BEHDÎNAN – The Press and Information Office of the HPG stated that despite the fact that the occupying Turkish army is using all the possibilities of technology in the Zap and Avaşin Resistance Areas, it has not been able to achieve any results. The HPG said 10 occupiers had been punished for their guerrilla activities.
The HPG issued a statement regarding the guerrillas’ activities:
IN THE AVASHIN AREA
-On 18 May at 17.00 hours the occupiers wanted to bombard the Werxel Resistance Areas with chemical weapons. Our forces fired heavy weapons at these invaders. As a result of this action the occupiers were forced to withdraw a step.
-On 18 May, between 11:00 and 18:00 hours, the occupying Turkish army bombarded the Werxel Resistance Area 11 times with chemical weapons and explosives.
IN THE ZAP AREA
-On 18 May at 20:00, our forces attacked the occupiers around the battlefields of Hell Hill near the Ciyareş Resistance Area. On 19 May at 12.00 hours while the occupiers were in motion, our forces fired hand grenades and personal weapons at the occupiers. Here 2 invaders were wounded.
-On 18 May at 12.30 the occupiers attempted to bombard the battle positions of the Resistance Area of the Wounded Cave with explosives. Our forces attacked the invaders with individual weapons and here 2 invaders were punished.
-On 19 May at 04.50 hours the occupiers tried to place explosives on the battlefields of the Resistance Area of the Wounded Cave. Our forces attacked these invaders and 2 invaders were punished in this action.
-On 19 May at noon our forces fired heavy weapons at the occupiers in the Resistance Area of the Wounded Cave.
– In our statement of 19 May; we shared information that the bodies of the occupiers in the Resistance Area of the Wounded Cave are under the control of our forces. The occupiers who wanted to go to the battlefields in the Wounded Cave Resistance Area on May 19 from 10.30 to 07:00 and receive their bodies. These invaders were targeted one by one by our forces and 3 invaders were punished. The corpses of the invaders are partly under the control of our forces. The invaders who wanted to attack at 15:30 on the same day were targeted with individual weapons and here 3 invaders were punished.
– On 19 May at 16:00, the battle positions in the Resistance Area of the Wounded Cave were bombed twice by the occupiers with explosives and chemical weapons.
– On 19 May at 06:45 and 09:45 the occupiers who wanted to advance towards the battlefields of the Martyrs Revenge of the Kurojahro Resistance Area were targeted 3 times by our forces. There were also occasional clashes. As a result of the actions of our forces, the invaders were unable to advance and retreat a step back.
On 19 May, between 21:15 and 22:00 hours, the occupying Turkish army bombarded the areas of Harehid Harun and Dehid Didar in the Kurojahro Resistance Area, and the movement of helicopters took place here.

ATTACKS COTINUES
Details of the attacks are as follows:
– On 19 May, Amediye Hill, Cudi Hill, FM Hill, Harehid Harun in Zap region. The areas of Çemço, Rençbir Axa Village and Dehid Didar were bombarded with howitzers, attack helicopters on the border line and 15 times with warplanes.
– On 19 May, stations on the border line of Hakkari Hill in the Metin area were bombarded with obus and 9 times by warplanes.
“On May 19, obus were bombarded from stations on the border with Girê Şekîf in the Xakurk region.”
