BEHDINAN – The resistance of the guerrilla continues against the invading Turkish state’s attacks against Zap and Avaşîn with the support of the KDP. In Medya Defense Zones, a group of HPG and YJA Star guerrillas congratulated the guerrillas who resisted the attacks of the enemy selflessly in Zap and Avaşîn.
The guerrillas greeted the Zap and Avaşîn resistance with the slogans of “Bijî Berxwedana Zagrosan” and said that the struggle against the enemy is an example for all oppressed peoples.
The evaluations of HPG and YJA Star guerrillas regarding the Zap and Avaşîn resistance are as follows:
YJA Star guerrilla Xemlîn Kobanê: “I commemorate all martyrs of the revolution in the person of Heval Mizgîn with respect. Because our very valuable and pioneering friends were martyred in May. That’s why May, the Month of Martyrs, is a meaningful and important month. One of our comrades who died in May is Heval Mizgîn. Heval Mizgin took part in military, social, cultural and artistic activities. We continue to fight in the line created by heval Mizgin, who is a pioneer with his struggle and resistance.
YJA Star forces are currently fighting on the line of resistance of our martyrs. Especially in Zap and Avaşîn, YJA Star and HPG guerrillas are displaying a heroic resistance. The Turkish state attacks our friends with all its technical power every day, but still cannot overcome the guerrilla resistance. There is a war of existence and non-existence in resistance positions. The Turkish state wants to occupy the South completely with the cooperation of the KDP. Resistance against the attacks of the enemy continues in many areas such as Rojava, Shengal, Maxmur and Kirkuk. Enemy YJA Star and HPG guerrillas want to commit genocide against the Kurdish people. As the fighters of Rêber Apo, we will never allow the Turkish state and the collaborator KDP to achieve their goals. In this sense, we will do everything in our power, but our people also need to give more support to the resistance. In particular, they should take a serious attitude towards the KDP. Especially women and young people should not remain silent against this betrayal. We must not allow the enemy to pollute our lands. Our people must increase their resistance against the invasion attacks.
We have not heard from our Leader for a long time. As the Turkish state struggles in its war against the guerrilla, it deepens the isolation against our Leader. As the enemy realizes that his end is near, he puts more pressure on the Leader. As the fighters of Rêber Apo, we will resist all kinds of attacks of the enemy until the end.”
HPG guerrilla Welat Rojhilat: “I commemorate all our martyrs with respect in the person of Heval Haki Karer, Hozan Mizgîn and Hewler martyrs who were killed by the KDP. We repeat the promise we made to our martyred comrades; We will achieve your goals.
The enemy is waging a great war in every field against the Kurdish people in the person of the Kurdish Freedom Movement and all peoples who are in favor of freedom. HPG and YJA Star guerrillas put up a relentless resistance against the attacks carried out in cooperation with the Turkish state and KDP. The Turkish state wants to destroy the guerrilla and achieve the new Ottoman dreams. Fascist Erdogan is leading the way. In this way, he wants to plunder Kurdistan once again. However, the Turkish state is stuck with the resistance of the guerrilla in Zap and Avaşîn. The guerrillas punish dozens of enemy soldiers every day.
KDP, known for its betrayal in history, also supports the enemy in every sense. The KDP and the Barzani family must now come to the right path. How long will they be betrayed? The Turkish state will be defeated one hundred percent in this war, and its collaborator KDP will bring its own demise as long as it continues. That’s why they should turn from the wrong path as soon as possible. Kurdish youth should also join the guerrilla ranks against the attacks of the enemy. This war is the war of existence and non-existence of the Kurdish people. For this reason, our people must rise in every field. The struggle of HPG and YJA Star guerrillas against the enemy is a struggle that will set an example for all oppressed peoples. Once again, I salute the guerrilla struggle and bow respectfully before their resistance.”
YJA Star guerrilla Dilpak Cûdî: “Erdogan launched an attack against the guerrilla by using all his means. Despite his technical strength and heavy weapons, he could not get what he wanted against the guerrilla. Even chemical gas cannot overcome the resistance of the enemy guerrilla, who uses all kinds of forbidden weapons. With the support of the KDP, they want to destroy the Kurdish people and the guerrilla, but they will not succeed. In 2008, when we were children, we heard about the defeat of the Turkish state in the Zap. The enemy will be defeated by the guerrilla resistance today as it was in 2008. Those who were children in 2008 are today guerrilla fighting against the enemy in these mountains. Erdogan cannot defeat the guerrilla anywhere, neither in the Zap nor in Avaşîn. Victory will be for the guerrilla.”
YJA Star guerrilla Axîn Nemir: “First of all, I salute all my friends who resisted in Zap and Avaşîn, and I commemorate our martyred comrades with respect. Although the enemy used chemical gas and forbidden weapons, he could not overcome the resistance of his friends. We are in a different field right now, but our hearts are with our friends in Zap and Avaşîn. The resistance of our friends in that region strengthens us even more. We will definitely avenge our comrades who were martyred in Zap and Avaşîn.”
HPG guerrilla Çiyako Gabar: “We are also fighting along the line of resistance left to us by our pioneer comrades in May, the month of martyrs. We will continue on the path of our martyrs until the end, and we repeat our promise that we will make their dreams come true. The enemy has launched a major attack especially on Zap and Avaşîn areas. The Turkish state is not waging this war alone. NATO is also involved in this war. We will not allow the Turkish state to move freely on the territory of Kurdistan. We will fight against the invaders until the last drop of our blood.”
HPG guerrilla Azad Tolhildan: “HPG and YJA Star guerrillas are fighting a very strong fight against the attacks of the Turkish state in Zap and Avaşîn. This struggle shows how strong our belief and ideology is. While there is such resistance on the one hand, there is the betrayal of the KDP on the other. The Turkish state is attacking the Medya Defense Zones with the support of the KDP. Even enemy chemical weapons cannot break our will despite all kinds of attacks. The Turkish state trusts its technical power, while we trust its Leadership line and ideology. We can also understand how the Turkish state was defeated in the face of the guerrilla from the blows it suffered. They have more than 400 losses. Turkish soldiers do not have the strength to fight. They rely only on their technical strength. But the enemy should know that no matter how strong he is technically, he will never be able to defeat the guerrilla.
We also had martyrs in the ongoing resistance. Our friends were martyred as a result of the KDP’s betrayal. The KDP claims to be Kurdish, but it is a power that sells its Kurdishness. Our people should react against the betrayal of the KDP. Especially the people of Bashur should rise up against this betrayal. This is no ordinary betrayal. Since the 90s, the KDP has been known for its betrayals. KDP should know that as long as it continues like this, their end will be like the end of AKP. Finally, my call to the Kurdish people, everyone should take part in this war of existence and non-existence. We must end the resistance with victory and liberate Rêber Apo and Kurdistan.”
YJA Star guerrilla Jînda Hêvî: “We are going through a very difficult time, but we are stronger than ever. A person who grew up with the PKK ideology does not accept a life other than resistance. We grew up with this philosophy. Our comrades who resisted the enemy in Zap and Avaşîn showed us this once again. No power can stand against the will of the PKK. We will realize the goals and dreams of our friends who were martyred in the attacks of the enemy.
The Turkish state called their invasion operations “Claw-Lock”, but perhaps for the first time in their history they did something right, they were locked in Zap and Avaşîn. Our friends locked the enemy in the region with their resistance. Although we cannot be with our comrades physically, our hearts beat with them in those resistance positions. Especially the actions of our female friends against the enemy affect us a lot. It gives us great morale. We can see how hard the enemy is in the actions carried out by our female friends.He chose the KDP side in the war in Avaşîn and Zap and took the side of the enemy. KDP’s betrayal has continued since history. If the KDP had some Kurdishness in its veins, it would not have chosen such a path. If he were a Kurd, he would not have sold the lands of Kurdistan, where the blood of the people sheds every day, piece by piece. Let the KDP not forget that we will defend these lands to the last drop of our blood and we will not allow the enemy to live comfortably in Kurdistan.”
