NEWS CENTER – Kurdish youth and their friends are involved in activities against the occupation attacks throughout Kurdistan. Every action taken by the youth is important, but joining the guerrilla ranks and fighting the war against the occupation is different. In today’s process against fascism there is no other way to respond than to fight. At the same time the ones who run and give this method are young men and women.
The statement given by the youth is as follows;
“The occupier Turkish state and its ally, the PDK, have been attacking the Media Protection Areas since 17 April. They want to kill all the Kurdish people and the oppressed people in the person of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas and give their lives for their genocide. For this reason, the occupying Turkish state, with the support of NATO forces, has tried everything in the mountains of Kurdistan against the guerrillas, from chemical weapons to prohibited weapons. However, these occupier attacks are not left unanswered, no matter how much the occupier attacks, the guerrillas fight so much, the young men and women of Kurdistan join the guerrilla ranks.
To this end, the Youth Groups have mobilized throughout Kurdistan against all occupier attacks on the Media Protection Areas. Therefore, the youth of Kurdistan responded to the Youth Groups and joined the ranks of the PKK. The youths joined the guerrilla ranks under the slogan “In the 50th year of Leader Apo’s victory, we are also the 50th people to go to the free mountains”. West Kurdistan, one of the most attacked areas, reported that its youth had joined the PKK ranks against the occupation.
The youth announced their participation in a statement and in their statement the youth drew attention to the resistance of the guerrillas that no attack could overcome and said; “When ISIS attacked West Kurdistan and Sinjar, no one but the guerrillas defended the Kurdish people and the country. We, as the youth of West Kurdistan, take the resistance of the guerrillas as an example. For that, we decided to join the guerrillas. to join the guerrilla ranks in the mountains of Kurdistan as part of the mobilization announced by the youth movement.”
