BEHDÎNAN – HPG-BİM stated in a written statement that they could not predict that the invaders would encounter great resistance from the guerrilla and were “shocked”.

The statement stated:
“The effective actions of our forces against the occupation operation launched against the Zap and Avaşîn areas continue successfully and with results. The invaders, who could not foresee that they would encounter such guerrilla resistance, were shocked. Clashes between the invaders, who suffered heavy losses, and our forces continue. Likewise, the bombardments and fighter jets against our areas continue uninterruptedly. The invading Turkish state is trying to hide its losses by stating that our forces have suffered many losses with their special war lies. What Turkish private war media has stated about our losses is completely false and does not reflect the truth.”
41 INVESTORS PUNISHED
HPG-BİM stated that the guerrilla has lost 5 martyrs so far, while the invaders have lost at least 41 in the last 24 hours.
The statement said:
“During the war until now, 5 of our comrades have been martyred. When the registration information of our friends becomes clear, it will be shared with the public.
Only in the last 24 hours, 41 soldiers of the invading Turkish army were punished, 5 soldiers were injured and 2 drones were shot down.”
GUERILLA ACTIONS
HPG-BİM gave the details of the guerrilla’s actions as follows:
In Avaşîn region;
– At 09:40 on April 18, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the Werxelê area were taken under control by our forces. The invaders were shot 5 times by our forces with hand grenades and personal weapons at close range. During the intense clashes, 12 invaders were punished and 2 drones on the area were shot down. At the same time, a group of invaders were shot with heavy weapons and 2 invaders were punished.
– At noon on April 18, the invaders who wanted to advance in the Werxelê area were shot again by our forces. As a result of effective hits, 1 occupant was punished and 2 occupants were injured. At the same time, the invaders were targeted and shot with heavy weapons. As a result of the effective intervention of our forces, the invaders retreated one step.
In the Zap region;
– At 03:00 on April 18, the invaders who wanted to advance towards Girê Martyr Ciwan were shot at close range with the infiltration tactic after they were taken under control by our forces. As a result of the action, 2 invaders were punished.
– In the morning hours of April 19, the invaders who wanted to take up positions around Girê Martyr Ciwan were shot by our forces with an assassination tactic. As a result of this action, 1 invader was punished and the positioning of the invaders was stopped.
– On April 18, at 14:40, the invaders who wanted to land in the Girê Çiyayê Reş area were hit with sabotage tactics by our forces. As a result of the action, 2 invaders were punished. At 17:45, the invaders who wanted to take action were shot again by our forces with sabotage tactics and heavy weapons. As a result of the effective hits of our forces, 5 invaders were punished and 1 invader was injured.
– On April 18, between 11:00 and 11:40, the invaders who wanted to move in the Kurojahro area were hit 3 times with sabotage tactics and 4 invaders were punished.
– On April 18, at 14:00, the invaders who wanted to advance towards Girê Martyr Harun were hit with sabotage tactics and 1 invader was punished.
– On April 18, between 08:30 and 09:00, the invaders who wanted to advance towards Girê Martyr Şemdîn were hit 4 times with sabotage tactics. As a result of the actions carried out, 5 invaders were punished.
– The invaders, who took action in the Girê Martyr Şemdîn area at 14:30 on April 18, were targeted with a coordinated guerrilla action after our YJA Star forces took control. Our YJA Star forces shot the invaders at close range with individual weapons and punished the 2 invaders.
– On April 18, between 12:00 and 13:00, the invaders in Girê Martyr Ciwan were shot 3 times with assassination tactics and individual weapons. As a result of the actions carried out, at least 4 invaders were punished.
– On April 18, the invaders on the move between Girê Xeregol and Girê Martyr Delîl were shot down by our forces. As a result of the action, 2 invaders were injured. After the action, the invaders had to retreat one step.
