BEHDÎNAN – KCK Foreign Relations Committee made a written statement on the Turkish state’s invasion attacks and massacres against civilians.
The statement drew attention to the massacre of children and civilians in Bamerne town of Amedi and stated that the murderer is the occupying Turkish army and the collaborator KDP. KCK called on the people and political forces to take action against the massacres.
In the KCK’s statement,
“On May 26th, the Turkish state once again bombed Kurds having a picnic on their own land in the town of Bamerne in Amedi, killing 3 of our people, including 2 children. First of all, we once again declare that we will create a free Kurdistan, free from betrayal and occupation, in memory of these people who were martyred as children. We offer our condolences to their families and the Kurdish people. We condemn the massacre with hatred. Apart from the people of Behdinan, no one has yet reacted seriously to this massacre, which was broadcast live in front of the cameras, condemning it and taking a stance. On the contrary, the government, parliament and political actors of Southern Kurdistan are silent as if the massacred were not their own citizens. There has been no significant statement from the Iraqi state, government, institutions and political actors so far. The only voice is the KDP, which is in a hurry to cover up and justify the war crime committed by the Turkish state and tries to blame this crime on the People’s Defense Forces (HPG). As a reflection of the psychology of collaborationism and guilt, it desperately wants to cover up the massacre carried out by the Turkish state openly and in front of the cameras. The HPG declared that the massacre was committed by the Turkish army and that they had nothing to do with it. It is the Turkish army and its partner KDP that carried out this massacre.”
“The historical enmity of the Turkish state against the Kurdish people; denial, extermination, assimilation, exile, genocide and massacre has always been practiced as a continuous policy. In this massacre and genocide of Kurds, the Turkish state has received the support of western political powers and states that play an active policy and role in the region. In particular, international institutions have always acquiesced, kept silent and provided technical support in these massacres. NATO is at the forefront of these institutions. From the moment it became a member, the Turkish state has used NATO for the massacres of Kurds and the violent suppression of the Kurdish people’s resistance and struggle for freedom. NATO was not only used, but actively supported. Most of the time this support was in the form of training, technical, intelligence, weapons; sometimes it was in the form of political and diplomatic approval of the occupation and massacre. In this sense, NATO is responsible for the bloodshed, massacre and genocide of the Kurdish people. This situation continues today as an active support to Erdoğan-Bahçeli fascism. It is responsible for the murder of our children and people who were brutally attacked in Bamernê.
If the free and patriotic Kurds win, the KDP will lose
Another group that the Turkish state utilizes and uses in its Kurdish genocide and massacre policy is the betrayer and collaborator Kurds. Today, the most active political actor of this betrayal and collaborationism is the KDP. It has undertaken and actively carries out the triggermanship in all its aspects with its military, political, diplomatic and lie-based special war propaganda. It sees the massacre of Kurds and patriots struggling for freedom as a guarantee for the continuation of its dynasty. With the feeling that if the free and patriotic Kurds win, it will lose its own dynasty, it has taken it as a duty to eliminate all the gains of the Kurds and massacre the Kurds. With this role, it has assumed a leading role in the Turkish state’s occupation of Iraq and Southern Kurdistan and is trying to legitimize the occupation. It has turned the massacres and genocidal attacks of the Turkish state into a policy of existence.
KDP tries to cover up the crime of collaboration
The KDP, squeezed and isolated in every aspect, is constantly looking for partners to cover up the crime of collaborationism. The KDP, which has turned betrayal into a political style in Southern Kurdistan, is making new plans to involve other Kurdish circles in this crime of betrayal. In the night hours when it tried to have the Turkish state shoot the children and blame them on the HPG, this time it attempted to attack the guerrilla areas in the Kani Masi region by joining the forces of the Peshmerga Ministry in front of the Turkish soldiers. We call on all relevant circles, especially the Peshmerga Minister and some of his officials, who are unaware of this incident, not to be a part of this game and to be sensitive to the plans and traps of the KDP. Otherwise, they themselves will become partners in the betrayal.
