BEHDÎNAN – A statement issued by the HPG Press and Information Center said that guerrilla teams were “responding as needed” to the occupying Turkish state.
According to the statement, 3 more soldiers were punished in the Zap area, one was injured.
The HPG statement reads:
The occupier Turkish state’s occupier’s attack was welcomed by the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas in the spirit of Apoy’s militancy and heavy blows were inflicted on the occupiers in every area. Our guerrilla teams are moving along the line of our immortal sacrifices and inflicting heavy blows on the invaders, implementing new time tactics with creative practice and responding to the heavy attacks of the invaders.
In the heavy battle our comrade Fedayeen, one of the brave and noble sons of our Arab people, fought valiantly, inflicting heavy blows on the occupiers and was martyred.
In the strong actions of our forces 3 invaders were punished, one invader was also wounded. Detailed information of the activities is as follows:

At 14:30 on 22 April, the occupier Turkish state army bombarded the battle positions of Şehid Cudi Hill in the resistance area of Karker Hill 6 times and then tried to advance. With the strong intervention of our forces the war broke out and the occupiers were forced to withdraw to a certain level. At 17:40 and 19:10 on the same day, the occupiers once again tried to advance towards the battlefields, and our forces also used sabotage, hand grenades and personal weapons against the occupiers. As a result of the strong intervention of our forces at least 3 invaders were punished, one invader was also wounded.
On 22 April, between 22:00 and 01:00 hours, the battle positions in the resistance areas of Karker, Şikefta Birindara and Girê Orte were bombed by attack helicopters. In the areas of resistance the war between our forces and the occupiers continues in earnest.
On 22 April, between 22:00 and 01:00 hours, the occupying Turkish army wanted to deploy its forces by helicopter to the villages of Çiyayêreş, Girê Rûbar and Girê Kovî. With the intervention of our forces the war happened and still continues.
On 22 April, between 22:00 and 01:00 hours, in the vicinity of the Werxel Resistance Square, our forces attacked the occupiers with heavy weapons. As a result the number of invaders punished and those injured was not clear.
On April 22, between 17:30 and 22:50, the areas of Çemço and Şehid Adil were bombed by obus and warplanes by border posts.
A GUERRILLA WAS A MARTYR
Our comrade Fedayi, who was among the guerrilla teams in the movement and had been fighting in the Avaşin area since the first day of the occupation, responded to the occupiers in the front lines, fought valiantly and was martyred. Our comrade Fedayi who was the heroic and precious son of our Arab people and, through his heroic resistance, fought with a deep conviction of the paradigm of a democratic nation and the ideology of the Apocalypse and became a symbol of one of the heroes in our resistance.
