CENTRAL NEWS – The Patriotic Youth in London opened a new commune in the city, with the goal to gater the youth, organize activities, actions and educations. The opening of the Commune also counted with the presentation of a memorial video of Şehîd Fîraz Dağ and moral.
The Youth release a statement as it follow:
“To all society, ‘defenders of the homeland’ and Fighting peoples.
As representatives of the revolutionary youth movement in London, today 10th of April 2022, in the year of liberation of Rêber APO and the victory of the Kurdistan revolution, proudly and with a strong decision, we inaugurate the Sehîd Fîraz Dag revolutionary youth comune, and officially join the Union of the Kurdish Democratic Community in Europe (KCDK-E).
With that decision we show our intention on growing the struggle for the freedom of Kurdistan and all the oppressed people’s, and, focused on that objective, we promise that until Rêber APO is not free; Until all fascist and invaders don’t go out of our homeland; and the kurdish people is not one and free, we will not leave this fight.
In our home land, with the putting into practice of the philosophy and thought of the people’s leader, Abdullah Öcalan, the Democratic confederalism system was built as the alternative against the oppressive and genocidal capitalist modernity system. Now that alternative opens the way to all the oppressed peoples in the middle east and the rest of the world with the vanguard of the people’s resistance, and specially the Kurdish weman and youth.
The time has come for the freedom of Rêber APO, and our most radical action for it to be possible is to get ourselves organized!
On that basis, we inaugurate our comune on the name of Sehîd Fîraz Dag. Mehmet Aksoy, that felt martyr in Raqqa in 2018 in the war against ISIS while he was fulfilling his responsibility in the documentation works of YPG. Sehîd Fîraz, is an example for all the kurdish youth in Britain and beyond the homeland. He lived long time outside Kurdistan but not even in one moment cut himself from the struggle, from his homeland or his identity. With his art, life and personality played a vanguard rol for his society.
At the end, with his step on joining the struggle for the defense of his homeland, he showed us the most right position for taking responsibility on the values of freedom and gave us an essential lesson for our lives and future.
The inauguration of this commune needs to be seen as a new strategical step and stance of neglecting the special warfare, the assimilation and the rendition tendencies that we encounter in this country. And at the same time, as the most radical response against fascism, the kidnapping of Rebertî and the colonialist’s war.
The organization of the youth is the defense of the line and the spirit of the democratic modernity revolution! Is a declaration of intentions against all kinds of backwardness and rendition intentions!
We will not let that anyone takes us out of our path of victory!
On that basis, we, as the Sehîd Fîraz Dag revolutionary youth commune, promise that we will play our vanguard role in this revolution and that we’ll fight in it until it’s final victory!
