CENTRAL NEWS – In Kenya, the Grassroots Liberation Project group has denounced the arrest of Rêber Abudllah Ocalan and the involvement of the Kenyan State in the international plot against the revolutionary leader. Nûçe Ciwan was able to talk to Thomas Jeffrey Miley, lecturer in Political Sociology, University of Cambridge and a member of the initiative “Peace in Kurdistan”, about the work they are carrying on the country and the emergence of the united struggle for the physical freedom of Abudllah Ocalan.

Thomas Jeffrey Miley, lecturer in Political Sociology, University of Cambridge, who is in Kenya on a research mission, was among the representatives of the Grassroots Liberation movement that sent a birthday message to Abdullah Öcalan from Kenya.

“This day gained meaning with Abdullah Öcalan. A statist administration cannot be a democratic one. Democracy, in essence, is the people’s power to govern themselves,” Dr. Thomas Jeff Miley said in his message.

Brian Mathenge: “So i’m Brian from the Grassroots Liberation Project and we’ve being doing a series of political education with the seminars talking about self-determination, specially connection the social struggles here in Kenya the struggle for social movements with the international struggles and we’ve being doing a series of seminars and from the seminars we’ve being doing a series of murals on Ocalan. Basically to educate the Kenya population, that Ocalan was kidnapped here in Kenya with the aid of the Kenya state in works with the MOSSAD and NATO and we are highly condemning the fact that Kenya state is responsible for repressing revolutionaries from all over the world”.

Felista Wambui: “My name is Felista Wambui from the Kasarini Young Mothers’ organization. We are here as an organization because we want to liberate woman and young mothers from this bias (prejudice), the agenda is ‘break the bias’ as a woman, we want also to be on the frontline, to break this bias. We do some of the predicts and we want to bring as much organisations as possible so we can liberate all women from this biasnes. We are at Kasarini, Nairobi, our organization has 104 young mothers we are not all who are moms, but all young mothers”.

Mitch: “My name is Mitch im here from “Simplicity”, we also study social ecological justice here we are under the “Inaudible” association. We do the political, economic and social development and we are here for Free Ocalan for this society to make sure that justice shall prevail for all. We shall prevail for justice, and justice must be conquered. “Unintelligible”, capitalism, we must be a socialist in whatever we do, what that matters is we should be better for the social economical participation and everything we do here in this world, we should do it together. And as one we shall conquer. We say to all to see this video, thank you all We say to all to see this video, thank you all Free Ocalan! Free!”
