BEHDÎNAN – The Press and Information Office of the HPG said, “The occupying Turkish army is inflicting heavy casualties on the resistance and the historical activities of our forces. The occupier Turkish army can not advance and fights against the battlefields of our forces dozens of times a day with chemical weapons bombardment and crime. The occupying Turkish state is using a lot of chemical weapons, trying to defeat it with external warfare methods. The actions of our forces continue unabated against all the dirty methods of the Turkish army. As a result of the actions of our forces, 4 occupiers were punished and 2 occupiers were injured.
Information about the activities is as follows:
IN THE AVASHIN AREA
At 22.25 hours on 22 May, our forces fired heavy weapons at the occupiers around Werxel Hill of Werxel Resistance Area. At 14.30 hrs individual guns were fired again at the invaders. One occupant was punished in these actions and 2 occupants were also seriously injured.
IN THE ZAP AREA
On 22 May at around 14.30 and 15.25 hours, the occupier Turkish state army shelled the battle positions of the Berehit xwedahin Resistance Square 14 times with weapons and chemical explosives. In the evening, when the occupiers wanted to bombard the battlefields again, our forces fired at the occupiers with individual weapons. Due to the intervention of our forces, the occupiers were forced to withdraw one step.
At 22:30 on 22 May, our forces assassinated the occupiers around the battle positions of the Hell Hill of the Şehid înahin Resistance Area. An invader has been punished here. At 16.00 on the same day, the occupiers tried to reach the battlefields when our forces attacked them. After a deep battle here the invaders were forced to take a step back.
On 22 May, the occupying Turkish army bombarded the battle positions in the Resistance Area of the Wounded Cave with chemical weapons and explosives 9 times and then tried to advance. During the intervention of our forces, an invader was punished and the invaders were forced to withdraw.
On the morning of 22 May, the occupying Turkish army, after bombarding the Tehîd Tolhildan positions of the Kurojahro Resistance Area 5 times with chemical weapons and explosives, wanted to advance. After the intervention of our forces with sabotage tactics, the occupiers were forced to take a step back.
At noon on 22 May, the occupiers around the battlefields of the Kurojahro Resistance Area were targeted by our forces with heavy weapons and an occupier was punished.
At 13:00 on 22 May, the occupiers who wanted to attack the battle positions of Şehîd Berxwedan in the qadaehîd xwedahîn Resistance area were fired upon by our forces with heavy weapons. As a result of the intervention of our forces, the occupiers were forced to withdraw a step. The same day the attack helicopters that wanted to bomb the area actually came under fire from our forces. As a result of the intervention of our forces, the helicopters were forced to leave the area.
ATTACKS CONTINUE
The occupying Turkish army bombed the Median Defense Areas dozens of times with warplanes, attack helicopters and obus.
Details of the attacks are as follows:
On 22 May, the areas of Girê Amediye, Girê FM, Şehîd Şahîn, Saca, Girê Karker, Kurojahro, Şehîd Dîdar, Şehîd Harûn, Çemço, Rênçbir Axa and Sîda of Zap were attacked by obus, attack helicopters and border posts. 19 were also bombed by warplanes.
On 22 May, the areas of Hakkari Hill and Orte Hill in the Metin area were bombarded with obus from checkpoints along the border and three times by warplanes.
