SANTIAGO – The current Chilean constitution is the same one that was implemented during the regime of the fascist dictator Augusto Pinochet. After massive demonstrations that lasted 2 years in Chile, the people decided in a popular plebiscite for a new constitution.
During discussions about the new Chilean constitution pro-Pinochet fascists tried to demonstrate against the constituent and anti-fascists did not allow the fascist voices to be heard by the people.
