“Our comrade Şoreş was martyred in the August 2019 operation of the TC state on the Media Protection Areas. Our comrade Şoreş has made a great contribution to the freedom struggle of our people with an unbelievable revolution, he has fulfilled his duty to our people and our heroic martyrs. Our esteemed comrade who has successfully fulfilled all his duties, has reached the rank of the most beloved militant of our Party and our people. Our comrade lived up to the last moment of martyrdom on the basis, standards and Pragmatism of Democratic Modernity, with his martyrdom he also became one of the most important defenders of this life.

Amed has been home to the Kurds and many civilizations for thousands of years, and at every stage of history it has become a country for all the poor with its rebellious sect against the oppressors. This feature has permeated all the people of this geography, the ancient people of Diyarbakir, have never bowed down to the authorities, tyrants and oppressors. The Kavak family, rooted in such a culture and tradition, has taken its place in the ranks of the resistance against the genocidal policies of the Turkish dictatorship against our people. With this original scene, he became the face of the freedom of the people of Kurdistan, and became an example in the fight to protect the dignity of his people. This precious family of ours has given many martyrs and guerrillas in the struggle for the freedom of Kurdistan, because of this characteristic, it has always faced the pressures of the enemy and has been tortured. Always linked to Leader Apo, the martyrs and the cause of the people’s freedom, in order to protect this connection and fight against the pressures of the enemy, many of their loved ones were forced to flee to Kurdistan. Although thousands of kilometers away from Kurdistan, they have never been separated from Kurdistan. As in their own country, they have not forgotten their homeland, Kurdistan.
Comrade Şoreş was born in such a family and like all children in Diyarbak kiriyer, he spent his childhood under the pressure of the enemy and saw the cruelty of the enemy. Therefore, he was very angry with the murderous Turkish state. Comrade Şoreş joined the guerrilla ranks in 2003, when the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle was in a difficult period, with the aim of establishing ties with Leader Apo and the martyrs. He joined the guerrilla ranks with great enthusiasm and desire and later strengthened himself militarily and ideologically. He has been fighting in the Media Protection Areas for a long time and has already moved to North Kurdistan to oppose the enemy’s plans to eliminate our party. In the years 2008 and 2009 they were involved in many activities that inflicted heavy casualties on the enemy. Comrade Şoreş understood that in order to succeed, he had to use different tactics against the enemy. So it has been in the works of the city for some time. During these operations he was captured by the enemy in Istanbul in 2009 and did not surrender to the psychological and physical torture of the enemy. It remains linked to the resistance culture of Mazlum, Kemal and Hayriyan. He has theoretically contributed to the education of his peers and tried to fulfill his duty of co-operation. During his imprisonment, the enemy was able to capture comrade Şoreş only physically, and his free spirit was always with his friends in the mountains of Kurdistan.
Comrade Şoreş never gave up his demand for freedom and escaped to Bingel Prison for the first time, but was later released. He then escaped to Diyarbak Gr Prison with his friends with a film-like plan. In this escape action which means victory, he has pioneered his comrades with his skill, hard work, courage and faith and has proved that no chain and iron gates can stand in front of the Apoyi militants. After fleeing to the mountains of Kurdistan again in 2016, he resigned and tried to pay his debt to the Leader, the martyrs and our people. Comrade şoreş with his modest character, hard work and practice was always at the forefront and with ideological depth became an Apoyi militant for all his comrades.
Comrade Şoreş will always live in our struggle as an exemplary militant of the Kurdistan Revolution with his clear stance and insistence on freedom. “Dear family of Şoreş, we extend our deepest condolences to all the patriotic people of Kurdistan. We reiterate our promise that we will fulfill his dreams of a free leadership and a free Kurdistan.”
