BEHDINAN – PKK Executive Committee Member Murat Karayılan answered ANF’s questions.
In the first part of the interview, Karayılan stated the following:
We are moving from May, in other words, the month of martyrs, to June. June 1st is the 18th anniversary of the June 18 Movement. Under what historical conditions did this historical move develop and what does it mean? What is the role of the June 1st Breakthrough in your struggle?
I commemorate all the May martyrs in the person of Kasım Engin and his friends who were martyred with him. I bow to their memories with respect and reverence. Kasım Engin was many things for us, one cannot express it fully in words. But we are committed to the promise we made to them until the end. We will follow them. I can say that. Another friend Aysel Doğan, a valuable and important Kurdish revolutionary woman militant, was martyred in May. Hours before she was martyred, she sent us her greetings to the Zap resistance fighters. I commemorate Aysel Doğan with respect. She was a friend whom I also knew and whose work I followed. She was really a determined follower of Sakine Cansız. She was brave, principled; her place and stance will always be in our struggle. I will convey her greetings to the Zap resistance fighters. I would especially like to express my condolences to the family of Aysel Doğan. I thank them for conveying their greetings to us. I say Heval Aysel and all the martyrs of Kurdistan, may your hearts rest in peace! We will realize your dreams, your dreams. Rest assured, we will never leave your flag on the ground. We will avenge you and fulfill your holy goals and bring you to victory.
Right now, the June 1st breakthrough is an important step in the history of our struggle. We are now on its 18th anniversary. I congratulate Rêber Apo, all our people, our friends, all our workers and friends on the anniversary of the June 1st Breakthrough. I commemorate the June 1st Breakthrough in the person of Comrade Erdal, Commander Adil, Nuda, Çiçek and Reşit Serdar, and all the martyrs from Atakan Mahir to Delal Amed. I bow with respect in front of their memories. I reiterate once again the promise we made to those heroes. The June 1st Breakthrough has already marched in line with its own goals. And it played a historic role in our freedom struggle, in the Kurdish freedom struggle. In which period was the June 1st Breakthrough realized? How was it realized? You asked about that. It is known that there was an international conspiracy against our movement in the person of Rêber Apo, against Rêber Apo’s line. During the period when Rêber Apo was taken prisoner and handed over to Turkey by the international conspiracy, we wanted to increase and raise the struggle. We wanted to develop a great resistance. But Rêber Apo did not see this as appropriate, he took it as a basis to frustrate the enemy attacks. And he sent us such information. With his ingenious method and strategy, Rêber Apo frustrated the enemy’s breakthrough in the international arena. On this basis, we stopped the armed war on August 2, 1999 and continued it. Rêber Apo carried out political solution initiatives very strongly. Our movement also acted completely accordingly. We reduced the criteria for a solution to the most reasonable level for the development of a solution to the Kurdish issue within the borders of Turkey. But no matter how many declarations we issued, calls we made, work we did, our people worked, the Turkish state did not take any steps. Not only did it not take steps, it attempted to liquidate us. They developed liquidationism among us with a gang group. They wanted to liquidate us. They wanted to break away from the line of the leadership. They wanted to defeat our movement by spreading it over time. On the other hand, it hardened its approach not only towards us, but also towards the entire Kurdish issue. For example, at that time, the removal of the Kurdistan flag even in Duhok in Bashurê Kurdistan was a problem. “What rag is this?” they would say. They call the Kurdish flag a rag. They made relations with the rulers of Bashurê Kurdistan a red line. In other words, he wanted to achieve his genocide policy in general with the international conspiracy he developed to liquidate our movement. Against this, our movement searched for solutions. Rêber Apo put the reconstruction of the PKK on the agenda. Because the PKK had dissolved itself as a party for a general solution. KADEK was established in its place. But Rêber Apo once again established the PKK Reconstruction Committee. On that basis, the process was intervened. At the 2nd meeting of KONGRA-GEL, the decision for the June 1st Breakthrough was taken. This was also shared with the public. What was the decision? The decision was self-defense against enemy attacks. In other words, we told the enemy that you cannot liquidate us like that. We can defend ourselves, we can defend our values. On this basis, an ideological, cultural, social, political and military defense process was put into practice.
That is how the June 1st Breakthrough developed. It created many developments with itself. The enemy wanted to completely destroy our movement and the line of Rêber Apo with the international conspiracy. However, Rêber Apo’s stance in İmralı, the line he developed, the stance of our people, the stance of our friends who adhere to this line and our martyrs took the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle to a new stage with the June 1st Breakthrough. The stage of enlargement and glorification. In other words, our movement has grown even more. It became stronger in the four parts of Kurdistan. It has formed its own mass. It became more numerous. It became stronger in every sense. So in this way the international conspiracy was frustrated. Maybe the conspiracy was not completely defeated, but it was frustrated in this way. The August 15 Breakthrough brought the Kurdish issue to the table for a political solution. However, the Turkish state did not agree to a solution. That is why the June 1st Breakthrough came into effect. It was a decision, it played a historical role. During the June 1 process, the doors for a political solution were always open. There were always initiatives by Rêber Apo and our movement for this. Just as August 15th prevented extinction and meltdown and brought the Kurdish issue to the table, the June 1st Breakthrough developed very important initiatives for solution and liberation. And that phase continues today. So at this point, one can say that for 29 years, since 1993, Rêber Apo has been working and attempting for a political solution. So far, we have declared ceasefire 9 times in total. During this period, there were dialogues with the Turkish state. For about three years there were talks between the Turkish state and our delegations in Oslo under the observation of international delegations. The result of these talks reached a protocol. In 2011, the protocol agreed by both delegations was presented to the Erdoğan government. But then Erdoğan did not accept it and they declared war against us. At that time, AKP members talked about the method Sri Lanka used for the Tamils. They wanted to apply the Sri Lankan method on us. But they were blocked again. In other words, they fought, and at the end of 2012 they were blocked again. Again a ceasefire was put into effect. This time talks continued in İmralı for 2.5 years. They reached an agreement there too. The delegation of the Kurdish side and the delegation of the Turkish state sat in front of the cameras and read the content of that agreement and signed it. Then Erdoğan overturned the table in Dolmabahçe and refused to accept this agreement. They declared a comprehensive war against us on the basis of a new concept. What one should underline here is this. We are peace lovers, not war lovers. We want to solve the Kurdish issue through democratic means and methods. The Kurdish issue is a social, cultural and historical problem. This issue must be solved through dialog. Today there is war in Kurdistan because our enemy refuses to accept this problem and insists on the policy of annihilation and genocide. So this needs to be known. The war we are waging in Kurdistan is a war of existence and defense. And it is a war for freedom. We want to exist and live free in this land. This war is being waged on this basis. It is not us who are attacking, it is the Turkish state. It is not us, it is the Turkish state that wants to solve the issue through killing and bloodshed. We want the Kurdish issue to be solved in a fair way. But if they want to destroy us instead, of course we will defend ourselves to the end. This is what has been carried out so far. However, our June 1 Breakthrough was successful in this direction, the enemy was defeated. Because the international conspiracy has failed in every aspect. Today, more than ever, we are closer to a solution and freedom.
The war against your movement started with isolation. This is how you comment. Today the isolation on Leader Apo is getting worse. What can you say about this?
Yes, the war started with isolation. The war in Kurdistan today is a war for the genocide of the Kurdish people. This was started in Imrali in the first place. In other words, the psychological torture system in İmralı is the genocide system of the Kurdish people. It is like that. The war waged there against Rêber Apo and the friends there is essentially like that. Today, it is publicized as isolation, but one cannot say it only in terms of isolation. It is something heavy. There is no other example in the world.
Look, for 15 months no one has known about Rêber Apo and the 3 friends who were there. Our age is the age of telecommunications. There is telephone, internet, telegraph, mail. The Turkish state violates all universal laws and its own laws and does not allow any information to come from Rêber Apo. So there is no information for these 15 months. In other words, they do not allow information to be received with a telegram. They say that prisoners in Turkey have the right to phone, the right to see their lawyers and family members, where is that? What can you say to a state or regime if it violates universal humanitarian laws, moral laws, even the laws that it itself has enacted in İmralı! What kind of state is this? There is no law, no morality, no conscience, no order! Even tent states still have some laws. But these have no laws at all. All laws are Erdoğan’s. Of course, torture is being carried out there. It is clear that as long as the İmralı system exists, democracy, law and justice will not develop in Turkey. How can a state that practices lawlessness and injustice against the Kurdish people in the person of İmralı provide law and justice? It already does not exist. There is nothing! However, the bourgeois opposition, especially within the system, which says it wants democracy in Turkey, does not see this. That is why they cannot fight for a real democracy. Undoubtedly there are those who want democracy. There is a conference in Istanbul right now. A conference for peace against isolation. Who are these people? They are organizations that want democracy. They want justice to develop in Turkey and democracy to come. Because they have correctly identified that as long as there is isolation in Turkey, there can be no democracy. Then everyone who wants democracy must be against isolation. However, the opposition in Turkey lacks this approach. But as I mentioned, there are also valuable people who have organized this conference. I salute them and their initiative. Their stance is honorable indeed. However, if everyone in favor of democracy in Turkey wants fascism to disappear, if they want the values of democracy and justice to flourish, they must first oppose isolation. Not only isolation but also the system. They must be against this fascist genocidal system in İmralı. In other words, the path to the struggle for democracy goes through there a little bit. I believe that this truth is being seen and understood more in some circles. So the Imrali issue is Turkey’s democracy issue. The Kurdish issue is Turkey’s democracy issue. If people are hungry in Turkey today, if they cannot survive, it is because of this issue. Because this fascist genocidal regime is using all of Turkey’s assets in the war. That is why people go hungry. In other words, this system is the cause of the poverty that exists today. The fascist genocidal system is the system that is being carried out in İmralı today. People must struggle against it and change this system. As long as this system is not changed, democracy and justice will not develop in Turkey.
Today there is a fierce war between you and the Turkish state. What is the current state of the war? Again, what is the concept and purpose of the enemy?
Today there is a fierce war in Zap Avaşîn Metîna. There is an unequal war. I mean, one side is using tens of thousands of soldiers, tanks, artillery, airplanes, chemical weapons, all kinds of weapons. On the other side, the militants of the Kurdish people, the Kurdistan freedom guerrillas are resisting with their bombs and individual weapons. They are fighting against him. In this sense there is no equality. But what ensures equality? It creates will. What the guerrillas have is will, belief and the method used in the war. Since we have been fighting this war for 38 years, even though sometimes there are ceasefires, even though we want a solution through democratic peaceful methods, there is a brutal enemy, a tough, chauvinistic enemy against this. It is nationalist. He constantly wants to eliminate us. We have been fighting against this enemy for 38 years. Undoubtedly we also have some experience. We are fighting with new ways and methods. We are focusing on and developing ways and methods on how we can negate the enemy’s land and air technology and chemical technology. Otherwise no one would be able to stand there. Why is that? Because there is always bombardment. This is where they wear chemical suits and use chemicals. There is a dishonorable attack. There is a very sacred and historic resistance against it. One should know that there is faith, willpower, love for the homeland. There is faith in the homeland, in freedom, in democracy. There are human values. And there is savagery against it. There is brutality and the use of all kinds of dirty methods. Such is the state of war. In this respect, the enemy first targeted the Zap province, which we call the province, namely the Rêkanî and Nêrwe regions. It got stuck there. It lasted for a few days. Their soldiers died and the guerrilla counterattacked. There were casualties in the counterattacks in KuroJahro and Çiya Reş. There were many, many casualties. They got stuck there, and they were defeated in essence. So far they have not won, they have been defeated. They have not yet entered any area that the guerrilla does not want. In other words, they have not yet entered an area that would force the guerrilla, that would force its will. But they are intertwined in many places. There is war at bomb range.
It is a hard and heavy battle. I mean, I’m saying it here and now, it’s easy to say it with the mouth, but it’s not easy in practice. There are difficulties. It demands great sacrifices. Without this great sacrifice, it is not possible for such a thing to happen. So it is not something ordinary. Today it is entering its 44-45th day, it is impossible for an army to stand against the use of all the weapons of the age, even forbidden weapons. It is not such an easy thing. It has a context. This is not the place to say it. But after it was blocked, it turned the direction of the war to the west to Ava Ze, we call it Zap. Ava Zap. So there is Cudi hill, FM hill, Amedi hill. Our friends call it Hakkari Hill. It is the highest hill behind Amediye. He turned the war there. He also entered Metîna again. There has been a war for many days, but he is still in the place where he first landed the soldiers. He wants to advance but he always gets hit. I know that many of his helicopters are getting hit. Some of them are maybe crashing. But our procedure is like this, we don’t say what we don’t see with our eyes has crashed. There is the Cudi hill on the edge of Zap, the guys there shot down two Skorsky helicopters today. They say we hit one and smoke came out. There is an outpost near Çele on the border, it is a hill outpost. They say it went to that outpost and there was a huge explosion. So it is possible that it exploded, it was destroyed with its occupants. But he doesn’t say it was destroyed because he didn’t see it with his eyes. They say it was hit. That’s what they say. But these ones that we say were hit, maybe they go to their places and explode or are destroyed. Most of the people inside die. So I can say that the Turkish state suffers great damage in this war. But it does not publicize it. There are many dead. So it wants its people to die so that it can get results. Erdoğan-Bahçeli is doing this ruthlessness. They want the children of the Turkish people and the Kurdish people to be killed for their own power. They want to establish their power through blood.
MOST CHEMICALS ARE USED IN THIS WAR
In this war, chemicals are used the most. This is what they are focusing on now. For example, friends have identified 7 types of chemicals they have used so far. How do friends identify them? By color. For example, the color of the first one is black, like tar. It has that shade. The other one is yellow, yellow in color. It is that kind of gas. The third one is silver. It gives the silver color. The fourth is green. And it is odorless. It has no odor. Some have a smell, but this one has no smell. Another is brown in color. Another is red. It is like the smell of soap water. You can smell the water in which the clothes are washed. The last one is white in color. So we can only explain with colors. So it seems that various kinds of chemical gases are being used against us. He wants to get results with this. At the moment they are focusing on chemicals, they want to get results with chemicals. Therefore, the public, our people, human rights defenders, those who are against chemical weapons should take this into consideration. They should focus on it accordingly. In other words, this is an unfortunate enemy, that is, it wants to achieve results with chemicals. He has tens of thousands of soldiers, he has as much air and land power, but he does not have the will; he wants to achieve results with chemical weapons. So the state of the war is a bit like that. But we believe in ourselves and our ways and methods. The new method of warfare, which we call the 21st century method, we are applying this method and we believe in ourselves that we will frustrate all their weapons and defeat them. And in this we are determined to the end. The friends fighting there are determined to the end. Because we know that this is a fundamental and important issue for our people and the peoples of the region. We have said before that it is a war of existence and non-existence. We are taking risks, we are taking dangers, but we say that we will definitely stand against this enemy and defeat the enemy.
WHAT IS THE CONCEPT OF THE AKP-MHP GOVERNMENT
So the war is now. But you said what is its purpose, what is its concept. This is a really important issue in itself. We have been trying to explain this for 6 years. We have shared this with the political forces, especially the forces of Bashûrê Kurdistan. We have explained it to the public. What is it? In other words, the concept implemented by the Turkish state, the AKP-MHP government is not the old war concept. In other words, this state decided on a new war concept in 2016. What is this? They say that the Kurdish issue is the most important problem for the existence of the Republic of Turkey. Turkey has a survival problem there. To solve this problem, one must grow Turkey. One must expand Turkey’s borders up to the borders of Misak-ı Milli, which Turkey had claimed before but was not given to it by the Treaty of Lausanne. This is a concept. It should once again become a big state in the region like the Ottomans, that is, it should take Iraq, Syria and even Libya under its protection. In other words, it should lay claim to the Ottoman legacy. In such a way, they decided on a new concept. Now this decision is undoubtedly a great danger for the Kurdish people. So if it sees the existence of Kurds as a danger to itself, what should it do? It should subject them to basic genocide. What is genocide? It is either complete dissolution and Turkification or killing. Political, white genocide or physical genocide. There must be one nation. One nation is not enough, there must be one Turk. This is genocide. Once again, it is a danger and an attack on the Arab people and the peoples of the region. So this is the concept that the Turkish state is currently working on. This is not just Kemalism. This is the line of Union and Progress. They are already united over this. There are also Kemalists in it. But the idea is the idea of the Committee of Union and Progress, Turanism. Turanism. They want to make Turkism dominant everywhere. It is such a concept. At the moment this concept is not fully established. They also say this. For example, they say that they want to create a buffer zone south of our borders. Let’s make it 30 kilometers. For example, they don’t say only for Rojava Kurdistan. It says the southern borders. So Bashûrê Kurdistan is also in it. What is this? They want to create a line from Afrin, Aleppo to Sidekan, which will probably include Diyana, they say 30 km. We will make such a buffer. They say this officially. In other words, their unofficial language, which they use every day on TV, but we know that they are Erdogan’s comrades, they are advising the current government. What are they saying? They say that the borders of Misaki Milli must be occupied, there is no other way. It is our right. They see it as a right for themselves. They say that we should go there and occupy and take it. So this is no longer a secret. This is not our claim. It is their truth. They are walking on this concept. Now they are openly saying that we have already taken some places in Rojava and we will take other places as well. And what have they done in the places they have taken? What did they do in Afrin? They practiced genocide. They drove the Kurds out of there, they brought Arabs and Turkmens and settled them. They brought Arabs from Damascus and settled them. They settled gangs. Kurds and Arabs are now in alliance, they are brothers. But these are the gangs of Ikhwan-ı Muslim, ISIS, Al-Nusra. These are the forces that were placed in Afrin. They have divided the vineyards, gardens and properties of our people to themselves. Today they want to do the same thing in Bashur, Rojava Kurdistan. They think the same for Bashur. They already want to occupy Bashur in front of them. The danger in this regard is great and not ordinary. There is a danger in the Middle East today. What is the danger? It is the Turkish state danger, the AKP-MHP danger, the Young-Turkic danger. They want to renew and grow Turkey under the rule of the Young Turks and genocide other peoples. This is the real danger.
There is a silence against this concept both in the politics of Bashûrê Kurdistan and in the political circles in the fragments. What is the reason for this silence?
This is an important problem. It is true that there is a great silence. Undoubtedly, we consider ourselves responsible for the defense of all of Kurdistan. But there are also many circles outside of us. So today the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas have been fighting a very tough war against the enemy for a month and a half. In fact, it has been in it for 3 years. They want to occupy Bashur. First they want to occupy and then they want to establish their control over the whole of Bashur. This concept of the occupying Turkish state, as I said, is dangerous for the Kurdish people. It is a greater danger for Bashûrê Kurdistan. What is really needed in this age is that if the Turkish state is claiming rights over our country and wants to eliminate us, then we must be united. In this age when the new order is being designed in the light of both the aggression against the region and the developments in the world, we as Kurds must have a common strategy. In other words, even if there is no national unity, we must have a common strategy. There is a need for this, but unfortunately there is no such thing. I mean, there are some initiatives, but some circles do not take their responsibilities in this regard. Especially the government of Bashûrê Kurdistan has made its decision. In the past 6 years, we have discussed this with the KDP, which has decided in favor of Turkey, in other words, based on a partnership with Turkey. But is there only the KDP in Bashur, you cannot explain everything with the KDP and no one needs to keep themselves under the shadow of the KDP, there are other parties. Today, first of all, the status of Bashûrê Kurdistan is in danger. It is true, Bashûrê Kurdistan has other problems, it has problems with Baghdad, it has internal problems, they come together every day. We are in favor of unity, we want everyone to be united. Both the parts should be united within themselves and the whole Kurdistan should be united. We are not against that, but some things are being covered up here, so the real danger today is not coming from Baghdad, the real danger is coming from the Turkish state, from the Young Turks. This is the real danger for Bashûrê Kurdistan, this must be prevented, they don’t want to see this. In other words, there are some things happening in this regard that one cannot make sense of from a Kurdish perspective. I mean, how can a Kurd be so indifferent to this, so silent and just watch! So there is a danger in Kurdistan today, this understanding says “I am anti-PKK, I don’t want Rojava to gain status”, but it is basically anti-Bashur. Didn’t it say before “we were wrong, we didn’t oppose the status of Bashur”! This intention of Turkey is not unheard of. As they say, there was a deaf sultan in Seljuk times, and even he heard that the Turkish state’s intentions against the Kurds were bad, how could the Hewlêr administration not hear and see this? They do not stand against it and they have no reaction. It is really a great mistake. The point is that the Turkish state is using forbidden weapons against us. The Turkish state is killing our people, massacring civilians, terrorizing and persecuting us in every aspect. It only understands killing, it is a savage state, its intentions are evil. Its methods are brutal and terrorist methods. But we cannot explain this to the world as we wish. Why is that? First, the cooperation of the KDP. Cooperation with this brutal nationalist, Kurdish-hating mentality. Secondly, the silence of the politics of Bashûrê Kurdistan. They are also responsible, they are silent. On the one hand, it moves freely in Mosul and Kirkuk, has placed MIT everywhere, strengthened its intelligence, and shoots people everywhere. It wants to hide all this under the name PKK, but they cannot fool anyone. It is true that they are against the PKK because the PKK is defending this country. But in fact they are against all Kurds and all Kurdish gains, they want to eliminate the status of Kurds. This is the truth, and the stance of the politics of Bashur, the cooperation of the KDP and the silence of other circles prevent this face of the Turkish state from being seen, it is like a curtain. In other words, it is like pulling a curtain or a rug over the window to prevent you from seeing it. In this way, the Turkish state can easily enter Bashur, that is, it has not yet taken Shikefta Birindara, but it is building a road. If this enemy enters those strategic places, will he come out of there? Can you give an example of the Turkish state leaving a place it has entered? There is no such thing, the Turkish state will not come out of there.
If he takes these strategic places, tomorrow he will bring under his control these people who are now cooperating with him. Look at the history of Turkey, I suggest especially to politicians who cooperate with Turkey, read a little bit about the history of the Turkish state. In other words, from Mehmet the Conqueror to the present day, no matter how many Kurdish popular uprisings there have been, especially in Kurdistan, no matter how many Kurdish revolutions there have been, the Turkish state has mobilized many Kurds against these uprisings and liquidated these uprisings and then turned around and liquidated the Kurds who acted with it. There is the example of Dersim, did all of Dersim resist? No, five tribes resisted. Then the Turkish state exiled all of Dersim and genocided them all. The same thing happened with Sheikh Said, the same thing happened on Mount Ararat. In short, the Turkish state is like this. Tomorrow Turkey will come down on the throats of those who are currently acting together with it. This is the way it is, it is Turkey’s custom, but that is how they are acting right now. Look, we want to expose the Turkish state, we want to create public opinion that this is a bloodsucker, that it is invading our country, but the public reaction is insufficient. Why is that? There are initiatives by the KDP, they approve and cover it up. Other parties are also silent. A couple of days ago, Turkish planes bombed people who were going on a picnic, two of our children, who were only 10 years old, lost their lives in this bombing, they became young martyrs of the revolution. What did they say against this? ‘The PKK did it’, they said. It was not a news report by an ordinary reporter. The governor of Dohuk himself spoke, he said ‘the PKK did it’, the first level KDP official in Amediye spoke, he said many things in a disrespectful manner and said ‘this is the work of the PKK, the PKK threw mortars’. Shame on you! Shame on you! Is it up to you to cover up Turkey’s filth? This is not enough. A human being has honor, has a virtue. Is this how a governor should be?! Do we have the right to come there and shoot these people? Why should we shoot these people? Don’t we give our lives for this people? There is terrorism by the Turkish state everywhere, it is condoned, space is opened, cooperation is made. For example, now chemicals are a painful issue, they were used against Bashûrê Kurdistan before, they were used against people in Halabja, Behdinan and many other regions. People suffered a lot of damage and martyrs from chemical weapons. Isn’t it so? Chemical weapons are being used against us right now. In other words, chemicals are being used to affect the guerrillas, and our friends are being martyred with them! We want impartial delegations to come and investigate. Last year it was a bit far from the center of Avaşîn, but now it is happening in Kurojahro in Şeladizê, 2 km away from Derelok, the delegations can come there. But they don’t let the delegations go, if they did, the delegations would come there, but they don’t let them go. In other words, Turkey is committing crimes against universal principles, committing atrocities, committing filth, and they are drawing a curtain so that no one can see. So this is a really painful situation, it was not supposed to be like this. Therefore, I call on all Kurdistan politicians, especially the politics of Bashûrê Kurdistan, YNK, Gorran, Yekgirtu-Islam, Komeleya Dadveri, Hizbi Shiu-Kurdistan, Zahmetkeş, Tevgera Azadi and all political circles, stand up for your responsibilities against these practices, against this concept and dangerous deeds of Turkey. I call on all intellectuals of Bashûrê Kurdistan, do not remain silent and oppose the elimination of Kurdistan’s gains. Our call to the four parts of Kurdistan, for example Rojhılat Kurdistan is silent, if Bakurê Kurdistan, Bashûrê Kurdistan and Rojava are eliminated today, there will be no Rojhılat Kurdistan. The politicians of Rojhılat Kurdistan, Rojava Kurdistan, Bakur Kurdistan and Bashûrê Kurdistan must see the danger that exists in this era and they must approach it responsibly.
No one should cooperate, they should also take a stance against cooperation, they should seek a national stance. If we do not do this, if such a thing does not develop for the Kurdish people, the danger for the future of the Kurdish people is great. The Kurdish people need to see this, the important thing is to see this before anything happens. Therefore, a responsible approach is needed. Our call to all circles is that in this dangerous age, everyone should see the danger coming from the Turkish side and the seizure and occupation of Kurdistan’s land. We are not only calling, we are also practicing, we are giving our lives. We risk everything and resist against this enemy. These resistances must be seen. This is why we said the Zap resistance is important. Why? Because we know that if this concept of the enemy succeeds, no one can prevent it, and if the train sets off, no one can catch it. That’s why we are making a call, let’s catch up with it before it sets off, let’s stop it, let’s prevent this danger. Even if not, let us expose the true face of the Turkish state. Let’s not block the delegations, let’s not cover up Turkey’s filth, let’s not be a curtain for it. We are not asking you to help us, no, we are self-sufficient. If we and the Turkish state are alone on the battlefield, we are self-sufficient. But there is a very tough occupation and massacre against us, we say that this is a danger, let’s take a political stance against it, let’s take a national stance. We say that no one should cooperate with it, help it, be neutral. Patriots should defend the homeland, defend the homeland in the ideological, political and cultural spheres, and take a political stance. As the Kurdish nation, let’s stand against this bloodshed, against this hand-grabbing. This is our expectation, otherwise we are self-sufficient in war.
