HPG Press Center shared the following details in a statement regarding the guerrilla actions and invasion attacks:
“The actions of our forces against the invading Turkish army continue. The invading Turkish army, which uses all the dirty war methods against the war positions in the Resistance Areas, cannot get results in the face of our forces’ resistance.
The details of the actions in which 6 invaders were punished, 2 invaders were injured and 1 tank was destroyed are as follows;
IN AVAŞIN REGION;
On May 10, at 16:20, the invaders who wanted to position themselves around the battle positions in the Werxelê Resistance Area were shot down by our YJA Star forces. As a result of this action, in which the invaders were targeted with heavy weapons, 2 invaders were punished and 2 invaders were injured. The invaders, who bombarded the area with warplanes after the action, were able to remove their losses from the area with helicopters in the evening hours.
On May 10, at 13:10 and 18:00, the invaders around the battle positions in the Werxelê Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons by our YJA Star forces.
IN ZAP REGION;
On May 9 and 10, the invaders around the battle positions in the Kurojahro Resistance Area were targeted with heavy weapons by our forces. The targets set in the actions taken were hit accurately.
On May 10, at 15:30 and 20:30, the invaders around the Girê Martyr Şemdîn battle positions in the Kurojahro Resistance Area were targeted with heavy weapons by our YJA Star forces. Targeted enemy positions were hit accurately.
On May 10, at 13:00, the invaders who wanted to cut the trees around the Girê Martyr Cûdî battle positions in the Karker Resistance Area were targeted and shot by our forces and 1 invader was punished.
At night on May 10, attack helicopters that wanted to bomb Kurojahro and Girê Rûbar Resistance Areas came under fire, targeting our forces from the arm. As a result of the effective intervention of our forces, the helicopters moved away from the area.
On May 10, at 12:00, the invaders around the battle positions in the Girê Martyr Şahin Resistance Area were targeted and hit with heavy weapons. As a result of the effective hits, the invaders retreated one step.
On May 10, between 12:00 and 21:00, the war positions of Girê Martyr Berxwedan in the Martyr Şahin Resistance Area were heavily bombed with chemical weapons.
IN METINA REGION;
On May 10, at 14:55, the Kanî Masî outpost of the invading Turkish army, located in the Amediye district of Duhok, was targeted and hit by our forces with heavy weapons.
On May 10, at 16:00, the Bamernê military base area of the invading Turkish army in Bashure Kurdistan was hit by our forces. As a result of the effective hit of our forces, 1 tank in the base area was destroyed and 3 invaders were punished.
ATTACKS CONTINUE
The invading Turkish army’s extensive attacks against Medya Defense Areas with howitzers, attack helicopters and warplanes continue.
The details of the attacks are as follows:
Between 9 and 10 May, the Girê Shekîf slopes of the Xakurkê region were bombarded with howitzers.
On May 10, at 17:40, the Desta Kafya area in the Garê region was bombed with warplanes.
At night on May 10, the Girê Cûdî, Girê Amiye and Girê FM areas in the Zap region were bombed 7 times with warplanes. On the same day, it was bombed with howitzers fired from the outposts on the Girê Hakkari border line in the Metîna region.
On 10 May, Martyr Şahin, Çiyareş, Kurojahro, Martyr Harun, Girê Martyr Şemdîn, Girê Hell, Çemço, Saca, Karker and Şikefta Birîndara areas in the Zap region were bombed with attack helicopters and 9 times with warplanes.
