BEHDÎNAN – The HPG Press Liaison Center stated the following regarding the details of the actions to salute the 18th anniversary of the June 1st Movement:
“The effective actions of our forces to salute the 18th anniversary of the June 1st Movement continue. Unable to break the historic resistance developed by the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, the fascist Turkish army bombed the battle positions of our forces hundreds of times with howitzers, 28 times with chemical weapons and 34 times with warplanes.
As a result of the actions carried out by our semi-mobile teams with superior combat performance and high Apoist sacrificial spirit; 44 invaders were punished, 2 invaders were injured, 1 helicopter was heavily hit, 3 mobesse camera systems and 1 thermal camera were destroyed.
By going over the bodies of the occupying soldiers of the Turkish army, who constantly concealed their losses; 1 MPT-66 weapon and 2 magazines, 3 MPT-55 individual weapons, 1 BKC weapon chain and 470 bullets, 2 packs of pistol bullets, 1 pistol magazine, 1 B-7 rocket, 20 kg of explosives, 10 meters of fuse, detonator, 1 mine detonation device, 3 military bags, 1 thermal camera, 1 night scope, 1 laser spotter, 4 daytime binoculars, 4 grenade launcher rounds, 1 machete, 2 cell phones (1 phone belongs to Uğur Doğru), 1 head camera, 1 compass, 1 portable solar panel and many life and health supplies were seized. The dishonest Turkish army, which deceives the Turkish and world public opinion with false information, is trying to cover up its historical defeat in this way. However, our guerrilla forces have exposed these lies in a concrete way, and have identified the identities of the invaders whose bodies were seized: senior sergeant Yunus Eylik, specialist sergeant Ali Taşkın (Siirt Commando Brigade), specialist sergeant Mevlüt Çetin, specialist sergeant Ahmet Akpınar and Uğur Doğru.
In the clashes, our comrades Hêzil, Laşer and Seren fought sacrificially and reached martyrdom.
The details of the actions developed by our comrades who fought on the line of victory with the Apoist sacrificial spirit are as follows;
ZAP REGION
Martyr War in the framework of the Maraş Revolutionary Movement;
- On May 30, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the fighting positions of Girê FM Resistance Area were pursued by our forces. The invaders under control were shot with an attack action by our semi-mobile YJA Star teams at 12:55 pm. Our teams, who went on the invaders with a high Apoist attack spirit, struck a big blow with individual weapons and grenades. Our YJA Star forces, who punished 10 invaders, went over the bodies of 4 invaders and confiscated 3 MPT-55 individual weapons, 3 military binoculars, 1 laser pointer and a cell phone belonging to an invader named Uğur Doğru.
- On May 30, between 11:40-16:00, our forces shot the invaders around the fighting positions of Girê FM Resistance Area 9 times with assassination tactics. As a result of these actions, 8 invaders were punished and 1 invader was wounded.
- 18 invaders were punished and 1 invader was wounded in these effective actions and the bodies of the invaders remained under the control of our forces for a long time. The fascist Turkish army, which received a heavy blow, was able to remove its losses from the area at night after intensively bombarding the area.

- On May 29 at 08:00, our forces shot down the invaders who wanted to bombard the fighting positions of the Karker Resistance Area with explosives. After the intervention of our forces, the invaders fled leaving 20 kg of explosives they brought with them. This explosive was confiscated by our forces.
- On May 30 at 14:30, 1 mobesse camera system placed by the occupying Turkish army in the Şehîd Şahîn Resistance Area was destroyed by our forces.
- On May 30, between 08:30-18:00, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the fighting positions in Karker Resistance Area were shot by our YJA Star forces with sabotage and assassination tactics. As a result of these actions, 2 invaders were punished.
- On May 30 at 23:00, the attack helicopter that wanted to bomb the Shikefta Birîndara Resistance Area was targeted by our forces. The helicopter, which was heavily hit, was shot down again by our forces as it tried to move away from the area. A big explosion occurred in the direction of the helicopter that wanted to go towards the Xeregol area and the area was heavily bombed by warplanes.
IN THE METÎNA REGION
In the context of the Cenga Xabûr Revolutionary Movement;
- On May 27 at 20:30, the invaders around the Girê Şehîd Şoreş battle positions in the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were hit from two arms with raid and infiltration tactics after being taken under control by our forces. The first action branch targeted the invaders with grenades and individual weapons and punished 6 invaders. The second action branch targeted the invaders from close range and punished 8 invaders. The invaders who wanted to intervene in the action area were also shot by our forces with assassination tactics and 4 more invaders were punished.
- During this action where 18 invading Turkish soldiers were punished, our comrades Laşer and Hêzil, who went against the invaders with the Apoist militant spirit and fought sacrificially, reached martyrdom. Our comrades, who defended the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area from the first moment of the invasion attack and dealt heavy blows to the enemy, pioneered our resistance by walking on the line of victory. The detailed identity information of our comrades Laşer and Hêzil, who are distinguished examples of the spirit of attack and the sacrificial militant line, will be shared with our people later.
- On May 28, the invaders moving around the Girê Şehîd Şoreş battle positions in the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were shot by our forces in a raid action. At least 3 invaders were punished and 1 invader was wounded in this action carried out by our forces with lightning speed.
- Our comrade Seren, who was in the attack column during the action and struck the first blow to the invaders, reached martyrdom in the clashes. Our comrade Seren, the sacrifice fighter of the YJA Star militant line, participated in many actions at the leading level and dealt heavy blows to the invaders. Detailed identity information of our comrade Seren, a determined fighter of the fedayeen line, will be shared with our people later.
- On May 30 at 13:40, a group of invaders around the Girê Şehîd Zemanî war positions in Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were targeted and shot by our forces with individual weapons and 3 invaders were punished.
- On May 30 at 08:40, 1 mobesse camera system and 1 thermal camera placed by the occupying Turkish army in the Girê Azad strait were destroyed by our forces.
- In our statement dated May 30, we shared the information that on May 29 at 17:30, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the Girê Şehîd Zemanî fighting positions of the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were effectively hit by our forces, 11 invaders were punished and 2 invaders were wounded in this action.
- Our forces went over the bodies of 9 invaders during the action; It has been clarified that non-commissioned senior sergeant Yunus Eylik, specialist sergeant Ali Taşkın (Siirt Commando Brigade), specialist sergeant Mevlüt Çetin and specialist sergeant Ahmet Akpınar were punished. These invaders were carrying 1 MPT-66 weapon and 2 magazines, 1 BKC weapon chain and 470 bullets, 2 packs of pistol bullets, 1 pistol magazine, 1 B-7 rocket, 10 meters of fuse, detonator, 1 mine detonation device, 3 military bags, 1 thermal camera, 1 night binoculars, 1 day binoculars, 4 grenade launcher ammunition, 1 bayonet, 1 cell phone, 1 head camera, 1 compass, 1 portable solar panel and a large number of life and health equipment were seized.
IN XAKURKÊ REGION
Within the framework of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Movement;
- On May 28 at 08:30, the invaders in Girê Şehîd Axîn were targeted with heavy weapons by our YJA Star forces and the targets were hit with accuracy. On May 29 at 17:00, 1 mobesse camera system placed by the occupying Turkish army around Girê Şehîd Axîn was destroyed by our forces.
ATTACKS CONTINUE
- Attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives;
- On May 30, Girê Şehîd Berxwedan, Şehîd Hewrê, Karker, Girê Cehennem areas in Zap region and Werxelê Resistance Area in Avaşîn were bombed 28 times with chemical weapons and explosives.
- Attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish army with howitzers, attack helicopters and warplanes;
- On May 30, Girê Cûdî, Şehîd Şahîn, Kunîşka, Kurojahro, Girê Ortê, Girê Cehennem and Şehîd Harûn areas of the Zap region were bombed hundreds of times with attack helicopters and howitzers fired from the outposts on the border line and 25 times with warplanes.
- On May 30, the areas around the villages of Serarû, Dêşîşê, Êdînê and Girê Hakkarî in the Metîna region were bombed with attack helicopters and howitzers fired from outposts on the border line. On May 31 at 09:50, the area around Bêşîlî village was bombed 3 times by warplanes.
- On May 30, Werxelê Resistance Area in Avaşîn region was bombed with howitzers fired from outposts on the border line and 6 times with warplanes.”
