On 19 April 2017, the occupying Turkish army launched an extensive operation in the Belk region on Mount Kato. Fighting broke out in this operation and our comrades Roza, Xwînda, Stêrk, Zîlan and Arîn fought valiantly and were martyred. We respectfully remember our martyred comrades on the anniversary of their martyrdom.

ROZA HÊLÎN
Our friend Roza was born in the village of Dengiza in the Stewr district of Mardin, which is known for its patriotism and participation in the freedom movement. Due to the pressure and oppression of the enemy, the family of our friend Roza was forced to move to the metropolises of Turkey and settled in Izmir. Our comrade Roza grew up here, although growing up within the capitalist system she never accepted this culture, rose up against a genocidal regime and assimilation. She learned and spoke her mother tongue Kurdish well, and continued her devotion to social culture. After graduating from High School she worked as a laborer, recognized labor and became a woman who stood on her own two feet. Our colleague Roza, on the one hand, felt the struggle for the freedom of her people and the sufferings of the people in her heart, and on the other hand, recognized the lives of the oppressed, the workers and the laborers. She decided to join the ranks of the Apoyi movement both to ensure the freedom of the people of Kurdistan and to save the oppressed and working people through socialism. Our comrade Roza joined the guerrilla ranks in 2006 and started practicing guerrilla warfare in Xakurk. It was here that the PKK’s guerrilla warfare, solidarity and way of life were learned and quickly put into practice. After three years of practice he moved to the Metin area, then did revolutionary work in Xinere and Gare. In 2011 he trained at the Zeynep Kinaci Academy, deepened himself in PAJK standards and moved to Haftanin this week as a skilled commander of the YJA Star. As it is known, 2011 and 2012 were a period in which our revolutionary people’s war reached its highest level and our movement against the Turkish state went step by step. Our comrade Roza also traveled to Van province in 2012 as a brave commander and Apoyi militant to be able to take an active part in the operation. He took an active part in the activities of the Revolutionary People’s War, which reached a high level in Van under the command of our immortal comrade Mehmed Goyi. Until 2016, she served in various fields in Van province and successfully fulfilled his responsibilities. Our comrade Roza, who gained a lot of experience in Northern guerrilla warfare, moved to the Kato region in 2016. In the spring of 2017 she fought valiantly against the enemy and was martyred in an occupation operation.

XWÎNDA KATO
Our colleague Xwinda Kato was born on August 15 in the patriotic district of Botan in Elk. Because of the patriotism of the family and the Elki tribe, our colleague Xwinda quickly recognized the freedom movement, grew up with a patriotic consciousness. Since she was born on the day of our Step of the 15th of August, this has been a source of morale for our partner and she has celebrated every birthday with a resurrection celebration. Because her family was nomadic and exploring the geography of Kurdistan, she was able to explore many areas and love the beauty of her homeland. Our comrade Xwinda saw the cruelty of the murderous enemy on our people in Botan and all of Kurdistan, felt the pressure of the enemy and became very angry. Growing up on the slopes of Mount Kato, he recognized the hand-to-hand fighting of the Zadi guerrillas and was therefore an admirer of the guerrillas. Also because her family was involved in the freedom movement, our colleague Xwinda established a strong emotional connection with the guerrillas. In a process in which the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas were taking steps in North Kurdistan, our comrade Xwinda came under the influence of the revolutionary operation in Elk and in 2011 joined the guerrilla ranks in Kato. Our comrade Xwinda joined the guerrillas in Kato, then worked in Gare and Metina. It most affected the PKK’s solidarity and morale. Seeing itself as a rebirth was the transition from the material life of the capitalist system of modernity to the great spirituality within the PKK. She trained day by day in the guerrilla ranks, re-created himself, reached a significant level in the standards of freedom and also trained himself in military art. Trained and skilled in the military sector to become an expert in the military. When ISIS fascism invaded southern Kurdistan and attacked Makhmur and Kirkuk, she took up arms and became one of the Apoyi heroes who first captured ISIS fascism. She fought against the ISIS gangs for nearly three years and became one of the guerrillas who defeated backward fascism. Our comrade Xwinda fulfilled his historic mission as an Apoy militant and achieved the honor of defending his people. After completing his historic mission, she returned to the Media Protection Areas and insisted on crossing into North Kurdistan. As a result of this insistence, in 2016, as a great YJA Star commander, she returned to Botan, where he was born. With great rage against the enemy she entered into attempts to quickly engage in practice and take revenge on the enemy for decades. On this basis she worked hard and was actively involved in life and activities. She bravely resisted and was martyred in the Kato area during the operation.

STÊRK EFRÎN
Our friend Stêrk was born in one of the paradises of our country, Kurdistan, in the Bilbil neighborhood of Efrîn. Afrin, known for its patriotism and loyalty, as well as for its heroic deeds in the Kurdistan Freedom Fight, was targeted by the occupiers. The occupiers, in the person of xwestinAfrin, wanted to defeat the Western Freedom Revolution and occupied biAfrin for this purpose. But neither the patriotic people of ,Afrin, nor the heroes of tiAfrin will ever submit to these dirty policies. WêAfrin will definitely be saved and re-established as a field of true patriotism. Our comrade Stark, who was born in such a patriotic land, knew himself, as well as his people, the freedom struggle and the Apocalypse movement. She grew up as a struggling child and even though he never went to school he most fully embraced freedom and the struggle for freedom. In 2012, when our step of the revolutionary people’s war reached its peak, he had already moved to the mountains of Kurdistan and joined the guerrilla ranks, to fulfill her childhood dreams and aspirations. She started a struggle to oust Metinger from her homeland Kurdistan. Our comrade Stark started guerrilla warfare in the Metina area and learned basic life lessons and martial arts from there. When she reached the mountain, her genuine and genuine relationship with the PKK had a profound effect on her, and her most genuine and beautiful feelings flourished. It has become the principle that true fellowship is above all social relations, always beautifying people and giving people the truth. Our comrade Star described the PKK and the PKK comrade as the most sacred values. Based on the cooperation of Leader Apo, she made it her main goal to follow in the footsteps of Egid and Zilan. On the basis of this goal she made a great effort, advancing herself in the field of free women and successful female militancy. The tasks were given to her, without distinguishing between them she tried to do her best and based her measure of success on herself. In 2015, she participated in training at the Martyr Beritan Academy, where she excelled in the areas of free female guerrilla warfare, free female command, and martial arts. Had a great deal of anger against the occupiers and had made it his primary goal that Leader Apo should be released immediately physically. For this purpose, in 2016, she moved to North Kurdistan. In the process of self-defense, she went to Botan to avenge the brutal massacre of our people. She started practicing in the Kato region in the North and soon learned the guerrilla style of the era. With her sincere companionship, with her ruggedness and her bravery she stood out among her peers. Our comrade Star as a YJA Star militant was martyred very early in the spring of 2017 on Mount Kato in the war against the invaders. With Free Leadership, Free Afrin and Free Kurdistan, we will definitely have the memory and struggle of our comrade Stêrk.

ZÎLAN QEREJDAX
Our friend Zilan was born in Çinar district of Diyarbakir. She grew up in a patriotic family on the outskirts of Qerejdax. The current social situation did not allow her to read. The corruption of the system of capitalist modernity could not reach the pure female nature of our colleague Zilan. Our colleague Zilan did not accept the role and mission that social reality imposed on women and became embroiled in controversy because of the way of life imposed on women. Comrade Zilan did not accept it in her conscience; how a woman who is the name of life and makes life beautiful is not considered in society, is left in the most backward status and is not valued. Conflicts that many women do not accept and cannot accept, were the search and appeal for our colleague Zilan. Understood that the search for food, self-sufficiency and beauty in color could succeed in the PKK’s mountains of Kurdistan. The abduction and sale of Kurdish Yezidi women as slaves was like a storm in the heart of our comrade Zilan when ISIS fascism invaded Sinjar in 2014 and tried to exterminate our Yazidi people. By understanding; neither Kurdish women nor any women in the world can enter into this situation, started an active struggle. No one could stop her anymore. Together with her cousin Arin, the daughter of her cousin, she decided to join the guerrilla ranks. She joined the guerrilla ranks in Mardin province, from where they crossed into the Bestay area. Understand that revenge can be achieved from backwardness, from the male-dominated mind, from the dictators, from ISIS fascism, to the creation of a free life in the form of women through guerrilla struggle and the implementation of the Apocalyptic ideology. This fact has made our comrade Zilan even more deeply connected to the ideology of Apo, the guerrillas and the life of the PKK. Although she did not know how to read and write, she quickly trained herself in the ranks of the PKK. By educating and developing oneself, revenge is removed from the backward tradition of society. After spending some time in the Bestay area, he moved to the Elk area. Both hard work and skill involved the work. Every day she advanced and trained herself in the Apoyi militancy. Especially in the winter camps the women of Weser got to know their sexuality closely, developed a woman’s consciousness, learned PAJK’s line and the history of free women. Our comrade Zilan expressed her color in the Kato area, became self-possessed and strong, as a female Apoyi militant was loved among her comrades. It became a poignant example of how the Apocalyptic ideology empowers a man, highlights its original characteristics and elevates the woman. In the spring of 2017, our comrade Zilan bravely fought and joined the immortal martyrs of the people of Kurdistan in the operation process to prevent the occupiers.

ARÎN QEREJDAX
Our comrade Arin, was born and raised in the same family and environment. Because our colleagues Arîn and Zîlan were contemporaries, they grew up with the same feelings, they came across the same social backwardness and they had the same conflicts because of the situation in the society towards women. Our colleague Arin worked in the fields, getting to know the woman’s relationship with labor, with the land. It also saw how a woman creates life through labor and how the basic foundation of life comes from the unseen. These social conflicts grew like an ashtray in her heart, trying to find an opportunity and opportunity for the rape of a woman. She shared his desire for freedom with his comrade Zilan and decided to join the guerrilla ranks. They joined hands and marched towards freedom, joining the guerrilla ranks. Both gained strength from each other and re-established themselves within the PKK. One took the name of our devoted commander, Zilan (Zeynep Kinaci), and the other took the name of his comrade Arîn Mîrkan, who acted like Zilan in Kobanê. On the line of feudalism and godliness, the militants took the lead and began the revolutionary march. In the face of all sorts of traditional social backwardness and male-dominated minds, they responded with the PKK ’s high life and the creation of the most authentic beauty in their personality. Our comrades Arîn and Zîlan, who grew up together, suffered the same pain, went in search together, joined the guerrilla ranks together and worked together in Kato, stayed in the same camps, in the same operation. were martyred together. Our comrades Arîn and Zîlan were role models for all women, especially the people of Qerejdax, and they will always be role models for us. Their struggle for Kurdish women who are right in the same backwardness, are in the same conflict and are in the same quest, is a call to join the ranks of the PKK. Take revenge on the male domination of the brain and the states that are the dangerous shadow of this brain, by elevating the struggle for women’s freedom, by creating the most beautiful and original values of women.
Our comrades Roza, Xwînda, Stêrk, Zîlan and Arîn were each real, brave, beautiful heroes. We promise to overcome their struggle and be faithful to their dreams and aspirations. We extend our deepest condolences to the people of Kurdistan, especially to their dear patriotic families. “
