NEWS CENTER – The spokesman of the People’s Defense Units (YPG) Nuri Mehmud made a statement regarding the allegations of the PDK regarding the sending of military equipment by the YPG to South Kurdistan.

The statement shared the following information:
“On April 26, an allegation was made by the PDK Security Forces. According to this claim; some military equipment sent by the YPG was seized in Duhok. We have nothing to do with the military equipment seized by the PDK security forces in Duhok. It is alleged that the weapons were sent by Rodi Hussein, a YPG official.
There is no such person in the YPG. These incidents and what is being said by the PDK are not true. Through news like this the PDK is trying to undermine its cooperation with the occupying Turkish state. It also seeks to justify the Turkish state’s occupier attacks. At a time when occupier attacks on South Kurdistan and North and East Syria are on the rise, the spread of such allegations raises suspicions.
It wants to deliberately target the revolution in the West and the people of the West with such news and damage its diplomatic relations. The PDK is also trying to divert the reactions of the Kurdish public to such news. “Our people and the public must not believe such news.”
