NEWS CENTER – Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Press Center made a statement on its official website and gave information about the mobility of the mercenaries affiliated with the invading Turkish state on the war fronts.
The statement stated:
“According to numerous reports from sources, Huras al-Dîn gangs settled in the villages of Kebaşîn and Basût in the south of Afrin and in many places on the war fronts in the south. Simultaneously, the Feyleq Al-Sham gangs were expelled from these villages by the MİT.
The same sources noted that more than 300 Hayat Tehrîr Al-Sham gangs settled in the villages of Fafirtîn and Bazîrê, before that they settled in the villages of Basûfan and Şêx Eqîl in the south of Afrin. This happened after the meeting of the Turkish state inspectorship with the mercenaries affiliated with the Turkish state in Sermede city of Idlib.
At the meeting, the parties agreed on placing the Tehrîr Al-Sham gangs on the fronts in the northeast of Aleppo and facilitating their movement in the occupied Afrin, Bab and Jarablus regions.
The invading Turkish state creates a safe place for its mercenaries
The deployment of new terrorist groups, especially Huras al-Dîn and Hayat Tehrîr Al-Sham gangs, is taking place within the framework of the Turkish state’s plans to form black belts from terrorists on the war fronts from the southern countryside of Afrin to the western countryside of Manbij and Kobanê and to use these terrorists in possible attacks. .
It was underlined that after ISIS gang leaders Abu Bakr Al-Bexdadi and Abu Ibrahim Al-Qureyshi were killed in the areas occupied by Turkey, Ahrar Şerqiyê terrorists and other gangs committed many crimes, and that the Turkish state made the occupied areas a safe place for terrorist organizations.
Urgent international mobilization is needed to stop the transfer of members from non-Syrian areas to the occupied areas, including education, finance, and more.”
SDF commander Qeremox: Turkey is deploying troops along Ain Issa front
Egîd Qeremox, one of the frontline commanders of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Ain Issa is now reporting on Turkish troop concentrations in the region.
“Preparing for a new attack”
Commander Qeremox told the ANHA that “the Turkish state has sent large contingents of troops to the area around Ain Issa and some villages in the region to prepare a new attack. In the last few months, the SDF fighters have inflicted heavy casualties on invading forces as part of self-defense. The Turkish army has repeatedly had to ask Russia for help in recovering the bodies of their soldiers who were killed around Ain Issa.”
“We are ready”
Commander Qeremox underlined that all preparations have been made to successfully counter a new Turkish invasion and pointed to Russia’s role in the Turkish aggression: “In the last few months, Turkish missiles have fallen near Russian bases. But Russia took no position on this. Therefore, Russia’s presence in the region is nothing more than a formality.”
Permanent attack on the civilian population
On 18 May, a woman and 4 children were injured in Turkish artillery fire south of Ain Issa. The attack on the village of Qertaç, 45 kilometers deep into Syrian territory, is a clear indication of Turkish invasion ambitions. On 22 May, a civilian was injured in a Turkish drone strike. The shelling continued on Monday. The village of Gozeliyê in the vicinity of the region around Til Temir bordering Ain Issa and the strategically important M4 expressway were attacked.
