BEHDÎNAN -The birthday of the chairman of the freedom-loving society was celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the world this year. This year, compared to last year’s celebrations, the celebrations were even bigger and spread all over the world. The birthday of Rêber Apo, April 04, was celebrated in a wide variety of countries. This year, the youth and young women were very present in the actions for Rêber Apo’s birthday.
On the occasion of April 04, the guerrilla of YJA Star talked to our news agency Nûçe Ciwan. The guerrilla that fights for the physical freedom of Rêber Apo, for the freedom of the societies makes clear that April 04 is a very important date for the Kurdish society, but also for all oppressed peoples worldwide. The existence of Rêber Apo and its ideas is considered as a threat to capitalism and therefore capitalism is attacking the movement of PKK, Kurdish people and Rêber Apo with all means. Against this, especially the youth must be aware of their responsibility and give the most effective answer to the attacks that they can give, to take their place in the ranks of the guerrilla and to fight for the physical freedom of Rêber Apo, the freedom of the Kurdish society and all oppressed societies worldwide against fascism.
The guerrilla fighter of YJA Star Jinda Geber stated to our news agency:
“We congratulate our Chairman, all comrades and the peoples of the Middle East on April 04. April 04 will be the occasion of victory. In this we are ambitious. That we as guerrillas of the YJA-Star guerrilla can come and fight in the free mountains today, we owe to our chairman. In order to be cooperative (Hevaltî) with our chairman, a unique struggle is required. We want to be the footsteps of those who became the Hevals of our Chairman. By and large, this day has become the day of women, indeed the day of women worldwide. On the occasion of this day, we will implement the physical freedom of Rêber Apos. My call is for the young women, we will raise the struggle.”
The fighter Şilan Kobanê said:
“April 04 is the birthday of the Kurdish people. With the birth of the chairman, this day is actually very different for us. The feelings are different. Through this day goes your love for life, the moments of community that you live, the spirit that you live with this moment, the resilience that you live. This day expresses that meaning for us and has a very important meaning. We celebrate the Chairman’s birthday with all our guerrillas and people. This birthday is the birthday of all of us. The Chairman has made it possible for women today to stand on these mountains, to fight, to follow the ideas of Rêber Apo and to be able to fight for their freedom in these free mountains. Especially Kurdish women, young women. Our chairman has given us such a day that we can fight on these mountains today. This day means a lot to us. It is a day when the enemy is so cruel, putting so much pressure on the youth, on the mothers, on the children and on our people. The Chairman has given all our people a day to stand up, in the mountains we as women can take our role, can take our role even more on the mountains.
Finally, I would like to say that the resistance that currently The Hevals, in Zap Heftanîn and in all the other areas are successfully leading is a great joy and morale for us. We congratulate the success of these Hevals, celebrate the resistance of these Hevals. I send them my greetings and love. At the end of the day, our society has stood up with the spirit of Newroz 2022 and March 08, all over the world society has stood up. We want to celebrate April 04 in the same way. The resistance shown on Newroz and 08 March is also the spirit of 04 April. With the time of the existence of the chairman, we can join hands with this joy and go to war on these mountains against the fascist enemies, the murderous enemies. We can physically liberate the chairman of the Kurdish society.
My call is for the young women, the Kurdish women, the youth, come on the mountains, join hands and let us lead the resistance on the front, on the front of freedom. I say you should come and join hands with us and we will fight on the free mountains and liberate our chairman. I congratulate our society this year on April 04.”
YJA star fighter Avaşin Bakok also addressed her word to the public and said:
“On April 04, we welcome Chairman Apo and the all peoples of the world. As is known, on April 04, the birth of the Chairman is a new era for us and for all the peoples of this world as well. We, as guerrillas of the YJA Star, attach a very high importance to April 04. Under the rule of the system, there is so much violence against women and against the resistance that our Chairman has created brought us women to the level of achieving freedom in the present days. That is why we are very lucky as guerrillas of YJA Star. For us, the luck is very great and in this sense we continue our struggle. Especially all the female guerrillas that our chairman has taken to the level that today they can resist on the war front, fight an unprecedented war against the enemy. This was created with the resistance Rêber Apos, with his work. This has reached the very highest level for us and we will always take it seriously. On the other hand, especially the women on today’s days, through the emergence of the chairman especially within the Kurdish society can seize their freedom and on the level on which the rule is led, seize their rights. This can be seen by the people on today’s days. This was achieved through the work of Rêber Apo. The chairman has fought against domination for years and brought women to the highest levels. Especially on today, looking at the situation of women in the system, progress has been made again. This is a great honor for us. Especially with the chairman’s effort, this was built and we as YJA Star guerrillas will be worthy of this effort, fight in this sense.
The Chairman’s birthday on April 04 is very important to us. On this special day, we especially call upon the young women to participate in this process with the spirit of April 04 in a strong way and prove themselves worthy of Rêber Apo’s effort. On this basis, this day is very important for us and we wish everyone success.”
