BEHDİNAN – HPG Press Center said, “Within the framework of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign by our forces, the actions in the Avaşîn and Zap regions, in which the occupiers are dealt blow after blow by turning every place into a resistance area, continue without interruption. A total of 34 invaders were punished, 6 invaders were injured, and 1 drone was hit in the actions developed by our forces over a wide geography, by defeating all the techniques of the enemy and using the new era guerrilla tactics with high self-sacrificing spirit and courage.
HPG shared the following information regarding the details of the actions:
In Avaşîn region;
On April 19, at 15:30, the invaders in the Werxelê Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons after our YJA Star forces took them under control. As a result of the effective action, 10 occupiers were punished and 2 occupants were injured.
On April 19, at 17:30 and 17:50, the invaders on the move in the Werxelê Resistance Area were hit twice with sabotage tactics. As a result of these actions, 2 invaders were punished.
in the Zap region;
On April 17, at 21:00, helicopters belonging to the invaders who wanted to land on Girê Martyr Ciwan in the Karker Resistance Area were targeted by our forces. As a result of the intervention of our forces, the invaders left the area without being able to land.
On April 18, the invaders who wanted to take positions in the Karker Resistance Area in the Zap region were shot by our forces with an assassination tactic. As a result of this action, 1 invader was punished.
On April 18, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the Girê Martyr Tufan area from the Cîloya Biçûk area of the Zap region and the Şehîd Şaho strait were hit twice with heavy weapons. As a result of the effective hits of our forces, the advance of the invaders was stopped.
On April 18, the invaders in the Werxelê Resistance Area in the Zap region were targeted and shot from both sides by our forces. As a result of this action, 1 invader was punished.
On April 18, the invaders who wanted to take up positions in a range in the Karker Resistance Area in the Zap region were targeted twice with heavy weapons and the determined targets were hit.
On April 18, at 13:00, the invaders who wanted to take positions in Girê Martyr Agir in the Martyr Rûstem Resistance Area were targeted and shot by our forces and 1 invader was punished.
On April 18, the invading Turkish army wanted to enter the Kunîşka Resistance Area 3 times. As a result of the effective interventions of our forces, the invaders could not advance. The invading Turkish army, which retreated one step, bombarded the area intensely.
On April 19, at 07:00, 1 drone on the Girê Martyr Ciwan area of the Karker Resistance Area was hit by our forces.
On April 19, at 09:20, the invaders who wanted to take positions in Girê Martyr Tufan in the Zap region were hit with sabotage tactics by our forces. As a result of this action, 1 invader was punished.
At 11:00 on April 19, the invaders on the move around Girê Martyr Tufan were targeted by our forces and hit with sabotage tactics. As a result of the action, 2 invaders were punished.
On April 19, at 11:10, the invaders in Girê Martyr Ciwan in the Karker Resistance Area were shot down with heavy weapons by our forces. In this action, 6 invaders were punished and 4 invaders were injured.
On April 19, the invading Turkish army took a land action from the KDP-controlled Sheladize district to the Kurojahro Resistance Area. The invaders who wanted to take action from here and take positions in Girê Martyr Şemdîn were shot by our forces with sabotage tactics and 2 invaders were punished. The activity of the invaders around Sheladize continues.
On April 19, at 06:15, the invaders who wanted to position themselves in Girê Martyr Çiyager in the Kurojahro Resistance Area were shot by our YJA Star forces with an assassination tactic. As a result of this action, 2 targeted invaders were punished.
At 15:30 on April 19, our forces intervened against the invaders who wanted to advance towards the Kunishka area. As a result of effective hits, the invaders had to retreat one step.
In the evening of April 19, the invaders who wanted to position themselves in the Kurojahro Resistance Area were hit by a coordinated guerrilla action after they were brought under control by our YJA Star forces. First action arm; hit the invaders by targeting them from close range and 4 invaders were punished. The second action arm is; effectively shot the invaders with individual weapons and punished 1 invader. In this action, 5 invaders were punished, 1 of which was a rank.
On April 19, at 10:00, the invaders who wanted to settle in Girê Martyr Harun were hit with sabotage tactics and 1 invader was punished.
On 17 and 18 April, Kurojahro, Karker, Şehîd Şahin, Çemço, Sîda, Rêncbiraxa and Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Areas in the Zap region were bombed 47 times with howitzers and warplanes fired from the outposts on the border line.
On April 18, the Girê Cûdî, Girê Amiye and Girê FM areas in the Zap region were bombed 19 times with howitzers and warplanes fired from the police stations on the border line. On the same day, the Girê Hakkari area in the Metîna region was bombed 6 times with howitzers and warplanes fired from the police stations on the border line.”
