NEWS CENTER – The attitude of the German police was remarkable in the mass demonstration that took place in Berlin, the capital of Germany, last Saturday, to protest the Turkish state’s latest invasion attack against Southern Kurdistan with the cooperation of the KDP. Despite obeying all laws within the framework set by the Security Directorate, the police resorted to provocations and tried to provoke the peaceful Kurdistan people and their friends.
In the demonstration, which coincided with the application made to the Ministry of Interior for the cancellation of the PKK ban in Germany on May 11, 2022, it was noteworthy that the police did their best to prevent violence. Especially among the police, who used the slogans of “Bijî Serok Apo” (Long Live President Apo) and “Bijî PKK” (Long Live the PKK), there were many police officers of Turkish origin, and some of them insulted the demonstrators in Turkish.
TURKISH POLICE OFFICER PROVOKED KURDISH PEOPLE ON THE “DEFEND KURDISTAN” DEMONSTRATION IN BERLIN, ON 15 OF MAY
During the demonstration “Defend Kurdistan” that gattered thousands of people in Berlin, the police was extensively present and close to the Youth. During the demonstration, a turkish-german officer provoked the demonstrators as a video shared on twitter shows. He approaches the Kurdish women and say something in turkish, knowing that this will provoke reaction among the demonstrators, that were protesting against the attacks from the turkish state against the guerrilla position in Bashur Kurdistan and the recent increasing of shelling in Rojava.
Confession of ‘ERDOĞAN’S MEN ARE GIVEN TO DUTY’
Undoubtedly, it is not the first time that the Berlin Police Department has deliberately appointed fascist Turkish-origin police officers who are pro-AKP-MHP government in the demonstrations of Kurds. In recent years, this situation has also been the subject of the German media, and security experts have called for the Berlin Police to abandon it. The events in the latest footage in Berlin showed that the Police Department, aside from taking these warnings seriously, has assigned more Turkish origins.
In the last issue of Der Spiegel magazine in November 2017, an instructor at the Berlin Police Academy admitted, “The police supporter of Erdogan is taking part in Kurdish demonstrations, I don’t know how well this will go, I don’t know the answer.” Similar statements and confessions were made by another trainer who spoke to the Berliner Morgenpost newspaper. Stating that it is a fact that Erdogan supporters are among the Turkish-origin police candidates, this trainer, who did not want to be named, said, “Even though I criticize this, the relevant authorities look at this situation as freedom of expression and show patience.”
THEY ARE SHOWING ON VIRTUAL NETWORKS WITH POLICE UNIFORMS
These police officers, who work in various departments of the Berlin Police Department, do not feel the need to hide that they are pro-AKP-MHP, and they share the photos they took with the Turkish flag or fascist signs on virtual networks. Especially in 2017, when a uniformed policeman shared the photo he took with a gray wolf sign on virtual media platforms, it caused a reaction in the German public.
Not only in Germany, but also in all European countries, organized Turkish fascists shared the photo in question with the title ‘We are inside, no problem’, with the content of threatening insults towards western countries. Announcing that the photograph is real, the Berlin police force had contented itself with opening an investigation against the Turkish-origin police officer. After the investigation, it is estimated that the police were transferred to another place and they are still on duty.
THE MISSION TO PROTECT THE SYNAGOG IN THE FACISTIC NAMED ‘TOLGA’
In 2019, a fascist named Zafer Gülgen shared “Everywhere is TR for us” on his virtual media account, wearing the uniform of the Berlin State Police Department and using the police equipment and nationalist signs. Announcing that the person in question is not currently working in the police after this scandal, the Berlin police force said, “An investigation has been launched on how he obtained the police supplies.”
In March of this year, a Turkish fascist with the fake name “Tolga” shared rap music clips he shot while wearing police clothes with a Turkish flag on the internet. As a result of the research of the German media, it was revealed that the person who appeared in the clip, in which racist words such as “The infidels will be beheaded by the Turks, we are ready to die in the way of Allah” were actually a police officer and that he was an officer of the Berlin Police Department.
Speaking to Die Welt newspaper, a police official announced that the Turkish-origin police officer was in charge of the unit that guards places and places. It was stated that this racist police officer, who shared the images/photos of the war waged by the Turkish army against the Kurdish people and the photos he took while saluting the soldiers in front of the Turkish flag, has recently been tasked with guarding the embassies of foreign countries and a synagogue in Berlin.
HIGH LEVEL POLICE WORKING FOR MIT
Scandals in the Berlin police force are not limited to these. In 2018, it was revealed that a police officer working in the Berlin Police Department was working for MIT. The high-ranking police officer was caught red-handed while transferring the information he had gathered about the Erdogan regime, living in Berlin, about the dissidents and the Kurds to an officer at the Turkish Embassy.
While the investigation opened by the Berlin prosecutor’s office was kept secret, it was stated that the person whom the spy police informed was a member of the MIT who was posing as a Turkish diplomat. Making a brief statement after the scandal emerged, Berlin State Interior Minister Andreas Geisel simply said, “We are aware of the allegations against the police.”
THEY WANT TO LEAK EVERYWHERE FROM INTELLIGENCE TO BAMF
It is not new that the Erdogan regime is trying to gather information on Kurds and Turks by infiltrating German police units, as well as MIT, which has established a network of agents through the religious institution DITIB, consulates, front companies and Turkish banks. The Turkish-origin chief commissioner Döndü Yazgan, whose MIT connections were revealed while he was working in the “adaptation police” department in Wiesbaden, Hessen State, and whose name was deciphered by the ANF in August 2017, was one of the spies of the Erdoğan regime.
While it was revealed that Turks who applied to Germany’s domestic intelligence agency to work with the Protection of the Constitution, connections with the MIT were revealed, it was revealed that 20 Turkish translators working in the Migration and Refugee Department (BAMF) also worked for the AKP-MHP regime. However, the investigations against Turkish spies in Germany, where more than 6,000 MIT, informants and agents are active, did not exceed the symbolic importance. None of the investigations opened against nearly 20 MİT members in the last 5 years yielded any results.
