HPG / YJA Star guerrillas responded with strong actions. The occupiers in Werxel who wanted to advance were the target of guerrilla action. There 12 occupants were punished.
The statement from the People’s Defense Forces (HPG) Press and Information Center reads as follows:
At 09:40 on 18 April, our forces targeted the occupiers who wanted to advance in the Werxel area of the Avaşin region with hand grenades and personal weapons. “As a result of the action of our forces, 12 occupiers were punished.”
