BEHDÎNAN – YJA-Star Fermerda Şerda Mazlûm Gabar, Commander of the YJA-Star Command Council and the HPG, the level of guerrilla struggle in 2022, the new occupier attacks of the Turkish army, which is said to include the PDK, the guerrilla against these preparations and the definition of ‘quantum guerrillas’ used for modern era guerrillas, told the ANF.
Despite the historical resistance of the guerrillas that showed in 2021 against the occupiers, the fascist bloc of the AKP-MHP claimed that it was ‘last winter’ and that it would destroy your forces this year. But the YJA-Star and HPG have started 2022 with meetings of the Command Council. What evaluations and results emerged in these meetings?
We left behind 2021 which was a year of heavy fighting. 2021 was a year in which heroes at the level of feudalism left their mark on the history of freedom. A new phase began in the revolutionary people’s war with the guerrilla of democratic modernity. The guerrilla once again showed with his practice that a shining star. Of course we still have our problems, our conflicts, our methods that we could not solve and the year 2022 has passed.
At our meetings of the HPG and YJA-Star Command Council we both discussed the solution to these problems and prepared a plan for the success of the 50th anniversary of the victory. Our meetings of the Command Council took place in an atmosphere that should be worthy of our martyrs of Siyan, Werxel, Girê Sor and Zendura. With the mindset of ‘if we can hold a meeting and come together this is thanks to our martyrs’ we made our discussions. The main topic of discussion of our meetings was isolation on our Leader and the concept of genocide on our people. With the resistance of our guerrilla forces, the enemy, who wanted to kneel before us, knelt down. Fascism, which used to say to us, ‘this winter is the last winter for them’, was so vividly shown by our people during the Newroz celebrations that this winter will be the last winter of fascism. Everyone saw once again that our country is a country of fire and sun, we are children of fire and sun. In the Newroz of the freedom of the Leader it was seen that we will not live in a world without the Leader and not let anyone live. Those who described 2022 as a ‘year of respite’ for the PKK were overwhelmed by guerrilla activities, Newroz celebrations and were unable to speak. The guerrillas inflicted heavy casualties on the enemy in Zap, Xakurk, Metin and Avaşin, including snow, winter, cold, rain and heat.
As our friend the HPG Spokesman has stated for some time now, more than 8,000 operations have been carried out against our guerrilla forces in North Kurdistan in the last three months and nothing has happened to our forces. It was reported at the time that there were also 342 airstrikes on the Median Protection Areas. Heavy bombardment was also carried out on Metin, Gare, Zap and Avaşin. The fascist leaders themselves said this. They used chemical weapons first in Siyan, then in Zendura and Girê Sor. The enemy, who was defeated and defeated in the Werxel cave against our guerrilla force led by the comrades of Cumali and Çavre, indiscriminately martyred our comrades with a chemical weapon called thermobaric. The world, which today claims that Russia is using chemical weapons in Ukraine and is waging an uprising, is turning a blind eye to the Kurds and PKK guerrillas. Last year’s invasion attacks began on 23 April in the Metin, Zap and Avaşin areas, leaving a year behind. In these attacks ammunition that was not used much in the world wars was used but our guerrilla forces in this war defeated the enemy with their will, faith, love and loyalty. We once again remember our heroic martyrs with respect and reverence and reiterate our promise to fulfil their goal for a Free Leadership and a Free Kurdistan.
WE WILL MAKE THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY A YEAR OF SUCCESS
Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the founding of your movement in 2022, how will you react with a strategy of defense and attack?
Despite the unparalleled bravery and resilience shown throughout the year, it was emphasized in our meetings that we must create strategic successes. No doubt this resistance and the genuine sect of the guerrillas nullified the temporary policies of the enemy forces. In 2022 we are in a process where not only will the repression of attacks no longer require that the enemy be defeated to be able to attack again. In our meetings of the Command Council to respond to the process, it was decided to wage a concerted and comprehensive war against the all-out attacks in the revolutionary people’s war strategy. Against the attacks on the Leader, the position in the line of Zilan must be shown, in command and combat both in action and in the sense of life must always be always victorious and with this determination the battle must be fought.
We left behind a struggle of half a hundred years. We are determined and determined to make the 50th anniversary of the PKK a year of victory. For this too during the year we have more deeply understood the strategy of the revolutionary people’s war and we will implement it. The strategy of the revolutionary people’s war, which is a way of assessing the fundamental conflicts of the 21st century and resolving them, has become a fundamental strategy for our movement, which was based on the long-term people’s war strategy of the early 1970s. With the guerrilla war, the Kurdish people were liberated from the status of the denied and destroyed people and gained a lot of identity. The balances of the world that changed with the 1990s and both the struggle of the oppressed and technological advances forced changes in the strategy of the struggle. In this context, even a little late, our movement has made such a strategic change in accordance with the expectations of our Leader. Our general struggle defined its strategy as the strategy of the revolutionary people’s war and organized the work of the revolution accordingly. The guerrillas are the main source of power in carrying out this struggle. The stages of the struggle as well as the way the war is waged are different the guerrillas are the main force to crown this struggle with victory. Therefore the basic principles of guerrilla warfare and the implementation of these standards at the highest level, is the nature of the concept of modern warfare.
The guerrillas set up positions according to the changed strategy, defined their tactical objectives, their area of movement and the aim to defeat the concept of annihilation of the enemy and thus initiated a new course. Our HPG and YJA-Star forces are the guaranteeing force of the values of the 50-year struggle, our Leader, our martyrs and our people, a force that has organized itself in this way. A force that has organized itself for these reasons must first and foremost act with the weight of this responsibility, sacrifice, conscientious responsibility. Of course in addition to these issues there is also a depth on the basis of the ‘How can responsibility be best fulfilled, how should it be prepared, what should be done and how should it be done?’. It is very important for our commanders and fighters to interpret the course of the political and military process in the strongest possible terms and to create the strongest response to it. To solve the problems within the organization and defeat the policy of annihilation, our Leader years ago gave a great role to our forces of HPG and YJA-Star. That is why it is our duty to succeed in this task. We will put the seal of victory on the fate of Kurds and women. No force can stand in the way of this and stop us.
In this process where the world is in chaos with political, social and economic crises, how are you in the midst of change / innovation in order to be able to meet the expectations of the people of Kurdistan?
Reconstruction issues within our military operations are not new to us. Not just for us, but for all the powers of the world to be considered. All over the world there is a process of chaos and the search for change. We are also a strong and liberal movement in this path of change. We have been discussing this for a long time, going deeper and trying to calm it down. Discussions are driven both by mental changes and by the organizational system. What is included in this? Among the institutions, there is the will to carry out its command. Women, men, personalities must advance their art and have the will to be the strongest in the midst of war. In our guerrilla method, in which personal involvement is decisive, it has created a ground in which everyone can voluntarily participate, make decisions, rise responsibly, have a different and rich mindset, and at the same time be able to live with great emotion. work and develop your art.
Are we exactly like that, could we all fit in? We can not say that along the lines of the revolutionary people’s war we have fully established our life, war, personality, relationships and organizational system. The sociology and reality of women and men in Kurdish society, due to their backward mentalities, is not a society that has learned to live a free life. All of this creates implementation problems in practice. This can manifest itself in the approach in person, in fact command, or in practice at different levels. Of course this all comes out as a problem. We see these as developments on the one hand. Live because we try to organize ourselves according to purpose. A living and moving reality if it is in the midst of a struggle, it will also have its mistakes. The important thing is to get the results out of the mistakes, without having to take a lot of instructive lessons from it.
TEAM FOR LIFE WITH THE LEADER
To what extent were the issues you mentioned discussed at the YJA-Star and HPG Command Council meetings?
In our meetings of the Command Council that we held in 2021, they basically express this. Our pursuits, our goals are self-evident. But what mistakes have we made in the face of these goals? What are our mistakes in terms of mentality and practice? The level of our relationships that influence the war, the development of personal will, the existence of a just and liberal character within the administration or command, were the main topics we considered. The important thing is to take on even more difficult tasks in 2022, to take on historical and day-to-day responsibilities jointly. We define the guerrilla army as an army of sacrifices. A definition we use a lot. Fedayeenism is not just about public participation in action. Fedayeen goes even further. It means to sacrifice your whole soul for a struggle or a goal, to sacrifice your reality to that goal. This also brings great friendships. Great friendships are also freedom. Fedayeen (self-sacrifice), the pursuit of justice, the pursuit of freedom must be spoken of together. From this point of view, it will be seen that our guerrilla forces have come together not out of necessity, but out of a desire for a life of freedom, liberty and justice. That is why our relations must be liberal. One can say that our lives, our wars largely have a character of their own.
Our commanders and fighters of HPG and YJA Star have always aimed to continue to be strongly involved in the strategic change process, to put their stamp of practice into practice on this basis and to put this into practice. For a stronger involvement in guerrilla warfare, politics, culture, art and social life, they have made a strong determination to create free people in a free life. Our meetings of the Command Council defined our practice in 2021 as an important step in demonstrating the overall strategic change of our guerrilla struggle.
From small practical work to large ideological and organizational problems, to military tactical problems, there must be work to be done that seeks to advance itself, not only for itself but also for its allies. educates and disciplines. There was also a discussion on the part of the commanders that the sect should not be portrayed like commanders in the general army, should not interfere with day-to-day problems, or should not just try to respond to day-to-day problems. be, the discussion was about it. Of course when this was done, the following approach was shown to define its strategic position as a militant, give meaning to it and implement a solution on this basis. Once we have organized our lives and practices, the primary criterion should be TEAM FOR LIFE WITH THE LEADER. Build a personality that works 24 hours a day and harnesses its energy to the end. It is very important that we see the line of backward nationalism imposed on our struggle and the peoples of the Middle East, understand it deeply and respond to it on the line of Zilan. We say this not just as a practical moment. Regardless of the general political, military approach, how we are in the work, what our mission is, what our mission is, against all this we must show a position as a liberal line, define militancy.
PDK’S COMPANY WITH TURKISH STATE IS CLEAR
It has recently been reported in the Kurdish public and media that the Turkish state is preparing for new occupiers’ attacks and that the PDK will also take an active part in these attacks. How will your guerrilla forces be able to withstand the onslaught of new attacks involving local forces?
One of the most debated issues in recent days is whether an operation will be launched against South Kurdistan or not, whether the PDK will join the operation. This is the most talked about debate right now. This argument is absurd, it is the opposite of the agenda. Not only operations are being carried out in South Kurdistan, South Kurdistan itself has been occupied. It is now a matter of debate whether the PDK will join this war or not, how it will join this war. It is clear that the PDK is an accomplice and accomplice of these occupier attacks. From the houses and properties of Nechirvan and Masrur Barzani, it is understood how they sell Kurdistan and build their lives on the blood of the martyrs. There is no need for further comment and discussion. The year 2007 is a very interesting statement by an American official who has transformed politics in the world. The official said, ‘If you can not solve the problem, then enlarge it a little more’. This approach is especially true in South Kurdistan.
The mind of fascism is based on the fact that in every field it tries to increase the tension, to create opposition and to dominate itself. Fascism has thus become dominant. Creates opposition and war from sensitivities, tensions and tensions. This line has been defined not for the sake of humanity, but for the sake of the sensitivity of some people towards power and its bill has also been cut on the people. Authorities must never forget this; the right solutions for tensions and sensitivities will not burn you down until they are found, because it has such a character. The PDK in particular, has entered a situation where it can no longer escape this danger. We are not in a conjuncture that can be overcome by demagoguery. It is not difficult to understand without service what intelligence does. But a situation that is not acceptable. Whichever way it is evaluated, such an approach will end for the PDK. It also has no benefit for our people in South Kurdistan and the whole people of Kurdistan.
Neo-Unionists in the spirit of Enver Pasha tried to create a new battlefield. If this meant the failure of only one part, it would not have been so much discussed and not a sensitive topic. But the words and policies of an elite that will burn down a country, bring with it some unwanted events in the Kurdish issue throughout the Middle East, are indeed a place of danger. The concern of the freedom movement is not because it can not accept an invasion attack, or it is not because of weakness. As everyone knows the freedom movement is in such a position to easily respond to the invasion attacks from all sides politically and militarily. Those who understand some of the tactics and strategy of the military know that each force is still dominant and advantageous in its geography. There is also an important combination and experience that has been created by the guerrilla struggle over the years. Given the daily events and preparations made, the PDK’s involvement in the current occupier attack, as well as getting out of this situation, will never be easy. When people look at it from a political point of view, the advantage is even more on the side of the freedom movement. Those who see the history of repetition are foolish rulers, those who unquestioningly follow those foolish rulers. History is not doomed to repeat itself! History does not condemn those foolish rulers and it does not condemn those who follow those foolish rulers!
Kurdish-Turkish relations were created through a policy of denial and annihilation and resistance against this policy. Until the PKK’s step, the feelings of rape without having an ideological basis were largely in the form of a rebellion of order and courage. But with the PKK the area of mountain rape; was settled on an ideological, political and military basis and was permanent. The mountain first of all created ideological courage by the measure of free personalities and free life. Although for years all kinds of special warfare, psychological warfare, bombardment and chemical weapons have been used, they have not been able to intimidate the Kurdish people, nor have they been able to prevent guerrilla resistance. Ideological courage did not break in the hearts. If man is a dignified being, then he will not submit to genocidal policies. Betrayal does not depend on your desire for freedom. No matter how hard you try to defeat it with dirty policies, conspiracies, psychological warfare, you will create resistance at that level to stand up with courage. This is a dialectical fact.
There is a serious situation of reversing the agenda. The particular war with the psychological movement is heavily in play. No one can ask, ‘What has happened for so many years with your technique, your military strength, your intelligence, your state power, what happened? Who is the real terrorist? In a situation where the Leader is so obsessed, is not an approach that does not look like something like this terrorism? From the age of 12 to the age of seven, is not the killing of our people just terrorism because of Kurdishness? Withdrawal of many legitimate representatives out of politics, is not it terrorism? With its army of tens of thousands of people and technical force, is it not terrorism to attack young people with chemical weapons? ’These actions all show that the Turkish state is a terrorist. In fact, the PKK should be removed from the ‘terror’ list and the Turkish state should be included in the terror list.
THE NEW GUERRILLA IS SOVEREIGNTY
How do you assess the level of your guerrillas against the Turkish army? On what philosophical / ideological basis was your guerrilla struggle based?
Nothing stays where it happened. Just as the guerrillas on the mountain are not just an individual, the attacks against the guerrillas are not just against them. The war is being waged against the guerrillas, against the values of the struggle that they represent, against the reality of the people, against the peoples of the same geography.
Today, our guerrilla struggle has spread to all four parts of Kurdistan and has reached the level of addressing the Middle East. In addition, this has happened and it has become a fact that all over the world the forces against the system of grace are getting rid of it. not to be seen as small. We have some problems when we spread this level of development in the community. There is a need to spread the level of development in the society, to organize self-defense networks that will achieve results at a higher level. To do this we need to go deeper into it and establish an organizational style that expands itself and a structure that quickly builds solutions. With the understanding that the movement projects more freedom to practice, to be able to defend itself against micro and macro attacks, it is imperative for us.
Leader Apo described the guerrilla warfare of the revolutionary people with the words’ as quantums are everywhere but nowhere, sometimes as waves sometimes as parts but always in motion and with their actions in a way that complements each other, in fully defines the geography in depth and defined the most dynamic force that builds the revolution ‘. As can be understood from this definition, 21st century guerrilla warfare is quantum guerrilla warfare. But what should one understand from guerrilla and quantum guerrilla warfare? Quantum physics is about objects, meaning the effort and will that it will be able to perform. This may be the will of the individual may be that of the organization. But the coincidences that will open the way to time and life do not happen by themselves.
For this;
- The guerrilla of the era relies more than ever on the guerrilla of the mind, will, creation, expertise and discipline of the individual. Because of the warlike character of our century, the concept of a brave warrior who relies on courage and deep feelings is not enough to achieve victory alone.
- One of the main principles of uncertainty. In terms of guerrilla warfare we can interpret this as such. Can become a force that is not clear where it will be, what to do, the enemy can not understand and learn its style of movement, the enemy can not guess where the guerrilla is. Secrecy is sacred in quantum guerrilla warfare, because secrecy is freedom. Confidentiality means movement, lifestyle and organizational secret. The guerrilla, who knows where he is and when he will do it, is in the clutches of the enemy.
- In guerrilla warfare there are no big or small activities, good or bad jobs, main and non-main duties. There is value and meaning in every work. Every friend can do a job and get the job done. Of course the main task of the guerrillas is to take strong action against the enemy. But the time of action is the last time. From training work to infrastructure work, everything will have value if it was established when its relationship with the goal was established. There is only one reason to know, lift and eat food, and that is the revenge of the Leader and of our martyrs. If we do not connect the work and the work we do with the goal, this work will come to us meaningless and we will become strangers to our labour. From the duty of the workers to the work of the retirement, every work that the guerrilla does is the most sacred work for us.
- Our defense forces in Kurdistan must organize themselves in the mountains, cities, plains, villages, neighborhoods and streets everywhere and not limit the struggle to just one area. But the guerrillas, wherever they may be, must not abandon their principles and rules, but must act with strength, confidence and discipline.
- The pace of the revolutionary people’s war must be more revolutionary, it must be responsive to time, it must be involved in the work with great performance, it must always be the guerrilla of the time against the enemy.
- In terms of style of action and behavior, dogmatism and practical learning need to be transcended and become more creative. The human brain is a belt. The efficiency of the movement should be increased, the camouflage should be strengthened. The principle on which the action is based and the idea to be performed should be the main principle. The orders are neither guerrilla nor action. Guerrilla means being able to think right, decide voluntarily and be able to get into action.
- Completion is one of the most important principles. Guerrilla warfare must be done in accordance with the common spirit. The spirit in which thought can be expressed without thought, the wrong thing is criticized, common points are grasped and understood without even a hint, and different ones can also express themselves. This is called the spirit of the moment. When they look each other in the eye they know what they feel and what they want to do. Not only is it understandable, it also completes as much as you understand. Especially during activities complete yourself, act with a common spirit and be able to follow each other.
- The method of beating is effective in actions and must stop the enemy. It is clear and concise. When he already gives himself the target, in order to get the exact results, whatever guerrilla tactics are needed, he must choose and accomplish everything. The principle of free will choices emerges here. Strengthening military understanding will also play an effective role in selecting targets and implementing tactics.
- The effect of pinpoint in quantum physics means to make a small change in the initial data, creating large and unpredictable results. The action taken by comrade Zilan in 1996 opened the door to tactical crackdowns, repulsed attacks on the Leader, and drove everyone from Kurdistan to all of Turkey’s metropolises to freedom. - Quantum guerrilla warfare means guerrilla warfare in which the mind, talent and creativity of the individual emerges.
- According to the theorem of quantum physics when photons once come into contact with each other, they go where they can also make contact with each other and give and take together. In guerrilla warfare the connection that is also made with comradeship and party is like that. As Eser’s friend had previously pointed out, the PKK, which has a very small relationship with him, has established strong ties, and those who once knew the PKK and lived within the PKK could not leave it. A friendship is such a bond that once a bond has been established between you, it is not possible for that bond to be severed by time and distance. Even if you do not see each other and do not talk to each other, you will also feel pain, happiness and thoughts of each other. What we want to say here is that in 2022 our guerrilla force in the mountains, cities and valleys will be in a quantum resistance for twelve months of the year.
