NEWS CENTER – KJK Coordination Member Beşe Erzînncan spoke to ANF and expressed his dissatisfaction with the severe isolation of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan.
Erzîncan stated that there has been severe isolation and torture against People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan since 1999 and said, “We have always been in the line of resistance against this. We have made the physical freedom of our Leader the center of our activities and endeavors. The main agenda of our meeting is what we can do for the physical freedom of our Leader. The terms on our Guide have been weighted since 2015. Meeting bans were a systemic thing. Lastly it is stated that the meeting with the Leader has been banned for 6 months. By isolating ourselves from our Leader, we want to weaken our struggle for freedom. But our leadership has given us perspectives on freedom long ago. Whatever happens we will accomplish these things.
Women, youth and the Kurdish people are showing more resistance than ever for the realization of the physical freedom of our Leader, for a dignified and free life. Thousands of our comrades in prisons showed great resistance. We respectfully salute the resistance in the prisons of our comrades.In the most difficult conditions, the line of Mazlum Dogan and Kemal Pir is represented.
Our resistance is represented by our comrades in prisons and by guerrillas in Zap and Avaşin. In Zap, with the greatest resistance in the history of the Kurds, a war is being waged to drive the enemy out of Kurdistan.
The Turkish state is waging a war against the guerrillas and the Kurdish people in such a way that the consequences of this war have more consequences than the war between Russia and Ukraine. The historical, geographical, political and ideological aspects of the Kurdistan Revolution have a great impact on the region and the world.
In the Russia-Ukraine war the hegemonic powers are fighting against each other on the one hand, and on the other hand waging a comprehensive war against the freedom fighters. Fear of an anti-capitalist solution and solution. Because the PKK also represents an alternative and new system, it becomes a target of hegemonic powers. This is why the Turkish state’s policy of genocide against the Kurdish people has always been supported and it is demanded that the just struggle of the Kurdish people not be seen. We urge the leadership, our freedom movement and our people, to hope for the liberation of humanity and women.”
PROHIBITED WEAPONS ARE USED AGAINST THE GUERRILLA
KJK Coordination Member Beşe Erzîncan also commented on the attacks on the Media Protection Areas on April 17, saying, “The Turkish state launched an occupier attack on April 17, 2022, despite the cooperation and betrayal of the PDK. The Turkish state attacked Avaşin, Zap and Metin in 2021 with such a plan, but the resistance of the HPG and YJA Star guerrillas really came. I respectfully remember the friends who were martyred in this war. I salute the Zap and Avaşin guerrillas, especially all the HPG and YJA Star forces fighting on the front lines. I congratulate the HPG and YJA Star guerrillas for their successful activities.
The fascist Turkish state is trying to overcome what it could not achieve in 2021 with extensive attacks in 2022. There is more advanced technology, intelligence, foreign aid and support for the PDK this year. The Turkish state is attacking the Kurdish guerrillas with the most advanced technology. Uses prohibited chemical gases. The world is silent. Because the US, Israel, Britain, Germany, France and many other countries are in favor of this war against the Kurds. The same forces are responsible for the occupation, division and destruction of Kurdistan. The global hegemonic system wants to maintain its existence over the domination of the Middle East.
TURKEY WANTS TO OCCUPY THE MIDDLE EAST
The attack of the Turkish state on Zap and Avaşin is not only for the elimination of the PKK and the freedom struggle of the Kurdish people. Strategic steps are also being taken to occupy the Middle East and to practice the new Ottoman ideals. Turkish racism wants its historical existence and its policy of dissemination to happen that way. After the genocide of the Kurdish people, it wants to exterminate the Arab, Persian, Armenian, Assyrian, Yazidi, Turkmen, Circassian and other peoples and thus assert its sovereignty. They want water, oil, underground mines, wheat and the human strength of the Middle East. put the basics under your control.
The MHP is leading the alliance between the AKP and the PDK, which attacks the Kurdish people, beliefs and women. The MHP is a murderous force and the DYE created it. The fascist concept of the MHP is put into practice by the actions of the AKP and the MHP. At the root of these attacks is the oppression of the forces of freedom and democracy and they want to enslave more people and women.
This is why the Turkish state’s attack on Zap is of strategic importance and hence the name of the operation ‘Kilit’. The Turkish state has re-planned and wants to defeat the occupiers who did not succeed in 2021. It has prepared its war against the Kurdish guerrillas in 2022 on this basis.
Because the resistance of our Leader, guerrillas and women to all the crises of humanity becomes the answer and our ideology of freedom becomes the answer and a universal line. The global hegemonic powers provided all kinds of support to the Turkish state in order to prevent the disintegration of the democratic confederal system.
This war means the highest level in our history in the resistance against the Turkish state. The year 2022 may be a year of self-defense in which our guerrillas and women show a great deal of resistance.
In Zap and Avaşin the guerrillas responded with a spirit of resistance and action. In the most unjust conditions of the world our friend responded with great sacrifice and courage. The HPG and YJA Star forces are in a state of great resistance. “Our people, women, the forces of freedom and democracy must unite around the guerrillas of Kurdistan and develop the struggle.”
PDK PLAYS IMPORTANT ROLE TO AKP FOR ITS POWER
KJK Coordinating Member Beşe Erzînncan stated that the PDK is deepening its betrayal and cooperation day by day and said, “It is not only against the Kurds, but also against the freedom of the people of the region, faith and women.
There is no agenda for the liberation of the Kurdish people and the status of the Barzani family. They have sacrificed the land and freedom of the Kurdish people to strengthen their interests. The Barzani family knows that many tribes in Behdinan are against it. This is why the Turkish state has given many mountainous areas in Behdinan and Xakurk. The Turkish state wants to train the tribes it does not accept.
The PDK considers the role of the AKP to be very important for the continuation of its rule and provides all kinds of assistance to the Turkish state. If it can not clearly establish a line of cooperation and betrayal, it is thanks to the national memory, struggle and resistance of the Kurdish people in all four parts. The PDK is in a very weak position among the people in Kurdistan, so they are very scared. Threats, blackmail and pressure are common in Duhok and Zakho. The turnout was also very low in the last elections. The people do not support the PDK. All the PDK’s supporters are outside forces. During this period, the PDK made a clear line of betrayal and cooperation. The women gave a strong reaction against the betrayal line. Our people of the South, more than ever, stood against the PDK line. There is now Turkish occupation everywhere in the South. This is a very big risk. After the end of the Turkish state, the PKK will try to occupy Kurdistan, Mosul and Kirkuk. I urge the people of the South to clarify their position on the issue of betrayal.”
ATTACKS ON SHENGAL
KJK Coordinating Member Beşe Erzincan also praised the attacks on Sinjar, saying, “The agreement signed on October 9, 2020 between the PDK, Iraq and the US seeks to break the will of the people of Sinjar.” They want to assimilate and destroy our Yazidi people. The basic truth of this agreement is this. No Iraqi prime minister has ever been so deeply involved with the Turkish state. Masrur Barzani’s latest statement on Sinjar also exposed the reality of the PDK. The Barzani family is in a line of betrayal for the benefit of the family against the Kurdish people and its struggle. Our people and women will not forget this situation, they will deepen their struggle on the line of freedom.
Our Yazidi community and the self-defense forces are in the midst of a great resistance. Women take the lead in resistance. Our Yazidi community is fighting for self-determination and self-defense. There were big protests for Sinjar in all four parts of Kurdistan and in Europe. All our people and friends stood up for the demands of the people of Sinjar.
ŞÎRÎN ELEMHÛLÎ IS THE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE PKK
Besê Erzîncan remembered the 12th anniversary of the assassination of Şîrîn Elemhûlî and her comrades by the Iranian regime on May 9, 2022, and continued, “Şîrîn Elemhûlî is the second Kurdish woman in the history of Kurdistan. has been executed. Leyla Qasim, known as Khanaqin, who rebelled against Saddam Hussein’s fascist regime, was hanged on May 12, 1974, in Baghdad. Şîrîn Elemhûlî and 4 of her friends were executed on May 9, 2010 by the tyrannical regime of Iran. We remember these two Kurdish women with respect and gratitude on the anniversary of their martyrdom.
The line of Leyla Qasim and Şîrîn Elemhûlî is the main vein of the line of patriotism, resistance and freedom of Kurdistan. Kurdish women played a leading role in the socialization and development of humanity in the land of Mesopotamia. The Kurdish people took the lead in the Neolithic. Kurdish women have played a strategic role in the socialization of humanity. The historical roots of a Kurdish woman’s devotion to her land, language and culture are deep. Leyla Qasim and Şîrîn Elemhûlî have made the most outstanding representation of this in their lives and struggles.
Şîrîn Elemhûlî is a representative of the PKK’s self-defense line. The natural expression of the women’s liberation line developed by Leader Apo is seen in the struggle of the Sweet Friend. Today, thousands of men and women in East Kurdistan are following this line of resistance. ”
Erzîncan said that YJA STAR guerrillas were fighting in Zap and Avaşin today, adding, “Kurdish women were fighting on the basis of the Şîrîn Elemhûlî line. Our history of women’s resistance from Sakineh’s life to the present is flowing like a river.
Zap and Avaşin show unparalleled skill and determination. YJA STAR guerrillas are leading this resistance. The level of women in the army leads the guerrillas of Kurdistan. It should be noted that YJA STAR creates hands-on activities both with its own activities and with many activities it performs with HPG. We are in the longest war in the history of mankind. This war takes place in the sacred lands of Mesopotamia. Our struggle for freedom continues in times and places where crises and conflicts deepen the most. Kurdish women are leading the fight. YJA STAR leads the battle of Zap and Avaşin successfully. The guerrilla of democratic modernity requires multi-faceted consciousness, faith, skill, will, initiative and skill. For the first time in the history of the war in Kurdistan, our practice of mobilizing women has developed such a comprehensive and effective level of leadership. Our level of female militancy has reached a level where war is raging in Kurdistan. I congratulate YJA STAR on its success. YJA STAR is not only the self-defense force of Kurdistan, but also the self-defense force of the peoples of the Middle East and women. “This is the first time we have responded to the 5,000-year history of slavery against women with such a comprehensive guerrilla stance.”
Erzîncan stated that the Rojava revolution also took the form of a women’s revolution and added, “The YPJ played a leading role in the Rojava revolution. The 3rd YPJ conference was held recently. Here we salute the YPJ conference. The Western revolution is advancing under the leadership of women and is becoming a place of inspiration for the Middle East and the world.
In this context, Kurdish women, women in the Middle East, play a leading role in the struggle for human freedom, both in self-defense and in the reconstruction of society.
The women led the resistance and uprisings on 15 February, 8 March and Newroz this year against all the policies of the Turkish state against private war, oppression, violence, poverty and migration. The lines of Sakine, Zilan, Beritan, Sema Yücel, Şilan Kobanî, Şirîne Elemhulîs have been strongly revived.”
WE WILL BUILD OUR OWN SYSTEM
Erzincan stated that the line of women’s liberation under the leadership of President Apo is gradually advancing in Kurdistan, the Middle East and the world, and said that it is accepted by women all over the world. Erzincan continued:
“As the hegemonic system is known to be advancing against all the freedom revolutions in the world, it pursues various strategies and policies that aim to destroy or destroy it in its own system. Whatever the goal may be, it is to ensure the continuity of the five-thousand-year-old male-dominated system. The 20th century saw the rise of nationalism. In the 21st century due to the rise of the struggle for women’s freedom, sexism is most prevalent. Sexism; is nationalism, religiosity and the yeast of science. The dominant system therefore attaches great importance to the elimination of the struggle for women’s freedom and the policies of its abolition within the system.
For example, when we look at world politics in general, women are given more ministries and roles at the state level than ever before. The male-dominated system imposes many responsibilities on women who have been dominated by the mentality of the male-dominated system, implementing these policies both with the aim of nullifying the struggle for women’s freedom and perpetuating their system. Again in the areas where the revolution will develop strongly, under the name of civil society organizations based on the goal of destroying the fabric of society, building the foundation of their culture, exposing those plans to the capitalist system.
The purpose of all this is to promote the false individualistic line of women’s liberation. It should be noted that the lifestyle and relationships of women in the line of false freedom are not subject to radical change and transformation. On the contrary, by giving them some economic power and opportunities, the situation of female slavery deepens. Women are held in a position to do more service to the male-dominated system. On the basis of equality and freedom their voice and role are restricted throughout life. It focuses on genuine, autonomous, democratic and collective female participation. Alternative, modern, free relationships are hindered. Existing relationships come alive in an even more reactionary way. But the most important thing for women at all levels of life is to be organized with their own color and will. Must be love, sex; property, save from power relations. Building cohabitation relationships is free in all areas of life. In essence the dominant system ends the leading role of women in the transformation of society, in the liberation of humanity and seeks to leave them in a position to serve men.
It is worth noting that the concept of women’s revolution has been widely used in the slogans of this year’s women’s liberation struggle. It shows how women want radical change and transformation, an alternative life. Women no longer accept slavery status in any way.
So our current struggle is not just to protest and reject, for an alternative to a free life; political, social, legal, media, cultural, ecological and free coexistence. We must build alternative lives. Criticism, complaint and rejection alone are not enough. We have to reorganize. Young women must focus both on rebuilding a free life and on developing resistance. The male-dominated system targets the most dynamic, liberal and courageous section of society, Kurdish girls and young people. But the leading force of our revolution are young women.
Today in the face of violence against women, a significant potential of a man who does not condone such violence has emerged. Leader Apo’s line of women’s liberation, our struggle for women’s liberation has brought to a very important level of freedom in society. There is a very significant mass of men who consciously, want to live free, to delve deeper into the patriotic line. On the one hand there is the masculine reality that has been dehumanized by the male-dominated system, on the other hand there is the influential male reality and the current struggle for women’s freedom. So if the right organization, action and struggle for freedom is developed, then society will reach the highest level of freedom. “The war waged by the Turkish state in Zap and Avaşin is against the level of freedom that has developed in Kurdistan and the Middle East in the social sphere.”
EVERYONE SHOULD BE INVOLVED IN THE RESISTANCE
Erzincan said that the Turkish state wants to kill the Kurdish people once again on the basis of the PDK’s betrayal, adding: “It wants to welcome the establishment of the Republic of Turkey in 2023.” Behind it, there is the five-thousand-year-old male-dominated system. The aim is to take precedence over the freedom of women and the coexistence of peoples on an equal and free basis. They want to destroy the achievements of women. Trying to bring women back home and leave them in slavery status. So the war in Zap and Avaşin has far deeper goals than previously thought.
For this, all women, people and the Kurdish guerrilla must be protected. The Kurdish guerrillas are not just the Kurdish people. They are fighting for the freedom of women, for the people to live together. So as women our attitude towards the line of cooperation and betrayal must be clear. A woman who betrays her people and her gender is a failed woman and represents slavery.
On this basis we call on all women, our people and all faiths to join the resistance that has been developed under the leadership of the PKK-PAJK in Zap. The resilience of our people will show how that personality will develop in the 21st century. In the spirit of the 21st century there is resistance to the freedom of humanity. The spirit of the time is resistance. Releases resistance. With such an approach and spirit it is necessary to join the ranks of the struggle and all sides of the resistance.
Ensuring the physical freedom of Leader Apo is achieved through the deepening of resistance, self-defense and reconstruction work that we have developed in every field. Our leadership expects us to achieve great success on this basis. The one who liberates our Leader is our organization and resistance.
In this context, we stand with great determination and determination and we will definitely build a free life based on the line of women’s freedom of Leader Apo. On this basis, we give the most correct and satisfactory answer to our martyrs of May. ”
Erzincan recently declared that May is the month of the martyrs of the struggle, adding, “First of all, I celebrate May Day as Labor Day for all humanity. I also celebrate the feast of Ramadan in the Islamic world.
This month, I respectfully remember all our martyrs of freedom in the person of Mehmet Karasungur, comrades Haki Karer, Deniz Gezmis, Ibrahim Kaypakkaya, Shirin Elemhuli, Leyla Qasim and Gurbet Aydin. The memories and dreams of our martyrs will undoubtedly take place in the Kurdistan revolution.
Comrade Şîrîn Elemhûlî was executed 12 years ago in May. She is the second Kurdish woman to be executed in Kurdistan. The revolution in East Kurdistan is taking place with the revolution of our woman Şirin Elemhûlî.
Comrade Aysel Dogan was martyred on May 11, 2022 in Germany due to cancer. Aysel Dooganan was one of the leading representatives of the Apoyi line in Dersim. For the Kurds, Alevis and women to live equally and freely on the land of Mesopotamia, he sacrificed his whole life and fought and resisted. Comrade Aysel Dooganan, as the bearer and representative of the Besê’s resistance tradition, Zarifa and comrade Sakine Cansîzz, one of the symbols of our Women’s Freedom Movement and our history of freedom will always be remembered and will never be forgotten.”
