CENTRAL NEWS – The international initiative RiseUp4Rojava made a call on their twitter to internationalists demonstrate solidarity towards Kurdistan and the revolutionary struggle, as it is attacked once against by Turkey-KDP and Iraq in Southern Kurdistan. Besides, the initiative joined other organizations in a call to take actions and demonstrate on the 30th of April!
The call can be read as it follows:
On April the 18th 2022 the fascist Turkish army launched a large scale Operation in the Free Mountains of Kurdistan. In the course of the operation „Claw Lock“ turkish warplanes, drones and helicopters executed hundreds of airstrikes in the mountains of South Kurdistan. Massive amounts of ground troops were deployed and reportedly chemical Weapons were used again. The Gerîla is offering a heroic resistance against these attacks and show yet again that they are a force of hope and dignity. Facing Fascism they are the ones who defend the principles of humanity!
To show our support with this historical resistance, we ask you to take solidarity pictures, as groups or individuals with the slogan „Bijî Gerîla!“ and share them on social media using the #SmashTurkishFascism hashtag.
