BEHDİNAN – HPG and YJA Star guerrillas continue their celebrations, which they started with the enthusiasm of Newroz, with the excitement of April 4th.
The guerrillas expressed their feelings and thoughts on April 4, the birthday of People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
Lorîn Hesen: “I congratulate the birth of Leader Apo, especially Leader Apo, and all the people of Kurdistan. April 4 is very precious for libertarian peoples like us, so it is celebrated in four parts of Kurdistan and all over the world. Because Leader Apo inspired the struggle of all peoples. Most of all, it became a reason for freedom for women. Women in the mountains of Kurdistan celebrate April 4 with great enthusiasm and morale. Although there are invasion attacks on the mountains of Kurdistan, as guerrillas we celebrate April 4 as our own birth. Because we recognized our existence with the birth of Leader Apo. The oppressed peoples, especially women, recognized themselves and became the will. I congratulate all peoples and comrades on the birth of the Leader.”
‘WE ARE BEHIND THE PROMISE WE GAVE HIM’
Şervan Gerîla: “I congratulate the birth of Rêber Apo. As the militants of Rêber Apo, we stand behind the promise we made to him and we are assertive that we will fulfill our promise. Because Rêber Apo fulfilled his promise to the people of Kurdistan; therefore, it is our duty to protect Rêber Apo and we will get him out of the prison of Imrali.
When the birth of Leader Apo is mentioned, the birth of a people comes to mind. In addition, the Kurdish people see April 4 as their birth. As Kurdistan Freedom guerrillas, we see the birth of Rêber Apo as our own birth, and we say that this year’s birth will be the year of Rêber Apo’s physical freedom. On this basis, we celebrate the 4th April day of the peoples of the world.”
‘HE PROVIDED A NEW LIFE’
Avesta Cûdî Merîvan: “I congratulate the birth of our Leader to the martyrs of the revolution, the Kurdish people and all women. I have hope that we will celebrate Rêber Apo’s birthday with him next year. Since the day Rêber Apo opened his eyes to the world, the Kurdish people, the peoples of the world, especially women, have offered a new life.
We celebrate April 4 every year, and we will celebrate it in the future. Even though the enemy makes invasion attacks, they cannot prevent our celebrations. No matter how hard he tries, he cannot prevent our commitment to the Leader. With his soul, heart, ideas and paradigm, Rêber Apo lives with us, and we live with him. Once again, I congratulate the martyrs of the revolution, all comrades in the battle positions of the Kurdish people, and the birth of the Leader. Long live rebirth!”
