted now, it is time for the rebellious youth and the borders are not recognized by fascism. As young people we do not allow this. “We will hold a long march on the 30th of this month. We call on all the youth of the West to join and join the resistance of the freedom fighters.”
The statement started with a minute of silence for all the martyrs of the revolution, then the youth announced the actions to be taken, based on which the youth responded to the call of the Youth Groups and their participation in this mobilization.
The full statement is as follows;
“In the first place, the isolation in Imrali is against humanity. There is a serious isolation in our leadership. Leader Apo did not allow the dirty policies against the Kurdish people, the war that is being waged in the mountains today, we can not stop the resistance of Leader Apo, the guerrillas of Kurdistan are giving a great resistance, we must join this resistance as young people. Because the guerrilla is the honor of the Kurdish people.
The Kurdish youth must also unite with this honor and stand against the betrayal of the PDK. Because the fascism of the Turkish state is attacking the guerrillas and the Kurdish people through the PDK. Each friend fights with a spirit of sacrifice and unparalleled. This spirit of sacrifice elevates the path to freedom, the truth and philosophy of Leader Apo always puts great struggle and resistance on the shoulders of our youth. We, as the youth movement of Rojava and the union of young women, have called for the mobilization of youth associations, and we express our participation.
The youth of the four parts of Kurdistan must stand up and remove the borders. At a time when young people are rebellious and do not recognize borders, we young people no longer allow fascism. So we will be holding a long march on the 30th of the month. We call on all young people in the west to join and join the guerrilla resistance.
“Let ‘s go to the War of Independence to salute the guerrillas and against the betrayal and occupation and let’ s march towards freedom.”
The statement ended with the slogans “No life without our Leader”, “Long live the Imrali resistance” and “Long live the guerrilla resistance”.
