BEHDÎNAN – The Co-Chair of the KCK Executive Council issued a written statement on the occasion of May 1, Labor Day.
The KCK statement said:
“We celebrate May Day, a day of unity, struggle and solidarity with the world working class, workers, women, the people and all freedom and democracy activists. We believe that workers, workers, people and women in particular should take to the streets and celebrate May 1st with great enthusiasm. The working class and the oppressed peoples of the world will increase their unity and solidarity with May 1 and strengthen the struggle for freedom against tyranny.
May 1st is a very significant day for workers, workers and oppressed peoples to fight against tyranny, to express their sense of freedom, thought and struggle in a spirit of unity and solidarity.
Humanity has waged a relentless struggle against class civilization and this struggle continues today. May 1st also becomes part of humanity’s struggle against tyranny.
MAY 1 SHOULD BE THE DAY OF THE STRUGGLE
The most important feature of the 1st of May is that it has been achieved through struggle. Therefore, not only May 1, but also the workers, women and the people should take a stand against oppression, tyranny, fascism and oppression and make May 1 the day of struggle. Of course no value and achievement can be achieved without struggle. Most workers, people and women who work hard know this. If today the capitalist system is in crisis, it is thanks to this struggle. The overthrow of capitalist modernity and the end of dictatorship will also take place through struggle.
The system of capitalist modernity is the most authoritarian system in history. The system of domination that has historically begun with the domination of women’s nature and labor has reached its highest level with capitalist modernity. Because the system of capitalist modernity relies on mechanization and the concept of work, it puts everything under control. Not only human beings but the values that human beings have created, domination over all nature and living beings continues.
The system of capitalist modernity is the enemy of society. It divides society, divides it and exercises control over it. The fragmentation of socialism and its disintegration is the basis of capitalist modernity. Because there is socialism in the place there can be neither capitalism nor any other system of capitalism. Socialism is against tyranny and does not accept tyranny. Humanity has acquired all its material and spiritual values through socialization. Capitalist modernity also sees socialism as an enemy because of its reliance on overwork, and sees its existence in the annihilation of socialism. Socialization has therefore become very weak because of the system of capitalist modernity. Today there is no value that has not been meted out to it and this has been done due to the weakening of socialization. The character of capitalist modernity that antagonizes society must therefore be well understood, with the strengthening of socialism and its construction, the system of dictatorship must be abolished.
Capitalist modernity enhances individualism, places individuals against society and seeks to eliminate socialization. It gets people out of the way and robs society. It plays with the world of human meaning and feelings, it divides it, makes people something far removed from society, it has no sense and meaning and a selfish existence. Man must become a robot and life has become a robot not outside and in the future, in the sense that he has created capitalist modernity and in a personality that has been alienated from emotions.
A current stage of capitalist modernity society is being lived. In a food society the only good thing is just eating and finishing things. A life that does not create anything and only accepts consumption as a value, means a great breakthrough for humanity. To be saved from this fall, one must fight against the concept of capitalist modernity and this struggle will continue until the collapse of capitalist modernity.
LEADER APO ESTABLISHED THE PKK ON THE PRINCIPLE OF EQUAL CONNECTION, FREEDOM AND SOCIALISM
One of the main principles of the Kurdistan Freedom Movement is to oppose tyranny. The PKK has built on the legacy of the struggle for socialism and has fought for it from the beginning until now. The interests of capitalist modernity have been greatly oppressed and oppressed by the Kurdish people. Kurdistan was divided, the Kurdish people were massacred and destroyed. An absolute system of oppression has been established in Kurdistan and the Kurdish people. The struggle for freedom that the PKK has launched is thus one of the most meaningful and great constructions in history. Leader Apo founded the PKK on the basis of its connection to equality, freedom and socialism and took part in the struggle for the freedom of Kurdistan. There is a link between equality, freedom and socialism in the PKK’s nature. The PKK’s leading cadres include many Turkish revolutionaries and socialists. These comrades of ours have seen the struggle for equality and freedom of socialism in the liberation of the Kurdish people against the tyrannical tyranny and with this feeling they have taken part in the struggle for the freedom of Kurdistan.
The Kurdish people are fighting not only for themselves, but for all peoples and humanity. One such example is the struggle against ISIS. The PKK and the Kurdish people have fought against ISIS, upholding the humanitarian values of the peoples of the Middle East and the world, and have paid a heavy price in this way. Today he is still fighting against the fascism of the AKP and the MHP, which has become the enemy of the people and humanity, and is fulfilling this role.
The revolutionaries and workers of Turkey built a tradition of struggle and a legacy against tyranny by paying heavy prices. On May 1, 1976, 34 revolutionaries lost their lives in a celebration in Taksim Square as a result of an attack by the state’s dark forces. We remember all the martyrs of May 1 in the person of the martyrs of Taksim Square on May 1st. Giving them great value, indicates that we will have to get out of their struggle. The martyrs of Taksim Square on May 1 have a special place in the construction of traditions and values of freedom and democracy.
We, the Kurdistan Freedom Movement, have always seen the Turkish working class as part of the struggle for democracy, equal freedom of the Turkish people and the workers. First of all, the liberation of the working class and all the poor forces of Turkey is possible through the joint struggle of the socialist and democratic forces of Turkey against the Kurdish people. For this, the democratic forces of Turkey and the struggle for the freedom of Kurdistan must further unite the struggle.
EVERYONE SHOULD TAKE THE STREETS ON MAY 1 AND POSITION AGAINST THE ATTACKS AND THE OCCUPATION!
The fascism of the AKP-MHP has entered the movement with the hostility of the Kurdish people and has started occupier and annihilation attacks against the Kurdish people. Wherever there is an achievement the Kurdish people are attacked, they want to occupy. Occupies South Kurdistan despite the occupiers’ attacks in Rojava. The aim of the AKP-MHP fascism is to genocide the Kurdish people. They are fighting against the Kurdish people with the values of the workers and the people of Turkey. For this to happen, everyone must take to the streets and take a stand against the war and the dirty occupation of the AKP-MHP fascism. If the Kurdish question is not resolved in Turkey, no other issue can be resolved. We are convinced that on May 1, workers, workers, people, women, all poor people will take to the streets to show their stance against tyranny, to take a stand against the fascist invasion and occupation of the AKP-MH. . Strengthen the unity of the Kurdish people and the struggle for democracy and labor in Turkey, the fascism of the AKP-MHP will collapse, it will democratize Turkey.
The fascism of the AKP-MHP is as much hostile to the Kurds as it is to the whole society, people, women, workers and the poor. The source of all problems in Turkey is the AKP-MHP. For those who oppose oppression, all those who support the cause of equality and freedom, must come together to fight against the fascism of the AKP-MHP, against the common enemy. This unity must be achieved, the AKP-MHP must be overthrown.
We call on all people, women, workers and laborers on May 1 to take to the streets, strengthen their unity, take a stand against the AKP-MHP occupiers’ attacks, and unite with the Kurdish people. “
