NEWS CENTER – Lêgerîn Artemetan, member of the coordination of Komalên Ciwan, spoke to our news agency about the invasion attacks of the Turkish occupying state and the cooperation of the KDP. Lêgerîn Artemetan started her speech by commemorating the martyrs of May and continued her speech with the following words:
“First of all, I commemorate the martyrs of May and all the martyrs of the revolution in the person of the Hevals who fell in the Medya defense areas in Zap, Avaşîn, and I bow to them with respect and gratitude.
We salute all the Hevals in the guerrillas who are resisting against this long-standing occupation and betrayal. The main purpose of the operations launched on April 17 in Zap, Avaşîn, is against the Kurdistan Freedom Movement and the Kurdish people. We know that the long-standing operations of the fascist Turkish state aim to destroy the Kurds as a whole.
Although these operations carried out by the fascist Turkish state aim to end our struggle, it is actually one of the weakest processes of the fascist Turkish state. The fascist Turkish state defines its existence by the absence of Kurds. They believe that they can create themselves if they destroy the Kurds. But with these attacks and genocides, we see that this is not the case.”
The guerrillas are not resisting with superior weapons and techniques, but with superior will.
The coordination member of Komalên Ciwan, Lêgerîn Artemetan put that the attacks on the Medya defense areas cannot break the will of the guerrillas of Kurdistan’s freedom, and continued:
“As we have seen in Zap, Avaşîn, as we have seen in Metîna and Xakûrkê and Heftanîn, this is the case.Despite the intensive use of technology and chemicals, they have never been able to defeat the guerrillas, their will, or the will of the Kurdish people. We know that these operations were carried out with a fascist-chauvinist mentality, or we can say; These are the operations that were started with the partnership of the fascist Turkish state and the KDP. Of course, with these attacks, they will not be able to break our struggle or our will. The whole world has seen that despite their technical and chemical use, they cannot break the will of the guerrillas of freedom. We do not have such superior techniques or weapons, the guerrillas have a superior will. The fascist Turkish state and its partner, the KDP, cannot understand this. We can say that we will defeat this dirty war in the end and our martyrs will definitely be avenged.”
Our struggle will continue until the physical freedom of Rêber Apo is achieved.
Lêgerîn Artemetan drew attention to the isolation imposed on Abdullah Ocalan, chairman of the Freedom Movement, and stated:
“We know that the torture carried out for a long time by the İmralı torture system is not only against our chairman. It is an isolation imposed on the Kurdish people as a whole starting from the Chairman.They aim to separate us from the philosophy of the Chairman as a whole. The fascist Turkish state, the fascist state mentality should know exactly that we have joined the philosophy and thinking of the chairman by believing in it. We participate in this glorious, virtuous life by accepting that. So we will fight to the end. We will not accept this tightened isolation by any means and we will fight until the physical freedom of the chairman is achieved.”
The fascist attacks must be responded to on the basis of the revolutionary people’s war.
Lêgerîn Artemetan stated that the guerrilla resistance should be protected and this resistance should be kept alive throughout Kurdistan and explained:
“In the face of this genocide, this special war that has been going on for a long time, the youth must fight against it. We know that there are hundreds of young people who do not accept this life, there was the will to show that at Newroz. There are young people who say we are the Fedayî Rêber APOs. We believe that young people will join the war if they show this will. In such a dirty war, only with a more honorable resistance and life can be answered against such an honor- and will-breaking Turkish attack. We believe that with this will, all the youth will join these ranks. We believe that the actions that our cadres will take in the areas will be based on this. In addition, since the beginning of these operations, the will has emerged in all areas that embraced the will of the guerrillas. But this is not enough. This reality should be seen by both our people and young people. Because this is a fierce war. In the face of this fierce war, we can only destroy fascism by fighting in the spirit of the people’s revolutionary war. Only in this way will the state mentality be destroyed, in this way will the struggle and the philosophy of the Chairman be won. In particular, we will not accept this betrayal of the KDP to the people of Kurdistan. The KDP is not a destiny for the Kurdish people, its betrayal of Kurdistan is not a destiny. It is a black mark for us, for the people of Kurdistan, for our history. Therefore, it is necessary to eliminate this betrayal and stigmatization by fighting it as a whole and taking action against it.”
“We call on all young people to act”
Coordination member of Komalên Ciwan Lêgerîn Artematan ended her speech with a call to action to the youth of Kurdistan. Lêgerîn Artemetan stated that all youth should resist fascism with the spirit of the people’s revolutionary war. Lêgerîn Artemetan said:
“We will fight until the physical freedom of our chairman is achieved. We are convinced that we will fight until the end against the betrayal and occupation by the fascist Turkish state and its partner KDP and that our people and youth will proceed on this basis in all fields. We will not allow even an inch of the land of Kurdistan to be occupied, we will not allow these operations that led to the betrayal of the KDP and we believe that our people and youth will approach the matter with this attention.
On this basis, we invite all Kurdish youth to join the ranks of the guerrillas, within the framework of the offensive “Werin Cenga Azadiye” launched by the Komalen Jinên Ciwan and Komalen Ciwan against the invasion attacks.
Those who cannot be guerrillas but believe that they can lead this struggle to the end should be active in the fields with the spirit of mobilization with all the youth who do not accept this fascism. In the spirit of the revolutionary people’s war, we call all youth to action and believe that those who will lead this struggle against the attacks of fascism. ”
