The statement said: “The Kurdistan Freedom Fighters continue their activities in the spirit of Apoyi’s sacrifice against the occupiers. At the initiative of our YJA Star forces, strong activities were held to greet the 18th anniversary of the June 1st Step. As a result of these actions a Skorsky type helicopter was shot down, a drone was destroyed, 12 occupants were punished, 6 occupants were injured and a mob camera system was destroyed. Also our YJA Star forces with a great spirit of attack went to the corpses of the invaders, 2 MPT guns, 2 revolvers, a detonator and 2 chargers of these detonators, telephone, 2 telephone sets, 2 lanterns, 4 mines ready for explosion, a camera on the head is confiscated, a military bag and living materials were seized. ”
Detailed information of the activities is as follows:
IN THE AVASHIN AREA;
- On 28 May, between 08:00 and 14:40 hours, against the occupiers who wanted to drop bombs on the Werxel Resistance Area with chemical weapons and explosives, 3 times with personal weapons, 2 times with heavy weapons and 2 times by means of sabotage our forces took action. As a result of this strong intervention the occupiers were forced to withdraw to a certain level.
IN THE ZAP AREA;
- At 08:00, 14:00 and 18:40 on 27 May, a Skorsky-type helicopter attempted to deploy its forces around the battle positions on Martyr’s Hill at Cudi Hill Resistance Area. Our YJA Star forces inflicted heavy casualties on the helicopter and the downed helicopter tried to reach the Girê station in the Çele district of Hakkari and plunged into the Ze River, where it was destroyed.
- At 16:40 on 28 May at the FM Hill Resistance Area, our forces attacked the occupiers around the battlefields. As a result one invader was punished, the remaining invaders also dispersed in the area in panic.
- A drone was shot down by our YJA Star forces on 28 May at 09:00 in the Wounded Cave Resistance Area.
- On 28 May at the Şehid Şahin Resistance Square, 3 occupiers who wanted to go to the battle positions at Berehid xwedahin were controlled by our YJA Star forces and then sabotaged. As a result the occupier who was punished fell off the cliff. Our forces attacked other invaders with individual weapons. Our forces went to the bodies of these invaders and seized 2 MPT weapons, 2 revolvers, a revolver, 2 chargers of these revolvers, a telephone, 2 telephone cards, 2 flashlights, 4 mines in front of the explosion, a camera on the head, a military bag and vital supplies. At 16:00 on the same day, our forces launched a coordinated operation from 3 battalions against the occupiers who wanted to fight near the positions. As a result 4 invaders were punished, 3 invaders were injured. The occupiers, who bombed the area with heavy weapons after the action, wanted to move forward again. Our forces attacked the occupiers once again and as a result of this second action with sabotage tactics 2 occupiers were punished, 3 occupiers were also wounded.
- As a result of these strong actions of our forces, which were carried out in the spirit of the high attack of Apoyi, 9 occupiers were punished and 6 occupiers were wounded. Also seized were 2 MPT assault rifles, 2 revolvers, a rifle and 2 rounds of ammunition, a telephone, 2 telephone cards, 2 flashlights, 4 grenades, a camera mounted on the head, a military bag and ammunition.
IN THE METINA AREA;
- On 28 May at 07:00 hours in the Resistance Square of Hakkari Hill, our forces acted with individual weapons against the occupiers who were moving around the battle positions in Zehid Zemani. 2 occupants were punished as a result of the action.
- At around 22:30 on 25 May, a mobesse camera system was destroyed by our forces at Coordinate Hill.
ATTACKS WITH CHEMICAL WEAPONS
- Attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives;
- On 28 May, the areas of Şehid Şahin, Berehid Berxwedan, Girê Hewehid Hewrê, Girê Cehennemê and Şikefta Birindara were bombed 34 times with chemical weapons and explosives in the Zap region.
AIR AND GROUND ATTACKS
- The occupier Turkish army carried out attacks with howitzers, attack helicopters and warplanes:
- On 28 May, in the Zap region, the areas of Şehid înahin, Kurojahro, Harehid Harun, Tehit Tolhildan, Girê Cehennemê, Çiyareş, Şikefta Birindara, Çemço, Girê Cudi, Girê FM, Girê Amediyê and Karker were attacked by helicopters and from the border. were bombed hundreds of times and 27 times by warplanes.
- On 28 May, the Hakkari Hill Resistance Area in the Metin area was bombed by obus at border posts.
- “On 28 May at 11:00 hours, warplanes bombed four times in the Avaşin area of the Werxel Resistance Area.”
