NEWS CENTER – The Free Youth Initiative called for a hashtag campaign in a statement. The initiative stated that the hashtag will start on April 3 at 20:00 Diyarbak/Amedê time and 19:00 European time.
The statement of the Free Youth Initiative reads as follows:
“In the history of all societies of people the has always have being a vanguard and leadership. All societies resisted against opreesive attacks. In all societies, there have been people who have sacrificed everything for these resistances and struggles. The Kurdish people have faced all kinds of genocidal attacks and destruction throughout their history. It has also developed resistance against this. However, due to the lack of a true Leader, it has not been able to survive its attacks on society, culture, history and identity. As existence and self could not live the reality of itself and its country.
With the apperance of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, the Kurdish people accepted him as their Leader. The people saw his existence, freedom and salvation in his thoughts, his philosophy and the struggle of Abdullah Ocalan’s Leader and as a result people started to resist and struggle for his freedom.
Abdullah Ocalan’s leadership was a source of hope, faith and strength for the Kurdish people and all peoples who are subjected to genocidal attacks. Abdullah Ocalancalan’s leadership, with its democratic and liberal ideology and philosophy, has transcended nationalism and reached a level that addresses all peoples, communities, faiths and nations.
That is why today he is referred to as the Leader of the Peoples and has become an internationalist leader. Against the system of Capitalist Modernity the philosophy of Democratic Modernity became the ideological guide and the philosophy of freedom, became the democratic political guide of the social alternative. The Leader of the Peoples was in fact the target of all the hegemonic powers of world imperialism.
It was confronted by an international conspiracy led by the pioneers of global hegemony and regional cooperation and today is held in isolation by the same system. In fact this conspiracy has been carried out against his Philosophy and the freedom struggle that has developed against the system of fascism and occupation. That is why today all people, women, youth, society, faith and freedom movements see their freedom in the struggle for the freedom of People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan and are fighting for him.
We, as the FREE YOUTH INITIATIVE, which sees the realization of its freedom in the freedom of People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan from many different nations and societies, and in the birthday of People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan, which means a resurrection and a philosophical existence for the whole society and freedom fighters. Hashtags campaings were initiated. We call on all freedom-loving people, communities and youth to take a strong part in this campaign.
