NEWS CENTER – A year ago the turkish fascist state launched a massive operation against the guerrilla positions in Zap, Metina and Avashin. They expected to conquer the terrain and destroy the guerrilla and its positions along the border with Bakur – since they failed to achieve their goals in February of the same year in the Gare mountains.
What the turkish state didn’t expected was the heroic and historical resistance of the guerrillas, making their plans completely empty. With great determination, sacrifice and much fight, the hevals were able to resist for 8 months until the winter came and the invader was forced to retreat due to heavy losses.
