MILAN – Internationalists from the Communist Party of Italy and the Kurdish committee friends two actions of occupation took place and a stand action also was held. Dozens of internationalists and Kurds acted together to call the attention of the society for whats is happening right now in Kurdistan and how NATO is part of it, as well as how the world is ignoring it.
- The first occupation action was held on ITALY’s official television, yesterday, at 16.00, a 40-minute long occupation action was held on Rai TV under the leadership of the communist youth of Italy and the Kurdish committee. In the action, representatives of Rai TV were interviewed and they were asked to report on the situation in Kurdistan on Rai TV. Rai representatives also said that they would do it.
- A second occupation action was held at 16.30 in the building of the European Parliamentary Union in Milan. They presented a file on the military operation initiated by the Iraqi state in Shengal, the European Union demanded the Turkish state to exert pressure and ended the action.
- The third action was held at Milan Piazza Fontana at 17:30. Many Kurdish friends and Italians joined the stend that had banners, slogans and speeches against the occupation in Kurdistan.
While the youth unfurled banners, carried PKK flags and posters of the People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan, they continued their protests with the slogans of “Killer Erdoğan” and “Biji Kurdistan.” In the statement they read in the parliament building, they drew attention to the silence of the world public opinion against the invasion attacks of the invading Turkish state on Kurdistan and stated that they should not remain silent against the invasion attacks carried out by fascist Erdoğan and his gangs in Kurdistan.
Young people from Kurdistan and their friends also drew attention to the guerrilla resistance developing in Kurdistan and stated that the Kurdish people resisted the invasion attacks.
