BEHDÎNAN – One of the Commanders of the Revolutionary Guards of the Zagros Basin, Siyabend Dalaho, condemned the occupier attacks of the Turkish state and the betrayal of the PDK.
Dalaho stated that the Turkish state uses all kinds of technology but still its attacks have been defeated and reacted by showing the role of the PDK.
ATTACKED BY PLANES NIGHT AND DAY
Siyabend Dalaho’s assessment is as follows: “In the person of my friends istanaristan, Viyan, Agir, Fedaka and vanervan who were martyred during the operation, I remember all the martyred comrades. I reiterate my promise that we will continue their struggle to the end.
An operation was reportedly launched on 17 April. Our party leadership evaluated the ideological, political and philosophical aspects of this operation. It would be better for us to evaluate it militarily. In this case the two battle lines are fighting against each other. One is NATO at the forefront of a state-of-the-art military line that is self-reliant and has modern technology. The other is self-reliant and has a line of defense of the people. In recent years, as we also call it, the line of democratic modernity. These two lines have been waging a great war against each other for 40 years and have important data on the magnitude of war in the history of mankind. But especially after 2015 the war spread to many areas. Our state of Zap also had this war always on our agenda. This war between us has always been felt.
Especially after 2017 the war was deeper, in 2021 when the enemy wanted to operate, part of our state was also in that frame. We knew that 2022 would be a very different year, the enemy would have already invaded our entire state. In this regard, we assessed the situation and made preparations. We had little estimate of the scope of the operation, with local data we knew such an attack would be launched. In this regard we have entered into preparations. Public opinion knows the operation as it was on April 17 but the operation started on April 14. With 50 planes three days and three nights, including Avaşin, all of Zap was bombed with warplanes, reconnaissance planes and obus.
It would be better to specify the start date of the operation in this way. The enemy did not announce this and wanted to continue the covert operation. We were in a fighting position. After the enemy attack brought troops from the ground and air, this also defined the scope of the operation. There is a balance for those three days but one can say the real situation is more than that and the number of planes was even higher. All our areas were bombed by warplanes but nothing happened to our forces.
EVERY TIME THEIR ATTACKS WERE BREAKED
On 17 April, warplanes and helicopters attacked all areas and launched an occupation operation. Before that all our forces, according to it, positioned themselves. Because we knew the preparations had already reached a critical stage, it was not difficult for us to welcome the operation. On all the hills in our hands, the war began. Skorsky helicopters could not put the hill in our hands. With the help of cobras they tried to get soldiers from the Scorks but each time our friends gave in to them.
For friends we could not use the techniques at hand looking for war planes, but they also did not succeed. In the early days the troops could not be deployed to the area. As far as I understand, the enemy also explains this. Especially from Sheladiz on the Kurojahro line they entered the field from the ground. Turkish troops entered the Kurojahro area on foot from areas controlled by the PDK. Our teams on the field gave in to the enemy soldiers and the enemy is still in place. Wants to get close to the tunnels of battle. Wants to go back to the areas our friends gave them. Use strong technology for this. Placing friends in places to be able to create opportunity for movement on their own. In some places, even if they have movement, our friends are fighting against the enemy in all areas and in many places our friends are attacking the enemy. The enemy said in their press ‘The first stage was complete’ it would be better for people to evaluate the opposite.
ONE OF OUR TUNNELS DID NOT COME TO THE ENEMY
It is clear that the plan did not succeed in the first place. As a province, that was our first plan. The enemy operation was responded to as we wished and the continuation of this battle was understood to have taken place. In this sense it is appropriate to read this word of the enemy backwards. There are almost always clashes on the Ertuş and Kurojahro lines and most of them are led by our friends. The enemy has fought near some hills and tunnels. The enemy has not captured any of our battle tunnels, instead trying to bring their bodies closer to our tunnels. In this sense the two-pronged tactic of our party, the Center for the Defense of the People; tunnel and land warfare have both proven their validity and have been successful in current practice. It is a repeat success. It would be right to recognize it as a continuation of 2021.
This war is not an easy war. The public, our people, our friends should know this again. A fierce struggle continues. The enemy insists on occupation. In this sense, it is clear that it will be difficult. It is understood to have mobilized with all its might. Against this, the self-sacrificing spirit of Apoyi means a great war in the name of freedom. This is the situation on the ground.
If we talk about the war so far in 11 days, this is a very high situation. This can be expressed in the spirit of the highest sacrifice, the military sect and the love of freedom that the PKK guerrillas have shown. In some places our comrades have fought against the technique of the enemy and their dirty breath on our soil. At times our friends resisted to the end and defended their tunnels. For example, a few days ago, our friends went to 7 enemy bodies in the area of Çiyareş. On the other hand, our female comrades in Kurojahro attacked the enemy soldiers who wanted to enter the area. Of course it is a serious war, there are rewards to it. As I mentioned their name at the beginning, many of our friends were martyred, but in the end we see success. The reality of our current strategy and our decisive tactics has emerged from today. It also gives signs of success for the future. Wars are determined by their consequences. How it serves can be understood by general strategies. It turned out that the current practice of warfare gradually determines the strategic success of our freedom movement. In this sense we declare that we will not back down in any way and as a state we will do whatever is necessary against all the tendencies of the enemy. We draw strength from this from our Leader, our martyrs and our young comrades, who are now in the head, in the tunnels and on the ground with great enthusiasm and confidence against the enemy, attacking with great enthusiasm and confidence. We are proud of that.
‘WE HAVE NO MORE PATIANCE AGAINST PDK’
The PDK on the other hand is also part of this war. Of course, in a concrete word, we saw that the Turkish soldiers crossed our territories from the hill where our people of the South were stationed, by vehicle or on foot. It is a sign that the PDK is part of the current war. Our position on this issue is clear. Of course all the cadres as party fighters are also bound by the general policies of our movement. Again our party is committed to the efforts of national unity, formulating its daily policies according to the results. We as cadres make all kinds of sacrifices, but it should be known that as Kurdish guerrillas and Apoyi sacrifices we are at the end of our tolerance. In this sense my advice is not to face us too much. I am now thinking about how in Kurojahro, ladeladize etc. we fight live, we watch. Everyone knows how full of hands and achievements we are. If there is such a unity, let it take place on the front line with the Turkish state, with the fascist masses, not behind the others. If not let them know and we will state our position accordingly.
CALL ON YOUNG PEOPLE AND PEOPLE
In the current war we are taking our greatest strength from our people. We follow; Our people are always sacrificing for freedom. For these people everything is precious. We hope that our people will become even more involved in this struggle, strongly expressing that they stand by our young daughters and sons everywhere and respond strongly with their actions.
Young Kurds must take up arms and take their place in these ranks. Every Kurdish youth must take part in this struggle for freedom. The current situation imposes this on all young people. In any case, it is the Kurdish youth who are waging this war.
We respectfully bow our heads to all our martyrs of the revolution, we will keep our promise to them until the end.”
