ISTANBUL – A series of actions were carried out in Istanbul by the Martyr Devrim Zerdeşt unit of the Revolutionary Youth Movement. While it was stated that the invading Turkish state and its supporters were greatly harmed in the actions carried out, it was noted that the actions developed within the framework of the “Li dijî ixanet u dagirkerîyê werin cenga azadîyê bikevin nav mobilization Çalakîyê” operation.
Announcing the actions with a written statement, the unit pointed out that the actions would continue.
The full statement is as follows:
“Our DGH Martyr Devrim Zerdeşt unit was sabotaged by our units on 24.05.2022, and a 4-storey furniture factory located in the Mimar Sinan neighborhood, a fascist street in Sultanbeyli, was set on fire. Explosions occurred with the fire that spread to the panels, and the factory turned into ashes and became unusable.
On 27.05.2022, in the morning hours, a junkyard warehouse located on Ümraniye Ordu street was set on fire by our units with sabotage. After our action, the warehouse turned into ashes. Material damage has been incurred.
For whatever reason, our actions are being served as “for an unknown reason” by the private war media, it is clear that they will continue to incur the wrath of the unknown.
The invading, denial Turkish state, which is our historical enemy, continues to increase the attacks against our lands and our people with each passing day. The fierce fascist state, which struggles like a wounded snake, cannot hold on to the Kurdistan guerrillas by not recognizing the morality of war at all. For days, Zapa has been in a position that neither can enter nor leave, it has been hit by the guerrilla mace. When these attacks are inconclusive, Rojava continues to try its genocidalism on the Kurdish people by using blackmail. We will continue our actions within the framework of the “Li dijî ixanet û dagirkerîyê Werin Cenga Azadîyê” move, join the mobilization move stronger and march to victory with the youth who defend their society and country.
Honorable, conscientious and honest Kurdistan youth should neither sleep comfortably nor should they sleep comfortably!”
