KOBANE – Young people took action in the city of Kobane, Rojava to set up checkpoints and stay on watch last night. As the attacks of the turkish fascist state are increasing in the regions and the villages around Kobane are being target, the Youth took initiative to take its place as part of the self-defense forces of the city, under the strategic of Revolutionary People’s War, they called the people and especially the Youth to play a major and active role in the defense of the Revolution and the Motherland.
“My name is Mistefa, as a revolutionary youth movement today we have come out to defensive positions tonight, we are defending our city, we are defending our land, as it is known the Turkish state is attacking us. It’s our duty to do something when the attack on us happens. We are participating in those activities, as a revolutionary youth movement we are high in morale, we call on every young person to stand up to protect the country and their honor.
My name is Osman, we have taken defensive positions on the city of Kobanê to protect our land and our city, the turkish state attack us and if we do not do it as a youth who will? We need the youth to own our land as long as there is a drop of blood in our souls we will defend our land, now we are out to defend the land.
My name is Masiro. I am from the city of Kobanê. As revolutionary youth, we are here today to defend our city. It’s one of our main goals, if we do not defend ourselves we can not live, on that basis we go out to defend ourselves we put the checkpoints. Especially in these times, the attacks of the Turkish state increase, not only do we go out to defend all the duties that falls on our shoulders we stand up, what is needed from us we will do it, in actions and demonstrations for example. Because if we do not defend ourselves we can not live, e, we also call on all our young people to come out in defense.
My name is Egîd, a member of the revolutionary youth of Kobanê. We are defending our country from the attacks that are being carried out, we hope that everyone will join the revolutionary youth, the youth are now going in the wrong direction we must bring them to the right path.”
