CENTRAL NEWS – The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region (KRG) Masrur Barzani and the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan met in Istanbul. Barzani stated that the meeting focused on “expanding cooperation opportunities for security and stability in the region”, witch represents more cooperation with the occupier turkish state in the territory of KRG in northen Iraq.
The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region Masrur Barzani visited Turkey today and met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the Dolmabahçe Palace in Istanbul. According to a statement shared by the Prime Minister of KRG, the situation in Iraq, the region and the relations between the Kurdistan Region and Turkey were discussed during the meeting.
Barzani and Erdogan expressed their desire to develop coordination and bilateral relations on the basis of common interests in all fields, especially in the economic and trade fields.
According to Turkish media sources, Masrur Barzani’s visit is to discuss two main issues, one is the export of gas to the Kurdistan Region and the other is the fight against the guerrillas.
The flag of the Kurdistan Region was not hoisted during the meeting, the Turkish flag was on both sides.
The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, also met with the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on March 12, 2022. This practices only confirm the treacherous, anti-democratic and anti-unitary behavior of the Bazarni Family and the KDP.
