BEHDİNAN – HPG Press Center made a written statement and announced the identity information of 3 guerrillas who were martyred in the Zap.
HPG Press Center gave the following information about the martyred guerrillas:
“Our comrades Hüseyin, Çiyager and Agît, who ran to the resistance positions in the face of the invasion operation launched by the colonial and fascist Turkish state on the night of April 17, and gave the necessary answer to the colonialists by punishing many invaders, fell martyrs during the intense clashes and air attacks. Our comrades, one of the most distinguished representatives of the Fedayeen line, who proved this fact once again with the war they waged against the invaders as well as their lives, showed the whole world that our honorable resistance will result in victory.

HUSEIN DAG
Our comrade Hüseyin was born in Sêrt and grew up in a patriotic family and started to know the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle from an early age. Our comrade, who is passionately attached to the struggle of our Party, the PKK, which created and carries out the freedom struggle of a people whose name has been forgotten and ignored, has dreamed of the day when he will join the guerrilla ranks from an early age. Our comrade, who witnessed the oppression and annihilation policies of the fascist Turkish state against our people and was filled with great anger, never accepted these attacks and had a great anger. Our comrade Hüseyin, who responded to the assimilation, denial and annihilation attacks against our oppressed people by joining the guerrilla ranks, showed all the honorable Kurdish youth the way to go. Our comrade, who joined the guerrilla ranks in the Botan area, went to the practical area after receiving basic guerrilla training and displayed a successful war practice against the invaders. With the experience he gained, he became one of our young commanders who moved to the Zap field and quickly specialized in the tactics of the new era by displaying a strong practice in this field. Our comrade, who deepened in Leader Apo’s philosophy, joined the ranks of Hêzên Taybet by following the path of thousands of our martyrs marching to martyrdom and took his struggle one step further. Our comrade, who based his life and war on the party line, knew how to achieve strong results by aiming for success in every field he went to and in every work he carried out. Our comrade Hüseyin, who gives great value to his comrades and reflects this at every opportunity, has earned the love and respect of every comrade around him. Our comrade Hüseyin, who has participated in the revolutionary work without stopping to realize the physical freedom of Leader Apo and the dreams of freedom of our people, and approaches every work, big or small, with great enthusiasm, enthusiasm and revolutionary seriousness, has been an exemplary militant for his comrades. Our comrade, who waged a long struggle against the invaders in the Zap area and participated in many actions as a pioneer, played a major role in the successful outcome of the actions he participated in. Comrade Hüseyin, one of our comrades who fired the first bullet against the attempt of the colonial Turkish state to occupy the Zap and Avaşîn areas and dealt the first blow to the invaders, fought selflessly until the last moment and left a great legacy of struggle for his comrades who remained behind. Our comrade Hüseyin, who walks in the line of immortal bodyguards, will always live in our struggle and will enlighten our way.

Our comrade Çiyager was born in Cîzîr, where the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle met and socialized with our people and embraced the guerrilla struggle with serhildans, and grew up in a patriotic family that adheres to the Kurdistani resistance tradition. Our comrade Çiyager, who had to immigrate with his family and whose villages were burned as a result of the attack of the invading Turkish state, which used all dirty methods to prevent the Freedom Struggle of our people, which rose in every field and dealt heavy blows to the invaders, recognized the genocidal face of the colonialists at an early age. As an honorable Kurdish youth, our comrade Çiyager, who saw the resistance of our people in Cîzîr and joined the struggle, strongly recognized the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle and the reality of the enemy in practice. He fought in an organized way by participating in youth activities and attracted Kurdish youth to the ranks of the struggle. Our comrade Çiyager, who constantly improves his resistance line, joined the guerrilla ranks in 2014. After completing his basic guerrilla training, our comrade, who focused on specializing in the military field, became an expert in guerrilla styles and tactics in a short time. Our comrade, who participated in studies in different fields, came to the fore in a short time with his enthusiastic and willing participation and reached the level of a pioneer militant. Our comrade, who examines the Leadership Philosophy and the lives of our immortal martyrs in depth, is based on evaluating every moment with a stronger participation. Our comrade, who is a follower of the Fedai line, joined the ranks of Hêzên Taybet in 2019. Focusing on the goal of self-sacrifice and crowning the sacred values created by our martyrs with victory, our comrade has participated in the revolutionary work without stopping. Our comrade, who constantly trains himself and generalizes what he has learned by sharing it with his comrades, has succeeded in being the defender of our Party’s militancy line in his life and war. Our comrade, who has an endless anger against the colonialists, has made his anger the basis of his struggle, which he constantly raises. He was one of our comrades who first met the invasion operation launched by the colonialists, and by running from position to position, he gave strength to his comrades and dealt heavy blows to the invaders. Our comrade Çiyager, who went against the invaders with a self-sacrificing spirit, represented the line of resistance and fought selflessly until he was martyred. Comrade Çiyager will always enlighten us in our struggle for victory.

AGIT KURDISTAN
Our comrade Agît Başûre was born in a patriotic family in the city of Xaneqîn in Kurdistan. His family fought against the Saddam Regime for a long time and never backed down from the cause of Kurdishness. With the patriotic consciousness he received from his family, our comrade Agît, who had some contradictions about life since his childhood, constantly questioned the existing life. Leaving our people without identity and status has caused our comrade Agît to experience a deep contradiction and he has never accepted the situation. He felt great anger against the colonial powers, who left our people with no other option but massacres, and wanted to avenge all the massacres inflicted on our people, especially the Helebce Massacre. Our comrade Agît, who was firmly attached to his national characteristics at a young age, made an intense effort to preserve these characteristics. Towards his youth, he focused on the environment he lived in, his political developments, our people and the situation in our country. Our comrade Agît, who came to a certain conclusion in the concentrations he lived, realized that it was absolutely necessary to fight against the invaders. For this reason, he understood that our people could not attain their freedom with the current status in Bashure Kurdistan alone, and believed that real freedom can only be achieved with a struggle based on the freedom of the whole of Kurdistan. Our comrade Agît, who met the PKK on this basis, began to better understand the reality of the PKK and the Leadership through his discussions. Our comrade Agît, who wants to immediately put into practice what he understands, has come to the fore with his consistent revolutionaryism from the very beginning of his struggle. He was first involved in youth work and gained a certain level of organizational experience in these studies. In these works, he played a decisive role in raising the awareness of the youth of Bashure Kurdistan and participating in the struggle. Again, during these studies, he reached a certain level of awareness in understanding the real faces of the Bashur parties. In the face of this situation of the Bashur parties, Leader Apo, who devoted his whole life to the Kurdistan cause and has been in solitary confinement for 23 years, understood the reality better. This situation not only deepened the contradictions of our comrade Agît, but also caused him to come to the stage of a decision that would direct his life. The attack of ISIS mercenaries in many areas of Kurdistan, the fact that the Bashur forces did not show any presence against these attacks, and the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla came to the aid of our people and repulsed the ISIS mercenaries, which accelerated our comrade Agit’s decision to join the guerrilla ranks. After joining the guerrilla ranks, he reached military competence, fulfilled all his duties and responsibilities in the war against gangs, and gained important military experience. Our comrade Agît, who turned his face to the mountains of Kurdistan after the success in the war against the gangs, wanted to better understand Leader Apo, to whom he was sincerely devoted, and basically joined the Hêzên Taybet organization. During the basic education she received in Hêzên Taybet, she made a great effort to understand and put the Leadership philosophy into practice. He wanted to shape his personality according to the Leadership ideology, and for this he always read, researched and was in a deep concentration. Our comrade Agît, who has never accepted the leadership’s captivity, has set our Leader’s freedom as his primary goal. He did everything he could, both militarily and ideologically. Our comrade Agît, one of our comrades who pioneered the PKK’s self-defense militancy, fought day and night to respond to the enemy’s attacks on Zap and reached martyrdom.
We express our condolences to all our patriotic people, especially to the esteemed families of our comrades Hüseyin, Çiyager and Agît, who died after inflicting heavy blows on the invading Turkish state by walking unhesitatingly along the lines of the Fedais, and we promise that we will crown the struggle of our comrades with victory.”
