BEHDÎNAN – The press center of HPG in its written statement on the current developments in the resistance areas of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla said:
“The resistance developed by our forces against the invasion operation of the colonial Turkish army with the apoist militant spirit continues uninterruptedly. The Turkish occupation army, which has suffered heavy blows from the guerrillas of the Kurdistan Freedom, the resistance carried out with boundless self-sacrifice under the most difficult conditions, continues to commit war crimes through the intensive use of chemical weapons against the resistance areas. Despite the use of all dirty war methods, three occupiers were punished and one occupier was injured as a result of the effective actions developed by our forces with great determination.
The details of the actions taken are as follows;
IN THE ZAP REGION;
On 05 May at 15:15, the occupants around Girê Şehid Harun’s fighting positions in Kurojahro resistance area were fired upon by our forces with a coordinated guerrilla action from two sides. As a result of this action, 1 occupier was punished and 1 occupier was injured.
On 05 May, at 12:00 and 13:30, the occupiers in Girê Şehid Armanc in Çiyareş resistance area were attacked by our forces with assassination tactics and fired at twice, and two occupiers were punished.
On 05 May at 12:30, the invaders in the Martyr Şahin Resistance Area were attacked by our forces with heavy weapons. The targets set in this action were hit accurately.
At 01:30 on 04 May, two attack helicopters that came over the KDP-controlled areas to bomb the Kurojahro resistance area were attacked by our forces. As a result of the intervention of our forces, attack helicopters had to leave the area.
On 05 May, between 13:30 and 12:30, the fighting positions in Şahin and Kurojahro Martyrs’ Resistance Areas were heavily bombed with chemical weapons. On the same day, Girê Şehid Cûdî and Girê Ortê fighting positions in Karker resistance zone were bombed with war explosives and chemical weapons.
The drone of the invading KDP was shot down
On 04 May at 17:30, a drone was taken off from the KDP base in Bakırman sub-district of Akrê district and sent over the guerrilla points in Garê region. This drone, which was sent for military reconnaissance, was shot down by our forces. The place where this drone fell was bombed twice by Turkish warplanes at 04:00 on 05 May with the aim of completely destroying the fallen drone.
The attacks of the Turkish occupation army on Medya defense areas continue uninterruptedly. The details of the bombardments with fighter jets, attack helicopters and howitzers are as follows:
On 05 May at 19:35 and on 06 May at 01:00, the slopes of Derîyê Hirçê in the Garê region were bombed with combat aircraft.
On 05 May, the Girê Cûdî area in the Zap region was bombed at night by attack helicopters and twice by combat aircraft.
On 05 May at 17:00, the slopes of Girê Şekîf in Xakurkê region were bombed by howitzers fired from police stations on the border line.
At 12:30 on 05 May, the Werxelê area in the Avaşîn region was bombed with gunships.
On 05 May between 20:30 and 22:00 in Zap region, Martyr Şahin, Kurojahro, Martyr Harun, Martyr Cûdî, Şikefta Birîndara, Karker, Girê Cehennem, Çiyareş and Çemço howitzers fired from the police stations on the border line, attack helicopters and 9 It was bombed once by fighter jets.
