SHENGAL – The martyr Şervan Êzîdxan, who was martyred on May 2 in an attack by the Iraqi army against the Yezidi Security Forces and the Berengal Resistance Units (YBŞ), was laid to rest today.
The funeral procession started with the participation of hundreds of people from the Yazidi community from Xanesor Hospital to the cemetery of Martyr Dilgesh and Martyr Berxwedan in the mountains of Serdeştê.
The burial ceremony of Martyr Êzîdxan began with a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs. Speaking on behalf of the Sinjar Resistance Units Command, Zekî Şengalê: “On behalf of the YBŞ Command, we extend our condolences to the family of the martyr. Friend vanervan was a fellow commander and pioneer. It had organized itself for the education of Yazidi youth.”
We have already given this bill. Our decision is a decision of struggle, a decision of resistance. Today after we have given so many martyrs, we have given so many heroes at the end of this land how will we be silent. We YBŞ never wanted the problem to be solved through war. But the Iraqi state insists on resolving this by war. We are the martyrs of Dijwar, the martyrs of Mam Zeki, we will never give up our achievements. We reiterate here that we are ready to resolve our issues through dialogue. We are the sacrifices of the Angel Peacock. Whatever force tries to occupy Sindh, we will be against them. Whoever does what, we are the feudal forces of this society. ”
Azad Hussein also spoke on behalf of the Democratic and Autonomous Executive Council of Sinjar. At the beginning of his speech, Azad Hussein recalled the martyrs of the 74th Commandment in the person of Martyr Êzîdxan and continued: “It is necessary for the entire Yazidi community to study its history. Let no one say that this attack is only on self-government or on military force. This is an attack on the entire Yazidi community. “If war is at my door today, it will be at my neighbor’s door tomorrow.”
