BEHDÎNAN – HPG guerrillas in the Media Protection Areas spoke to ANF about the occupation attacks and the guerrilla struggle.
HPG (People’s Defense Forces) guerrilla Bîrhat Ezîdxan from diyarengal stated that an occupier operation has been launched since April 17 and said, “This operation started with modern technology and bombardment of the area. The enemy wants to destroy the youth of this people with these attacks. But we must not forget that the guerrillas have been fighting for years in the mountains of Kurdistan to defeat the occupiers.
With my youth of revolution I will fight more to defeat the enemy in the Median Protection Areas. With the memory and belief we have gained from Leader Apo and many years of experience will be the path to success for us. We will definitely defeat the enemy in the Zap area. This defeat will be the defeat of the occupier Turkish state.
The occupying state has mobilized all its forces to defeat its attacks. By all means want to occupy our country. We are also children of this country and we did not come from a different place. We want to live in a free country. But the occupier enemy wants to prevent this, he wants to deprive the Kurds of their freedom. A strong struggle must be waged against this in order to save our country. The enemy must know well, even if one of us remains, we will not leave this land to the enemy.”
‘WE WILL WIN WITH NEW GUERRILLAS’
The guerrillas of Welat Agir also stated that these attacks, which are currently being carried out specifically on Zap, are not only against Zap and said, “This attack is on all Kurds. That is why we guerrillas are also waging a historic resistance. The enemy of the invader is very distressed in these places. As long as we are on this earth we will not allow the invader to act so comfortably. We have this mindset and belief, we will continue this war with new guerrilla methods and we will win. ”
Agir stated that the people of South Kurdistan in particular should stand up and said, “There is currently a war in Zap, Avaşin, Metin and Haftanin. So we must further enhance our struggle for freedom. The occupier enemy wants to start the genocide of the Kurds by destroying the guerrillas. This war should not be limited to Zap alone. The enemy wants to occupy all of Kurdistan, and our uprisings must be carried out everywhere in Kurdistan. ”
